Oh my goodness. I'm sorry that Bob is sick. I hope he gets better ASAP and that you don't get it.

We've been having a great time at WDW. It's incredibly crowded, and though I heard they had cancellations, it's hard to tell it. We came in early tonight, as we're exhausted. I'm sitting here DISing and listening to music from the lobby. Not a bad way to end the day.

We're at an awkward stage, since the kids are too little to do the whole clipboard thing, and Kevin and I just don't have enough hands between us to juggle big photobooks, etc.

I'll make something, but it's going to have to be simple. I'm determined to keep my sanity!

Here's a simple idea.

Use blank address labels and print a character clipart and the character name on each one. The purchase a blank book at WDW. As you see a character you can stick a sticker on the next page and then get the autograph and a photo. Attach the photo to the adjacent page and voilà, simple, custom and easy to juggle.

We didn't receive Tia's card at all, so I'm assuming:

a) She didn't think I was worthy of a Christmas card

or

b) My jerk of a mailman is hoarding it with all the other things he delivers way past the "please deliver by" dates and my Entertainment Weeklys that used to always arrive on Saturday, but now we're lucky to see them by Tuesday, because I swear he reads them and he's still mad that I didn't shovel the ice off the steps last winter when I was pregnant and Kevin was out of town

or

c) Our card was shredded beyond recognition

I want to take this moment to thank all of the DDA for their wonderful cards. I only received 5 cards from my non-DDA family.

I went and picked up my prize package....we are in a SUITE for the Av's game and the best part is that it came under the reporting for tax purposes limit by $5 so I don't have to pay taxes on it!! ETA: here's where we will be on the 29th! http://www.pepsicenter.com/suiterentals/suites.asp

Then I went to my interview with the staffing agency. It's a little one...2 employees but I have confidence in the lady. Even with my crappy keyboard I am typing at 37 WPM and I passed all the other tests with the accuracy I needed or expected...espescially since they were testing on an antiquated Windows Office Suite and didn't allow for shortcuts.

I picked this up last night http://www.hamiltonbeach.com/openstation-can-openers-open-station-can-opener.html with some of my birthday money (yes, my birthday is in July....my sister just sent a gc) I had a crappy old opener that saw it's better days about a decade ago. But it took 6 stores to find that one...who knew can openers were such a big Christmas present??

at the end of my interview I could hear It's a Small World in my brain....the interviewer grew up and went to Littleton High School and knows one of my old co-workers(and doesn't like him).

That is some digs ya got, kiddo! Take lots of pictures for us peons.

It was really good that I took that darn call. The internet was down, the fax machine needed attention and there was one other problem that only I could fix. So I went in for a few hours, fixed everything, and made my co-workers very happy.

Good for you. They will remember that you came in and helped them out of a jam!

I have no motivation to create autograph books for our trip. I was even looking at Ebay to see if I could buy something premade.

Doesn't WDW sell them? I say, use those!!

I know. She just second and third and fourth guesses herself. I'm just giving her a hard time, because she is the master of master planners. Actually I think it was Elin this past trip that was the big changer for the DDA. Or maybe that was her October trip, when she was originally doing the DDPDelux

I am guilty of changing ADRs for every trip. But only one or two. I also cancel ADRs that we won't be using and that always amazes the CMs I talk to.

it was a rough couple of days..mostly because Bill drove me crazy. He was spinning around the house like the Tasmanian Devil espousing about the world coming to an end....at one point all 4 kids and I were just starring at him speechless...then we all started laughing and he stomped off!!

Me either. I think we did books on our first 2 trips. Then they were like "I already have their autograph." Or "the line is too long." Now, they like seeing characters at the meals and that's enough. My babies are growing up!
