DDA Chapter 17

Jennifer sorry that Avery had some issues last night  is there any chance for a nap today?

Well, for them definitely. They should go down around 9 still, hopefully she'll sleep well then. For me? Hopefully. I'm bad at it though. When they go down, I find 10 million things that need done, and then they're awake!

I was thinking its a good thing princess likes DS, or she could of threw a tantrum that would have made you even later.

I told her yesterday morning that we would go get him at lunch time. She wanted to go get him right then, and it wasn't even 9 AM yet. :rotfl2: I guess she had just been couting the minutes 'til lunch, so she was really irked that I was going to leave DS at school.

Lindsay - The house is directly north of Royal Oaks Country Club off of Greenville. We know people who live on the east side of Greenville, but the house is on the west side. We are going to go see it on Saturday, but we might have to drive by and scope out the neighborhood tomorrow.
I haven't complained about The Knocker in months, so I doubt they will accept that as a reason for us to move out. :rotfl2: The Knocker might be willing to pay the fee for us if it means DS and his drum will go away, though! :lmao:

I spoke to my mom this evening and everything went OK with her first radiation treatment. :thumbsup2 Hopefully the cumulative effects won't be too horrible.

Stephanie - Good thoughts to your friend. What a sad thing to go through.

That is terrific news about your Mom. I definitely think a drive by is in order. That would be terrific if this works out. :wizard: What did you find out about the date you've picked for the party?

Steffy -- My heart is breaking for your BFF. I remember only too well what that's like. I'm sending prayers to him. And I ditto your thoughts.

Deb -- more PD and prayers for Hunter and the doc appt.

Lindsay -- you've earned some slower days. I hope the computer is back up and running ASAP.

Elizabeth -- you heard my story about forgetting the boys on Friday's (their early day each week). I now have an alarm on my blackberry. Yeah for Princess for remembering!

I finally uploaded some pics to photobucket... actually a lot of pics and started writing a rather long report. I hope to have time to start posting some of it later today.

I managed to get by the mall to pick up some clothes for Randy for his birthday and wrapped them before he got home. We'll give them to him after he gets home today. My SIL is doing a meatloaf, and I'm picking up a key lime pie from one of my fav bakeries. We have dinner ressies on Saturday for a steak place we've never been to, so hopefully that will go well. I need to talk to Randy's BFF's wife to start planning for the birthday's next year. All of Randy's college buddies we've stayed close to will be turning 50, and we're trying to do some type of trip.

I had some of Jake's birthday cake yesterday, so I sorty of derailed the food part of my healthier lifestyle, but I did stay on the elliptical for 30 minutes. I've really got to do both things more consistently.

Have a good day everyone!

Marci - The calendar I found when I Googled "UIL Solo & Ensemble" had stuff listed for the next 4 Saturdays in a row. I have no idea if the kids have to go all day every one of those days or if they are grouped by instrument or what. :confused3 The mom who mentioned it said she will dig out her calendar and let me know when the boys from our school have to compete. I saw a littel girl with a second semester band calendar at the holiday program, but I never figured out where she got it. I also didn't know it would be really important!

DH is off today so we are going to drive by the house after I take Princess to school. :)

Stephanie - I'm with you, too. No feeding tube. That would just become a long, slow death.

Elizabeth - glad to hear your mom is doing well today.

Deb - good luck at the appt. today.

A perfectly ditto-able post, Tammi... thanks!

PD and good thoughts for everyone.

Good Morning All

Thanks for all the well wishes for Hunter. I hope they can give us some insight into his dizziness.

Yay! Middle school band competition isn't until the middle of February! That's one less thing to contend with!

Happy Birthday to Randy! :dance3:

Theresa - :wizard: on the job aspect!

I could use some ear candling. Mine are always plugges up and I hate drs. so no wax removal in my future.

Thanks for keeping it down today. I'm coming down with a head cold. It's just one thing after another this winter. We've tuned into American Idol tonight. The auditions have started.

I really like Debrox. I found it at Walgreens...it's what the dr. suggested. I've only had it removed once in the dr.'s office and they gave up after a half hour.

thanks for the dittoable!! How are you doing this morning?

If anybody is on this morning...what should I wear to this interview/meeting? The company is an electrical company that is situated on 2 acres of big rig equipment and the office is a trailer. I am thinking I don't want to be overdressed in a dress/suit.

I don't know much about fashion or interviewing, but I would think that you would want to wear a dress/suit for an interview even if the day-to-day dress would be much casualer. Take that with a grain of salt, though, because I really don't know.

Oh, and much, much pixiedust: to you!!!!

No matter what you are wearing, go in there with confidence, and know that the entire DDA is backing you up!

I have to run to a staff meeting.

Have a great day, DDA!
