DDA Chapter 18

We just got home from grocery shopping. I made DH come with me because it was getting dark. DS stayed here becasue he isn't feeling well. He has that hacking cough and a low grade (very low) fever. He has an eye exam tomorrow so I wasn't going to send him to school anyway.

I had to buy a new hairdryer, which infuriates me because the one I have is only several months old. I noticed yesterday that it was hardly putting out any air and it sounded like it was really laboring. DH woke me up at 2 AM to tell me it wasn't working. Bonehead. He only uses it to clear the steam off the mirror - it's not like he has hair! Wipe the mirror with a towel and get on with it! I think the hairdryer has probably been knocked off the counter and now something is broken. It isn't dusty or anything.

Glynis,,,I am so sorry you are having trouble with your arm. Please check into getting a cortisone shot. I swear it helped me immediately.

I have a temp and am feeling really bad. My back is really hurting and I have already gotten sick. This sucks. Hal is sick too but not as bad as me.
I need to get better so we can go down to WV this coming weekend.

I can't really go into it right now, but the economy has hit my household too. I'm so upset right now it's all I can do to keep from breaking down.

Nah. I wiped the mirror with a towel the other day and it wasn't streaky. He just likes to annoy me!

Hi all! We played "House Hunters" this weekend in NC. Found 3 that we could see ourselves in. Made an offer on house #1, hoping to hear about that mid week. If that doesn't work out we will make an offer on our 2nd choice. It was 70 degrees out & we dined al fresco yesterday which was wonderful.

We have been gone since Friday so I have some catching up to do...Hope all is well with everyone.

My new one already has a chunck out of the plastic plug part. It fell off in my hand It still seems to work for now. Things are made like they used to be.

If I remember right, you can wash the mirror with shaving cream and it won't fog up at all.

I'm sorry that the economy has hit your home. I don't think there are many households that it hasn't effected. I just keep saying...two years from now this will be a bad memory. It seems to help for now.

I've done 4 loads of wash, mostly winter coats and snow gear. I've also helped Colby count out 100 candy corns for the 100th day of school which is Thursday. He also made out all of his Valentine's. Hunter isn't sure if he needs them and Nick won't do any. I also played on Webkinz. I haven't been in there in months so the kids enjoyed playing with me.
