Good Morning DDA And a joyous day to everyone.

I am so happy to have a 'family' that loves Disney as much as I do. :goodvibes

Merry Christmas DDA Friends!

We are currently watching the Disney Parade. Presents are open, Becky is putting together her Lego set, Katrina is relaxing on the couch getting ready for our scrapbooking, Chuck & I are resting before we have to start breakfast - homemade waffles.

Yes it is!
She loves that Santa. We bring it out every year. I remember when she was just starting to walk and she would giggle and dance to it. It was so funny to see her shaking her little tushie!
It is not Christmas in our house without our Jingle Bell Rock Santa!

How funny! We like our Santa. :goodvibes

Glad everyone is having fun this morning! DH likes his new watch. DS likes his drumming instructional kit (but it is too early in the morning for him to really DRUM). We haven't tackled the Wii Fit yet.

The Clinique skin care stuff I bought is the WRONG formula, so I am not terribly pleased about that. I am going to Macy's at 6 AM tomorrow and they better not be sold out of the correct products! I never read the box - I specifically told the lady I wanted the one for OILY skin. :sad2: The package has travel sizes of all 3 products, which is why I bought it. The one for oily skin NEVER comes in the gift-with-purchase so there are NEVER travel sizes of the soap or moisturizer. Grr. :headache:

Anyone know the airport that you fly into for Disneyland? I'm considering going there for the 1/2 Marathon in Sept. 2009. I wanted to look at airfare costs so I can see if it is even feasible.

Santa has come and gone, along with my parents. The girls were very excited over what Santa left for them, even if it wasn't exactly what they asked for.

From Santa, Emma and Mo each got an Ipod. Em, a nano and Mo, a shuffle. He also left them new rings under the trees in their rooms. Em's is a sterling silver birthstone ring and Mo's is a handmade initial ring. Together they got Pixos, the old Aqua Dots. Em got a trunk for her American Girl clothes and Mo a few Barbie PeekaBoos. Lucy got a princess chair and xylophone. A few small gifts from us rounded out their stash, a Rubik's Cube, Etch a Sketch and a Chatterbox phone. My parents got them a bunch of Hallmark ornaments, clothes, necessities (like socks and underwear) and a few small fun gifts. Lucy also got her locket from my dad, a tradition that started with my grandfather.

But I think the best Christmas present I got is that I don't have to have surgery. My jaw, while still swollen, is almost normal. I feel like a normal human being again. No pain meds since last night. I am sure I've turned the corner. :yay:

Here is a pic of the girls from last night in their new pj's.

I'll post a few more pics once I get them downloaded off the camera. We are headed to Gail's for a few minutes to give her her goodies. We have decided to stay home today and just hang out. Eric will be cooking our Christmas dinner.

I got one of the best gifts today! a friend of mine is in Iraq and I usually get emails once a day or so. I havent heard from him in almost 2 weeks and I was getting worried. I had a great christmas morning, came in my room and starting putting thinsg away. I was thinking this ist he best christmas, but I need to hear from him and it would be perfect.

20 minutes ago, i got an email from him! Im so relieved--that was the best gift!

Santa Ana/Orange County (SNA) is the closest. You can also easily fly in to LAX, Long Beach or Ontario. All are about equal distance and easy to get from. LAX has lots of shuttle options, as does SNA. The others would have Super Shuttle, but a rental might be easier all around depending on what you plan to do around the area.

Santa visited here as well! :santa: Terra was thrilled with her Ponyville Amusement Park. She was also really excited as Santa knew that she wanted some Domo toys (the monster guy from the Target's Halloween displays), a white rubber duck she saw at Bath and Body Works, and some makeup (since I wouldn't buy her any at Bare Essentials last week :rotfl: ). Yesterday morning she opened the Club Penguin Puffle sticker book from us. She has, of course, already finished putting all of the stickers in it. Last night she got some Pet Shop animals from our friends' grandma. We each got matching haversacks that my friend Michelle made for us. They are so cool and the perfect sizes and colors.

We're still waiting for Phil to get here so she hasn't opened any more from us yet. I'm not sure when they'll be here. Apparently Phil didn't find it a good idea to talk it over with Tom last night and make a plan. He called me after he got to Tom's house to ask what and when everything was happening. I figured that meant he was going to turn and talk to Tom about what they wanted to do. He woke up about 15 minutes after I suggested being here and with no plan. So I ended up suggesting they just come over when they were both up and ready to go to his sister's house that way I didn't have to try to figure out what he was thinking/wanted/etc. I just don't get him sometimes.

So, now Michelle and fam are getting ready to leave for her aunt's. Terra and I will hang out and play the Wii and hope that someone comes to pick us up to go my SIL's. The good thing though, I know good food is coming at SIL's. There's always something good there - usually filet minon or really yummy prime rib. :yay:

Sounds like Santa's been good to us all! I hope you have wonderful days everyone.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

It's good to hear how everyone is enjoying their day. We had a fun but short Christmas here. I woke up before the kids and was able to get showered and cleaned up before the fun started. Alyssa was halfway down the stairs when she let out a gasp after seeing her dollhouse. They both got several Wii games and pixos (must be the thing this year Robyn ;)). Alyssa also got a Baby Alive doll, NOT the one that poops!, new markers and paper, a password journal (so she can write her secrets ), GGGGemz, books, and a few other little things. Nicholas got a Star Wars accessory pack for his DS, Cranium and Sorry Sliders, a light saber attachment for the Wii controller, a butterfly garden, a Pokemon ball, cards and card holder portfolio thing. All in all I think they were very pleased. Plus they'll get more with their dad and when my parents come down.

We made it to 10:30 Mass, which apparently is the time to go. We got there early thinking it was really going to be crowded, but the parking lot was empty. So we sat in the car awhile and talked to my parents on the phone. I guess everyone goes to church on Christmas Eve so they get to stay home and play in the morning. Alyssa is still not eating. I think that is most of her problem. He poor tummy is empty and when she does eat is starts gurgling around, and she thinks it hurts. Poor thing is weak from not getting nutrition.

Oh and Santa forgot to put out one of Alyssa's presents, the box of all the dollhouse furniture. I was thinking about that on the way to church, so when we came home I sent the kids upstairs to change their clothes. Santa was then able to retrieve said package and place it under the tree. The kids were so tickled when they discovered it. We've decided that after Santa made his last delivery over in Hawaii he discovered Alyssa's package and had to return to our house. ;)

Now the kids have gone with their dad, I've cleaned up the living room and put 2 bags of trash out in the bin. I took all of the kids' stuff out of it's packaging so everything will be ready to play with when they get home. Bob gave Alyssa an MP3 player, so I'm going to load that with songs for her.

Enjoy your day everyone!

And why is it warmer on Christmas than it was on Easter? :confused3 We were able to go to church with only sweaters on. No coats needed.
