DDA Chapter 17

It sounds like a great day. We had a little more snow over here, apparently! We measured it on my car before I went out and there was somewhere between 3-4 inches on it! Our grass was covered too. :confused3

We sound like Amy and Jennifer. The only thing is, we live about a mile apart as the crow flies!

That's funny! We actually live much farther apart, probably closer to 10 miles as the crow flies. The biggest difference is just development and landscape though. Amy and Kevin's town certainly is far from urban, but it's a lot closer to the city (the 10 miles is almost all North) than ours. And Elin, you know how the city is for the most part -- big hills downtown, former flat farms as you go out towards Dayton. Add in the number of buildings, etc and it's remarkable how different "the city" of Cincinnati (metro area) can be as far as snowfall. If we get 10 inches, you can bet just inside 275 (Kevin & Amy) got probably 3-5, and downtown got a dusting. :confused3 I remember a time last year that we got 4 inches and 2 miles away from us, people never saw a single snowflake!

Let's see...
-because their boots are a little big, so I figured some extra padding would help and...
-it was only 20 degrees, and I'm a fan of warm feet (I had three pairs of socks on and I still do :) ) and...
-it was fun to just keep putting socks on them. :teeth:

And I'm bare-footed! I hate socks! :upsidedow

I will be sure to relay all your good thoughts to Julie...thank you!

I do think it's amusing that we're all using this pixie dust guy now pixiedust: instead of this guy :wizard: because they moved the smilies around. I will have to remember that this guy :wizard: is named wizard with two colons since half the time I type out the names of the smilies! :teeth:

I do the same thing, since they always move them! I think he's just one colon on each side though, not two. (Unless you were saying 2 total, which is correct :teeth:)

I'm enjoying the TR too, Elin!

On EE is it a fast take off one like RnR? I can't handle those ones, they play with my equilibrium for 2 days and I'd rather not spend the small amount of time I do have being dizzy all day. LOL

I am soo looking forward to riding Expedition Everest again. It had just opened up before my last trip. The first and only time I rode it, I had been on antibiotics that had me dizzy all the time and super sun sensitive. I am a thrill ride junkie, but I did not get along well with this ride. Then again that trip space mountain and BTMRR as well as several of my other favorites did me in too.

My Mom on the other hand who normally affected by motion sickness had no issues with this ride.

Good luck if you chose to ride. The queue is really neatly decorated and the Yeti is awesome.

And I'm bare-footed! I hate socks! :upsidedow

Sometimes I even sleep in them! :teeth:

We're headed to Red Robin tomorrow night to redeem my birthday burger if you want to join us for an early dinner (5ish since Noah is not much fun after 6 p.m.).

I always use the pixiedust: guy (because I type them out most of the time as well and he is called pixiedust). I used to use :tink: but don't so much anymore.

 :faint:

I can't do it. I don't care if we're camping and it's freezing, I can't sleep in socks.

I might take you up on that offer, although it would depend largely on whether Kyle's head hits the pillow at all tonight. He's 0 for 7 call nights in doing so....

(Did I mention how excited I am that this rotation is almost past us?!)

Maybe. To be honest, I don't recall the pace listed anywhere else. That's kind of sneaky, for anyone NOT reading about strollers! :rotfl:

Yep, I missed the pace time on the paperwork as well.

Just hope I can stay under the time.

LOL! Yes, that's what I meant! :rotfl:

Ok, then. Some of them are two colons on each side, like this guy ::yes::

Nearly every time I type him out, I first type ::yess:: ... my fingers move much faster than my brain! :p

Omar....our somewhat deranged but very fun Breathless boat driver....he was so busy telling us facts...that we almost crashed into a ferry. Bill has still not recovered from the incident :rotfl:

:rotfl2: poor, poor Bill.

I've been instructed to post these here.... :)

I bet they liked it too!

Awwww! :goodvibes

Poor Noah...I waited until he was napping before I took Alyssa and Matty out.

Kevin is home from council...yay!

Hope everyone has a good night! :grouphug:
