I did, it felt good to be out and even better that I didn't need a coat. :goodvibes

Mo and I picked up a few things at Target on clearance. New garland for our front door and new bows for our wreaths. And some other odds & ends.

Of course, I should've stayed out. Everyone was in a much better mood when I left ;)

Mo wasn't so cranky, Em wasn't home yet with her nasty attitude and Lu was feeling better.

Lu woke up from her nap screaming and hasn't let Eric or I put her down. We've been tag teaming cooking our "Christmas" dinner. I'm thinking we'll be back at the dr.s tomorrow if she keeps it up.
oh no poor Lucy :wizard: that she gets better fast. for you and Eric

Elizabeth I hope dh makes it to the grocery store!

Deb your girly bathroom is going to be so cute!

Robyn sorry Lucy is not feeling well

so my grandmother gave the girls Honey jars that were filled with coins. Virginia got a big jar filled with pennies it had 6.80. Olivia had a smaller jar that was filled with dimes. She got 30.00. They each got some disney dollars in their stockings as well.

Try this.

Let me know how it works. ;)

for drinking or for popping over the boys heads??:confused3 :rotfl2:

I hear you on this, Vicki. I hope Chuck's Mom is doing better. Bob's family chose to not let Bob know about his Mom most of last week. :confused3 And when we got home there were 7 messages on our home phone and 4 on his work cell. they KNEW we were on vacation and which phone he had because we talked to them at least 4 times while we were gone... including yesterday afternoon!

Elin, I'm so sorry to hear this. :grouphug: for you all. It is my greatest fear with Chuck's mom. We have decided we are going to have to call daily to check on her. It is the only way we are going to know for sure how she is doing.

I just got up from a nap. I didn't realize how bad I was feeling until I laid down and was out. I got up to an empty living room. Becky is at work. I wasn't sure where Katrina and Chuck were but I now hear them in the basement. I think I'll head down there to check on them. We were supposed to start straightening it up but that hadn't happened yet. I think they may be on it now.

Just wanted to stop in and say we are home. Well, Kristin and I are home. Bob is on the road again, on his way to PA. While we were in the Orlando Airport last night he got a call from one of his aunts telling him that his Mom was not doing well at all. By the time we got to Baltimore (on the flight from H E L L) she had slipped into a coma. She died this morning at 4:30....

I'm so sorry for your loss, Elin. to you all!

I thought next year was Philharmanic Mickey

Oh right. So it was Playhouse Disney now, then Philharmagic Mickey. That idea was brought on by our planning a trip around that birthday and thus bumped the chocolate party to either Phil's birthday party (or the one Terra thinks he's having) or her next party. See, even I can't keep her plans straight. Hence the reason we're talking now about the small party to be held 2 months from now. :goodvibes :rotfl:

Thanks for all of the great advice so far! I really appreciate it. This is all something I haven't thought a lot about before since it was so far in the future.

So what is everyones favorite and least favorite features of your current (or any, I guess) home?

Robyn - I hope to read that your drain did its job and no further surgery was necessary.

Janet - did you get to a dentist??

Tia (and Terra) - sounds like you had a great day at DL/CA!!

Elizabeth I hope dh makes it to the grocery store!

Deb your girly bathroom is going to be so cute!

Robyn sorry Lucy is not feeling well

He is there now. I told him he could leave DS here with me, but he took DS along.

Deb, good luck getting your bathroom pulled together! :wizard:

Robyn, poor Lucy! I hope she feels better soon! :wizard:

 :yay:  I am so impressed, Elizabeth! How did they taste?

The 2 or 3 I got were pretty good. DS and DH ate the rest!

Janet - your kitchen looks spectacular!!

we have a corner lot is my favorite. no garage of course is my least favorite.

Who knew that when the guy said $10,000 back in 1974 we really should have jumped on it.

My favorite is our vaulted ceiling with the kitchen/dining/living room basically one big room. I think Deb called it a great room. The vaulted ceiling makes the room seem so much bigger and it keeps us all together.

My second favorite is having our bedroom on one end of the house and the girls on the other. I just felt that we all had more privacy as they got older.

The least favorite feature in all of our homes was having the bedrooms upstairs and the laundry room in the basement. I prefer having one floor for all our major living. We do have a basement but that has Chuck's workroom, my office, storage and an area for the kids to entertain friends when they have them over.

I know that I just basically repeated Deb's post :lmao: but I wanted to share my feelings despite them not being original. :rotfl:

Chris came home with his Mother  She stayed for a couple of hours. She did bring the boys gifts and we gave hers to her. I just didn't anticipate doing it tonight. Oh well, it's over. She did pretty well this year. She bought each of the boys a dvd, toy and hot chocolate/s'mores gift set. She also gave each of them $50 :faint: She gave Chris a set of long johns and a $25 Kmart gift card. She gave me 2 pr of pjs and a $25 Kmart gift card. We certainly didn't expect that much. She stayed for dinner since it was cooking when they arrived. It is just so akward talking with her as we really have nothing to talk about. It's like having a conversation with a stranger. Of course Chris made it much easier as he sat on the couch next to her working on a rubix cube:mad:

Janet - did you get to a dentist??

My appointment is tomorrow, but I am thinking about canceling it. The swelling has gone down, I think a piece of food(popcorn maybe)irritated my gum. I do have another appointment in Feb. for a cleaning.
