Has anyone heard from Kristine? She asked me to pick up some tea but never told me what kind. I do have a PM into her but have not heard back.

Well off to make the bed. I am doing my cleaning in stages.

I know that she is sick... maybe that is why you haven't heard from her.

Mythos just seems heavy for "lunch" food. :confused3 I do want to go there, though. The July calendar has both parks open every Mon & Tues until 10 PM, so maybe Mythos will be open late enough to do an early dinner. We shall see!

I was JUST looking at the Margaritaville menu! :rotfl2: We will have dinner at US Monday & Tuesday, I just need to decide which restaurant on which day. I would imagine we'll have a break during the day Monday, so maybe eat at Margaritaville on our way back out Monday PM. Then go to IOA Tuesday and hit Mythos at whatever time we can. There won't be a break on Tuesday so a late lunch or early dinner might be good. :thumbsup2

Any hints on dining reservations? When should I call?
Great minds think alike! :rotfl:
I think any food onsite is considered "heavy" for lunch - even their counter service. Margaritaville on Monday night would work as you leave the park, but I've also heard that the Latin Quarter is delish too; that one is in City Walk. Mythos is not something to pass up - so maybe see about doing one of their later seatings for lunch - I don't think they aren't open really late. I didn't think the food inside Emeril's was the greatest; I'm not sure if the same applies to the restaurants inside the Portofino or at the Hard Rock.

They were all wonderful! What a view from your suite!

Yes! I'm not really into any sports, but that looks like a lot of fun. We went to Toronto years ago and had one of the hotel rooms that overlooks the Blue Jays playing field. The only reason that we were given that room, though, is because there wasn't a game that night. Even so, it was so neat to see the field from that perspective and to watch them grooming it, etc.

I need to go pick Laura up from school and take her to the eye dr. I'd rather sit here and do nothing.

Have a great rest of the day, DDA!

Great pictures! You know with the way that Abi reacts when her picture is taken, she and Laura seem awfully alike. If Laura could have broken through her own "terror" and self-doubts, I'm sure that she and Abi would have bonded well.

That's what I thought when we met....Abi knew she didn't have a choice but to go (plus we were with her favorite things...animals) but I think she liked Laura and felt a bit sorry for her.

I know there are times when Abi wishes she were a bit more like her sister....oh that would be scary:scared:

it was awesome!! and we were in the front row that was actual seats (the others were bar stools)

I was so proud of myself because I remembered more about hockey than I thought. :goodvibes

But we still said we'd love it much more for a concert or Disney on Ice!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

The menu for the one Emeril place wasn't that appealing, and the other one had things that sounded good but also sounded really spicy. I don't do spicy. :scared:

I saw on the US board that someone said they had never been when Mythos was open for dinner, which struck me as odd. I guess they typically aren't open past 5 PM or so, even if the park is open until 10 PM?

We'll figure it out. I need to remember when I am planning our "break" that we may not be able to get into the room until 4 PM, so I need to plan Margaritaville accordingly.

Oh! I forgot to mention reservations! You'll love this one Elizabeth! :rotfl:
Staying onsite gives you priority over those that don't stay onsite. So if you don't make reservations, you can still cut in front of everyone (at least for Mythos). We made our Mythos reservations when we walked into the park that day (that was at 9am - for a 1pm lunch) and dinner at Margaritaville was just a walk in for us. That was during Halloween which is considered a prime weekend for UO.

YAY!!!! :cool1: :yay: :cheer2: :dance3:

I was able to get a concierge studio for 2 more nights!! Now we will be checking into our concierge studio on my birthday! Yippee!

And modifying our remaining 4 nights down to standard view would have screwed up our points so I just left them alone.

Now we have a savannah studio Aug. 1-5, and a concierge Aug. 5-15. Great! Now IPO will have to do 10 nights of ADRs for me! I will only have to do 2 nights of ADRs, because the other 2 nights we will eat at US/IOA. I have no clue what we will eat over there. Maybe just CS. :confused3

 :yay: :woohoo: :dance3:

That makes me very twitchy. But if you say it works, we will try it your way!

Hi, Jennifer! Any new developments for your June trip?

Okay today may not be the day to apply for a job....I spent an hour filling out a company's individual app...to have it swallowed in a "network" problem. Then I have one job that needs to be faxed and then do a follow up call....do I send a cover letter with it?
THEN I am really interested in another job that has the professional interviewer setting up the interviews....I don't know if I want to a) apply and b) if I do apply, do I mention the previous experience I've had with this lady?
