O I know, we sat at the very top and watched people get soaked and some were surprised. John is like well you idiot the sign does say splash zone!

Just remember when they say Splash zone they are not kidding! We found out the hard way in San Antonio, killed my new camera too.

I returned from my 12 days at Disney not one iota into the Christmas spirit. I have had 3 horrid days at work. I have a huge stack of mail that I haven't even opened. My suitcases are sitting in the hall still unpacked.

BUT I'M IN THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT NOW!!!!!

I stood in line for 45 minutes to send off my ornament exchange. And saw smiling faces waiting to mail their packages and mail their cards. And I was filled with Christmas spirit. Santa is going to come afterall!!! I came home and ordered my Christmas cards.

I'm off to Wal Mart and if I can't find my gift for my grandsons there, off to the mall! The mall is a madhouse. My DD is there. The line to see Santa is 3 hours long.

Christmas is coming afterall!!! I've got to get butter to make cookies tonight. Gotta get a log for the fireplace. Hot cocco!! Chritstmas will soon be here!!!!!

We went to the grocery store, which wasn't that bad. My menu has now changed from prime rib to ham. Then we went to get Nicholas' hair trimmed. Guess who decided she wanted her hair cut while we were there. It was VERY traumatic for me to let Rene cut all that hair off, AND give her bangs, but I survived. She has to live with it, right? Plus it will grow back, right? It's supposed to come to points in the front, but we need to work with it a bit. This was with my cell camera, so not the best quality.

Oh and a package came from Terra for Alyssa. She loves the Chip and Dale ornament. Thank you so much! I'll post pictures later.

I'm glad that you found your Christmas Spirit. Hopefully mine will show up soon The shopping, wrapping and decorating are all done, but I haven't planned any meals or baked a thing. I'm sure it will all work out. Tomorrow I will grocery shop so I need to come up with a menu before then. I will get my house all picked up tomorrow too. That will just leave fun for the rest of the week...right?

I hope you find yours soon Deb. Now that the boys are done with school for awhile, that should relieve a tiny bit of stress. I hope. I haven't done much menu planning either. I was originally going to fix prime rib, but I've never done that before and chickened out. Actually, I hammed out. So we are having ham. I would love to have green bean casserole, but kids won't eat it. Only plain beans. So I opted for veggie medley (broccoli, cauliflower and carrots), sweet potatos, cranberries (that only Bob and I will eat), rolls and a salad. Nothing real festive, but I know it will get eaten.

No laptop! We are going to try for the 1:50 flight instead of our 3:05 one. That way it won't be too bad if we don't get it. I don't think trying to get up there for an 8:30 flight is a good idea considering they are supposed to get some ice and sleet about the time we would need to be on the road.

Ashley will take her to work both days and pick her up on Monday night. She is going to ask her boss for a ride home on Tuesday night (it has been offered many times and she has never taken her up on it).

From the resorts board:

Just after 10:00 PM while my family and I were in the Atrium Club lounge and we noticed a lot of police cars, ambulances and helicopters. Well we found out that a Disney Transport bus going to Downtown Disney hit a van that was dropping some people off and a woman was pinned under the bus. How that van was there I have no clue because that area was reserved only for Disney buses. Then we went outside and a bunch of Orlando police cars blocked off the bus entrances so they are forced to drop off guests in front of the main entrance.
