Deb- Sorry about the laptop. Thanks for posting the pic from Bernadette. Gail's parents are in Orlando (they have a home down there) and called today to say it was 83 degrees. I told Gail we needed to pack and hit the road.


We were at the doctors for over 2 hours. Apparently, everyone decided today was the day to be sick.

Emma checked out all good. Her pediatrician did recommend that we have a talk with Em's teacher about making sure that Em doesn't play the role of teacher's pet. She is fearful that Emma is afraid to disappoint her teacher so she agrees to help out a bit "too much" during class time and therefore alienating herself from the kids in her class. Did I mention how much I love their pediatrician. She took the time to talk with Emma about all facets of her life and got this from their conversation. Emma had not mentioned really having any difficulties with the kids in her class so I was caught a bit off guard. I knew that Emma likes being the helper but I had no idea.

Lucy showed her true colors today. She was in rare form, mostly from being tired and having to wait so long. Her one ear has not completely cleared up so we are to go back in a month. And her height is in the 15th%, it was in the 25th so she is a tad concerned and will keep a close eye on that over the next year. But all else is good!!

I decided to skip WW tonight as I didn't want to be rushing around since I didn't get home until 5pm. I think I will weigh in on Friday and at least see where I stand for the week. I am scarfing down dinner as I need to leave in the next 1/2 hour to meet up with my girlfriends. I am not thrilled that we are going out tonight but excited to spend the evening with them.

Joe's got Paris pics and one of him and Jay up on Facebook. I talked to him today. Said he had a great time and enjoyed just sort of relaxing. He said that he had no desire to go out and party. I think that's a very good sign

That was probably the quickest interview I have ever had. I will know by Monday at 5. There were the professional interviewer and the co-directors of the company. I am not sure I answered their questions properly.....so maybe I have the job.

Good Morning,

Sounds like everyone is dealing with some rough weather.

I'm sitting here waiting on my pain meds to kick in, thanks to my irrational fear of the dentist I am now minus a tooth.

I don't have a fear of the Dentist, but I have still lost a few. Hope you are better soon

I think I've told you before that we live in "twinland." On our street alone there are 3 sets of twins, and another 2 sets in the next street over. All the twin moms I've spoken to, say that this is really common.

I commented on both his album and the pic of him and Jay. Jay actually has already noticed that I know Joe, but I pretended to think his comment about "friends in common" was referring to all of the AIDS walk people we both have on our "friends" list. That is a good sign that he had fun without going overboard!

I think I would love the job!! When I went into the office all three of them were sitting in the reception area..startled me....so I said "I am a little early"...they went around and introduced themselves and before I could get a chance to say who I was the lady co-director said "Welcome, little early" The male co-director said "Forgive the smart remarker" I said that's okay I like smarty pants. I was happy to start off on a funny note.

I just talked to my dad--we ended up being at the firehouse from about 10 this morning til about 3..i then left and got him some dry/clean clothes and he was supposed to be work tonight anyway. He just called me and told me that 5 firemen were sent to the hospital--not too seriously injured and i know one is at least on the way home..but it was a bit freaky hearing about it.

I know they are still at the scene checking for hotspots--this fire has been going on since 10am! nw dad is there overnight..ugh
