Alrighty. I must go to bed or I will not want to get up.

I was right. My insurance claim was denied. Next time I will know to drench the entire basement in water. It seems that if the pump overflows a bit, but then the foundation leaks AROUND the house, which is what happened, it's not covered. But if the pump overflows soaking the ENTIRE room, then it would be covered. Does that make sense?

Does anything about insurance make sense? I am sorry they denied the claim! :headache:

I appear to have a whole page to myself in our new home! :teeth:

I am finished. All recitals are completed and the students played magnificently. I have so many presents that need to be opened, but I think I will wait until after Kristin brings me some dinner. She texted me from Ruby Tuesday and asked what I wanted. I am starving so I hope she comes home soon with my dinner surprise!

Mmm. Ruby Tuesday's! :)

I need to weed through all my clothing choices that are in the suitcase. I know I don't need everything I put in there so I need to be smart and remove about 1/4 of it. And I need to push Bob to get his stuff in his suitcase too. Looks like he washed all long-sleeved shirts and jeans to take. I think we need to have a discussion about the forecast!

No, no, no! You don't take clothes OUT of the suitcase! :scared1:
If you want to guarantee it will be nice weather then you allow Bob to pack all jeans and long sleeves. :rolleyes1

MyBob and Bethany left today for WV to visit his mom. They'll be back Tuesday. I get the whole weekend with just the kids and I. I think we will do some cookie baking.

Have fun! Momboss is baking cookies with Princess tomorrow.

I just got home. I finished up my day at work and went straight to babysit. Now I am awake because I was dozing on the couch from about 9 PM - 11 PM. I am trying to decide if I want to have some sort of snack or drink before I go to bed.

Good Morning DDA,

It's been another crazy whirlwind week, nothing unusual.

Thanks to Deb, Kristine, Elizabeth, Marci and Jen for the cards. Becky and Karen your cards were returned to me so I don't have the correct addresses for you.

Jennifer could you please send me the invite to the document?

Tammi - Sorry to hear about your flood and the following insurance issues. We've never lived in a house with a basement so I'm not familiar at all with sump pumps and the like.

Janet - I'm glad you're ok, that looked like a really nasty fire, thank goodness the gas tanks didn't explode. Congrats on the kitchen being so close to completion.

Elin - Have a Magical Christmas at Disney, take lots of pictures!

Deb it does sound like you might be in the early stages. Maybe a visit to the Dr. could help confirm this for you. Glad you made it home safely!

Jennifer I looked in one store & then I forgot to look elsewhere, sorry :flower3: I do see a few of the pink rangers on Ebay though.

Good morning, DDA!

(I'm going to WDW tomorrow!)

Jennifer - I hope Jeff got a catnap and has a chance to sleep a lot today while you are at the birthday party!

Deb - Your snowstorm sounds like no fun to me. I am glad you got home just fine last night. Also, I agree with Debbie... sounds like you could possibly be starting menopause. But I would ask your doctor too. (FWIW - Mine told me "no" but he was wrong!)

I don't know how it happened but I am off for THREE days! In the land of retail that is unheard of this time of year. I think I'll put today to good use and make some plans for May.

We are planning to spend less time in the parks and more at the resort so there will be no dining plan, but I do need to decide on a few ADR's.

We plan on Chef Mickey's, Ohana for breakfast, T Rex, and Sci Fi for lunch. One day will be at Sea World with the VIP tour so we will be dining with Shamu.

Good morning, DDA!

(I'm going to WDW tomorrow!)

:cool1: :cool1:

We are gearing up for another foot of snow tomorrow  We got well over a foot yesterday and it hasn't completely stopped yet. There is no doubt that we'll have a white Christmas. I took some photos this morning, but I don't have time to post them until after bowling.

I just went out to start the truck. I'm thinking there is 18 inches out there. It is very light and fluffy snow, but there is certainly more than a foot. Heck we must have gotten 6 inches after I came in last night. I'm sure the boys will just have to go sledding today.

It is still too soon to make our ADR's due to the system upgrade, but I was able to make our Chef Mickey reservation so that is good :thumbsup2

Sledding sounds like fun Deb, you would have gotten a good laugh at all the excitement over the snow flurries we had here recently. :rotfl:

Deb - No you are not too young. Perimenopause symptoms start can start up to 10 years before the actual onset of menopause. A few months ago I thought I was having symptoms....leg cramps, hair loss, etc. So I did a lot of research on the web. If they were symptoms, they've left. You may want to talk to your doctor. But there are also a lot of home treatments as well. Here is a link to some info.

Good morning. :)

It was so nice to sleep in today.

Elin - We are so jealous. BTW, can I cut that recipe in half?

Deb, I asked the doctor about perimenopause in my early 40's and she told me that it is different for everyone and can start in late 30's for some. She said it was different for everyone. Basically, she told me there is nothing they do for it. I was also someone that was always cold so it has been quite strange being "hot" 1/2 the time. It was unheard of for me to wear short sleeves in the winter (or much of the summer if I'm honest). Now, I have to wear layers because I spend a good part of my time in short sleeves. It drives me crazy. Because, I get tired of putting on and taking off the layers.

Tammi's link confirmed what my doctor told me. Basically, you just need to take care of yourself. Keep your environment cool, wear layers, eat right, exercise, do breathing exercises and have a good support network. Thanks DDA for being my support through the emotional roller coaster!

Well, I'm able to head home today. There is a lull. Basically, there is a winter storm watch from 10pm tonight through 7am Monday morning for most of my way home. That's a sign! Vicki needs to get in gear and get home. Becky is down in Grand Rapids visiting her boyfriend. I called her and told her the same thing. She either heads home today (her original plan) or she wants until Monday or Tuesday.

I'm off to get a shower, get dressed, pack and hit the road. Have a great week-end DDA.

Before I go, I need to ask for some help. I have been on the road so much that I have not taken the time to pick up my depression medication. I'm doing ok because I am constantly moving because of the job. However, I'm not doing as well as I could be. Please follow-up with me to make sure I've picked it up by Monday. Thanks!

Kristine thank you for the Christmas card.
