Actually no I never did, John tried them and just didn't like them so I never bothered to try. I know everyone is different but we both have a pretty bad astigmatism in the left eye. Would that make a difference?

I don't. I've worn contacts since I was 8 (my dad worked in the business). I am close to legally blind, and even with today's technology, glasses are Coke bottles for me. Contacts changed my life.

Have you ever looked at getting any?

I know exactly what you are saying... those ice blue eyes are so striking, but with his dark hair he is a little eerie and gives me the creeps.

Marci I am enjoying your trip report & happy to hear you were able to switch rooms!

I am still feeling like crap. Like Deb my whole body aches, my stomach is cramping, my head is pounding, & I can't keep warm. Hopefully tomorrow will be a different story.

The vet just called & Blue has asthma which is what I was fearing. I will find out more when I go pick her up.

That is what I think our one cat has. Ella really gets going with a wicked cough and it sure sounds like she wants to gack up something horrible. The Vet was trying to figure what allergies she has. The only problem is giving her medicine. She is the worst of them to give meds to.

I have an astigmatism in both eyes and tried contacts ONCE...I just couldn't stick myself in the eyes.

I called the asst. principal and told him my concerns.

ExMomboss isn't happy with the way the school has handled things, but she says for now we are just going to see how it goes. If they want to question DS again she said to call her.



I think I am going to tell DH to go inside the band room to get DS so he isn't walking through the halls all alone after practice. Better paranoid than sorry.

This is a good plan.

I forgot to mention that Mr. Driscol used to be a lifeguard at Blizzard Beach. Hunter has had long conversations with him about it. He wisked his girlfriend (another teacher at the school) away for a surprise 4 day vaca at WDW for her birthday earlier this month. He is really a very nice guy.

I can see why you would feel comfortable going up and asking him what the h@ll he was thinking, Deb. Sounds like he is the perfect candidate for the teaching profession!

I woke up this morning and was feeling sick to my stomach. I kept burping and was hoping I would not end up getting really sick. I finally went home and immediately fell asleep. I was supposed to go to my DD's for Pot Pie and see my youngest. Instead, I am here sleeping off and on. I really must get better so I can go to the party tomorrow.

Marci-what a wonderful trip report. Do you always have a tour guide for Disney?? What a great way to see the World.

Becky-I am so glad you are going on a trip. I just got an email this morning that includes your dates with a $500 GC after booking.

Too bad I never get a pin code. Then again I haven't been to WDW since 2006.

I am not sure where I am staying initially I was thinking about staying with a friend and then a few days off site. But I would have to pay parking and for Disney tickets, unless I could work it out with my friends that work there to get in. But with the buy 4 get 3 it is not that much more money, plus I would get the $200 gift card and I would not need to depend on someone else to get me into the park or worry about staying there and disturbing their schedule. I need to decide by tomorrow if I want to do the package special as it is the last day to book it. If I do I would stay at Pop or All Stars.
