We had a good time. That is what I ended up doing as well as doing an inventory of their liquor downstairs, changing the curtains in the kitchen and her bedroom and a couple of other miscellaneous things. I always enjoy going over there and helping her out. It's hard to believe that we spent the 1st 10 years of my marriage not really getting along.

I am glad you enjoyed your time with your MIL, Vicki!

I have finally opened all my Christmas presents and Christmas cards. Thanks to all of you who had the time to send them out. We have enjoyed looking at the lovely cards and wonderful pictures you sent.

So today has been long. I left here at 7am, to go to the event. I expected to stay a short time, but was supposed to meet someone. I was told after I was there they were not coming till the end. They were going to call if they were not coming. Well I stayed the whole time till noon and they never showed up.

I wanted to not stay that long so I could get to at least one of the two funerals. I knew they were having a luncheon starting around 1:30pm. I got home around 2pm. Turns out it hadn't started yet. So I quickly changed and left to go to the funeral luncheon for both of them. I got home after 4pm.

Have been trying to clean and accomplish something but have not been successful so here I am and watching Charlie Brown.

I can't believe this. I bought John some new tighty whites and after washing and drying them, I went to put them away and they are too small. The package says medium but they are smalls.

He doesn't like vanilla BEAN, just vanilla. I like vanilla bean.

I spent a lot of "me" time taking photos. I walked around POFQ three mornings and took 200-300 photos which I then gleaned down to approximately 120. I spent time doing things that not everyone does at WDW. I rode very few rides.... probably less than 10! But I spent time in the parks and in our resort soaking up the feel of WDW which is what I miss most when I come home.

We also spent a lot of time just sitting around talking and laughing. We could have done that anywhere, but we all agreed that we were very happy to be in WDW to spend quality family holiday time.

I truly understand that Elin. When I went to WDW in October with my other grilfriend, we didn't do many rides at all! But we enjoyed ourselves so much. Just walking in to the MK, doing 2 rides, going to get a Dole Whip and just sitting on Main Street people watching and looking at my beloved castle. Just soaking it all up. My friend enjoyed herself so much she bought AKL.

Glynis - Thanks for the house hunting advice. I think that's going to be a big one for me. I see pictures of what I want in my head and can be pretty on them. I've got to remember to keep an open mind. I can always do exactly what I want if we ever get to build our own house like we'd like to. Have a nice celebration tomorrow. It sounds like a great meal planned.

Deb - Hope you can get some things marked off your list soon, enough to make you feel better about your progress.

My brother called me today asking about the discounts Disney is offering right now. He said he was thinking of going Mar. 1st - 5th. I told him Gary & I were planning on going the 4th - 11th. My brother is now booked for the same time frame with the 4/3 deal

I have not been to Disney with my brother since 2000, so I am really looking forward to this. We won't spend all of our time together, but we will share a few meals. He also has a new girlfriend & she is a Disney nut just like the rest of us

He was thinking of driving, but after I told him how much flights were he realized that it would be cheaper to fly. So if he does this we will all be on the same flights as well!
