I just did something really stupid. Our dog got my address book which had slipped off my computer desk and ran with it behind the couch, so I reached down to get it from her and she nipped at me. I think I scared her because that is highly unusual behavior for her. But she got me pretty good. I have abrasions and some bleeding and bruising. No punctures but it hurts and will be real pretty for my kids to look at over the next week or so!

Animal Kingdom day:

I also made a journal for Leighanna to write comments, add photos, autographs, and trinkets in. She will share this with her class when she gets back.

I just spent the evening at a Coast Dis Meet, it was really nice.

Heidi, you'll be glad to know that I didn't go to the party, I showed my DD what you wrote and she gave you a thumbs up!

That is a bit scary. I certainly hope it is an isolated incident.

It will be, one way or another. Bob is furious, but I reminded him that she is an animal reacting on instinct. We will certainly keep an eye on her behavior. I will be talking to the vet this week anyway since we are waiting on her electrolyte test results, so that will be a new topic of conversation too.
