I probably missed you, but have a wonderful time.

Good morning, DDA!

(I'm going to WDW tomorrow!)

Of our 8 days in Feb. we are taking a day out and going to Sea World. We have been once before but want to go again.

Just remember when they say Splash zone they are not kidding! :lmao: We found out the hard way in San Antonio, killed my new camera too.

that's for sure....the kids insisted on sitting in that section....I felt like someone threw a huge bucket of water on top of my head. I wouldn't do that again

Jennifer - I hope Jeff got a catnap and has a chance to sleep a lot today while you are at the birthday party!

Deb - Your snowstorm sounds like no fun to me. I am glad you got home just fine last night. Also, I agree with Debbie... sounds like you could possibly be starting menopause. But I would ask your doctor too. (FWIW - Mine told me "no" but he was wrong!)

well they got done early he was home at 330. He was planing to go to Fiesta Texas with us. So now he got plenty of sleep

Deb it does sound like you might be in the early stages. Maybe a visit to the Dr. could help confirm this for you. Glad you made it home safely!

Jennifer I looked in one store & then I forgot to look elsewhere, sorry :flower3: I do see a few of the pink rangers on Ebay though.

okay

Stay safe on the roads, Vicki & Deb! :wizard:

I finally fugured out what was making our bank account wonky (forgot to write down the debit for Princess's present!), so I am headed out for a bit of shopping.

I am also sending DH and DS out to shop. We'll see how that goes. :rolleyes1

Tammi & Glynis - Thank you for the cards! :)

So this may sound like a strange question, but is 39 years old too young to be starting menopause? Here's my thinking.

Emotional
moody
forgetful
definite change in hormones
changes in monthly cycle

I totally feel like I'm out of whack lately. I cry at the drop of a hat, good or bad. I have never in my life been so forgetful as I have over the last couple of months. Oh, lets not forget hot flashes. I've always been cold natured, but lately there are times that I want to throw the windows open. I really notice it at night. I can go from freezing to tossing covers off several times during the night. I'm also having more difficulty sleeping.

Maybe I'm crazy or maybe I'm going start early :confused3

you could be starting perimenopause....the stuff leading up to the big game!!

I looked on ebay and most of what I am finding are costumes. I guess I should have tried them a month ago. Their are a couple that I will watch but not sure if I will win them,

Tammi's link confirmed what my doctor told me. Basically, you just need to take care of yourself. Keep your environment cool, wear layers, eat right, exercise, do breathing exercises and have a good support network. Thanks DDA for being my support through the emotional roller coaster!

That's what I'm doing. I really think that it has begun. Hopefully I will be able to cope without meds. My mother tried meds at one point and she felt worse. We'll see. I'm so not looking forward to the next decade :sad2:

We're home from bowling. Santa came and gave each kid a little backpack with the league name on it. It is made of that recycled paper cloth material that the "green" shopping bags are made of. It is a lot like the DVC beach backpacks that are handed out. They were telling the kids that they can carry their bowling balls in them :rotfl: Somehow I don't think those shoestring straps held by a knot through an eyelet will hold a 12 lb bowling ball.

It is still snowing here. Thankfully it is big flakes and doesn't seem to be accumulating too quickly. We probably got an inch over the last 3 hours. I'm in for the afternoon, then I will go to work. We did see a truck off the road on our way home a few minutes ago. I did a bit of sliding with the truck too. It is actually slipperier now than it was yesterday.

I've got 2 different types of cookie dough (cut out dough and dough for pecan cups) made and in the fridge. Now I have to run to the grocery store because I bought walnuts instead of pecans. DUH! Nicholas and I just finished moving his clothes from the old furniture into the new. Now he has enough drawer space to leave summer AND winter clothes all year long. I used to have to rotate them. There are even a few empty drawers. Room to grow!

We only sat a couple of rows into the splash zone so I thought we might get a little wet, boy was I wrong.

Have a great time.

Good luck at the store. I've heard that all of the stores around here have huge lines. Apparently today is the biggest shopping day. Thankfully I don't need to shop. Tomorrow I will hit a grocery store before the next storm starts. We need bread and milk.

I called Bernadette this morning. They are busy getting ready for Christmas. They're hoping to get their tree up today. We are hoping to get together at a museum after Disney on Ice next Friday. Now I need to buy tickets and firm up our plans :rotfl: A little Boston DDA meet :goodvibes

I probably missed you, but have a wonderful time.

You haven't missed me! We leave tomorrow morning. Unless it looks like Baltimore will be getting some ice early tomorrow morning. If that is the case we may leave this evening. I will certainly come on here and say goodbye before we leave!

I don't know! Why not try and let me know. :lmao:
I'm going to. I just need to find a smaller pan to bake them in. I don't know why I feel the need to bake all these cookies. The kids don't eat them. I DO! Just what I need.

Use a cake pan!

I'm going into cookie withdrawal here, but alas there will be no cookie baking. We did make a couple of batched of Glynis's oreo truffles but they have already been given away.

Debbie do you have the oreo truffle recipe handy? Anyone?
