Two pieces of good news for our family so far today:

Kristin has tomorrow and Wednesday off... she will go with me.

Kathrin was offered a job! She is waiting to hear from two other companies but this is the one she was hoping to get. She would like a little more money than they are offering, but is hoping that her references and background check reveal that she is worth more without having to ask for it. She will make a final decision on Friday! FINALLY!

Woo Hoo!

I have no motivation to create autograph books for our trip. I was even looking at Ebay to see if I could buy something premade.

When will you know something?

probably next week....might be longer....as it's a staffing agency I can get a call any time for a position from temp to temp to hire or permanent placement.

Once the girls get back to school next week, I will put in at other agencies that Jennifer suggested (it's a bit odd she is telling to me to look at others but I was going to anyway).

What a great day it has been! I went to the dentist (okay, that is not the great part!) , then got a 90 minute massage (amazing!) and heard from my friend that is deployed--hes even going to try to call me tomrorow morning! im so excited

Actually, believe it or not, she is mild compared to some of the posts I have read. She is constantly rethinking what she wants to do but I don't think she changes them as often as she "rethinks". I've also been known to change a couple of mine.

I'm lacking motivation and inspiration...I think I've baked those things away this year!

I really should have worked on this project about 180 days ago.

I know. She just second and third and fourth guesses herself. I'm just giving her a hard time, because she is the master of master planners. Actually I think it was Elin this past trip that was the big changer for the DDA. Or maybe that was her October trip, when she was originally doing the DDPDelux

nope...

I went and picked up my prize package....we are in a SUITE for the Av's game and the best part is that it came under the reporting for tax purposes limit by $5 so I don't have to pay taxes on it!! ETA: here's where we will be on the 29th! http://www.pepsicenter.com/suiterentals/suites.asp

Then I went to my interview with the staffing agency. It's a little one...2 employees but I have confidence in the lady. Even with my crappy keyboard I am typing at 37 WPM and I passed all the other tests with the accuracy I needed or expected...espescially since they were testing on an antiquated Windows Office Suite and didn't allow for shortcuts.

I picked this up last night http://www.hamiltonbeach.com/openstation-can-openers-open-station-can-opener.html with some of my birthday money (yes, my birthday is in July....my sister just sent a gc) I had a crappy old opener that saw it's better days about a decade ago. But it took 6 stores to find that one...who knew can openers were such a big Christmas present??

That's the one we bought my mom for Christmas.

If that were possible, my second-born would eat the damn thing before we even left Ohio. As it is, he tore all the stickers off the cover of his first book today.

Tia I got your card today. It was in an envelope from the post office the envelope was torn in 3 pieces the back, my address and the stamp. as well as the card.

I received your card, too, Tia. Though it may have come at any point over the last couple of days. Mine was also in an envelope from the post office. The card was in perfect shape as was the front of the original envelope. The rest of the envelope was missing. Thank you!

We're at an awkward stage, since the kids are too little to do the whole clipboard thing, and Kevin and I just don't have enough hands between us to juggle big photobooks, etc.

I'll make something, but it's going to have to be simple. I'm determined to keep my sanity!
