DDA Chapter 17

We will add points eventually, but not for a few years. DH is griping at me about borrowing our points from the next year, but I figure we'll do that for awhile and then add points in the future. We may even end up taking a year off (which pains me to think about). We are going to have to replace our living room furniture at some point, so that will mean skipping a year of WDW.

Yup. Here too! Of course, I'm doing good to have mine in bed by 10. Sometimes it's 11 or 12. I'd be a night owl too if I had a choice, but work hours just don't permit. :upsidedow
 
Daniel is arguing :mic: that he wants to stay up & watch the whole Superbowl. He gets up ay 6am so I said no...Of those of you who have kids his age or so (he's 9) how long are you letting them stay up? Should I let him stay up????:confused3

I weighed in this morning. I survived the first month of my healthier life and managed not to get derailed at all. That being said I "only" lost about 7 lbs. My goal for the month was to reach 150 lbs, but I'm still 1.6 lbs away from that goal. At least I'm that much closer. My goal for each of the upcoming months is a 5 lbs per month loss. I also plan to start a regular exercise program on Feb 9. I'm actually very excited about this. I have to wonder if it will effect my weight loss as muscle is heavier than fat, but only time will tell. My overall goal for this year is to be in the best shape of my life by my 40th birthday in September. I've given myself plenty of time so i just need to keep picking away at that goal. At least I feel like I'm making the right choices and taking baby steps :thumbsup2

I can't wait to hear how all of you are doing. Your support here means more than you will ever know.

I started WW on my own this week and am happy to report that I lost 3.4 pounds this week.

You both are doing awesome!!!! I didn't officially weigh in this week but am down 2lbs on my scale.

Last night Gail and I had a WW friendly party. She made up a batch of 1 point Margaritas, I thought they were fabulous. And we had some fresh salsa, WW multigrain chips & pretzel crisps (2 packs of the pretzels), the Laughing Cow skinny cheese wedges (4 of those) and FF Pringles (15). My total plate and drinks was 15 points.

Mother Nature is being very cruel to us. It is 64 here now, which is a great thing. However, we are supposed to get a snowstorm on Tuesday, with a high only of 31.

I really don't want the snow but if it gives me a day or 2 off then I'll take it.

From what I remember, it is Diet Sierra Mist or Sprite, the diet lemonade mix ins, real lime juice and a shot of tequila. I don't know exact measurements but I'll get the recipe from Gail tomorrow. I thought it was really good.
 
Nicholas gave up fighting Mr. Sandman and decided to go to bed. I had to promise to wake him up and tell him who won.
