He is such a charmer. I bet he was very excited about having his pic in the paper.

We have had water park tickets for 2 trips now and haven't used them. But if the Uncles decide to tag along on MY vacation I think the water park might be a handy escape. Or not, if they buy water park tickets, too. My other escape plan is pool hopping since they don't own DVC. Yes, I know I am being tacky.

Good luck with the snow removal! :wizard:

I wasn't sure what the deal was. It has been a long time since I ordered pins.

I hope he feels better soon! :wizard:

Let's see...
My pants and maybe my sweatshirt, your boots, Bernadette's sunglasses, and it is all being supported by Theresa's tree stand. Seems like Becky was missing something as well.

Speaking of tree I need to look for that loop of fishing line.

DS did a nice job at his concert! We couldn't see him because he is so short and he was in the very back, but he did well with his drumming! :goodvibes

That is terrific for DS. We can't have not being able to see him. They will just have to put him on a box next year.

Good morning...

I swear I've been reading along but I just can't seem to remember anything these days. I sure hope once the holidays are over things level off a bit.

Mac- What a glorious Christmas gift.:goodvibes

Yesterday my girlfriend, Faye, and I dropped off a ton of gifts/gift cards to Christine. She was completely overwhelmed. We had a chance to talk for a bit and she really seems to be holding up well. She said that on top of Paul's death, her grandmother has severe dementia and isn't doing well. Her mom wasn't at the memorial service as they had actually both planned on visiting the grandmother before Paul died. And her sister is having a terrible time with a drug and alcohol addiction. I just cannot fathom having all that thrown at me at once and still be able to function. She told us that she really shouldn't have to make to many changes to their life, which is a huge blessing. I did offer to help out with daycare for her youngest DD, who is 2 1/2, should she need it. She had mentioned she may need to add another day to her work schedule.

Good for y'all. :goodvibes

Mac -- What a wonderful day you guys had yesterday! I hope everything goes well and no one gets sick.

Andrew has his first two mid-terms today. He gets out at 12:15, so I'll have to go pick him up then take him back to work with me. Hopefully he'll get some more studying done for tomorrow's test. He only has math because the other period is his elective class.

I'm having my windshield replaced today, after it cracked in our ice the past couple of days. Other than that, I need to finish off a few small things for next week.

I hope everyone has a terrific day!

I just got an email for $10 off an order of more than $10 at JcPenney.com

RBEST is the code.

They also have free shipping on orders over $25 and that is on their site.

Is the free shipping automatic? It seems like there isn't a way to stack codes on their site. They have that tree stand I want, so $10 off and free shipping would be a great deal!

Deb Colby is such a cutie :goodvibes

Kristine I hope you make your drive safely today :wizard:

Good news, I found my boots! Sorry to say they were not hiding with all the other missing items from here ;) They were in a tote that I thought I had looked in.

Colby is a cutie! :)

How's it looking, Kristine?

Yay for finding your boots!

We got an inch of snow, topped with an inch of ice.

That sounds unpleasant!

Marci - Good luck to Andrew on his test! :wizard: I hope the windshield replacement doesn't take too long!

Bye, bye sunny and 80 degrees. :goodvibes Hello ice, driving rain and snow.:goodvibes :rotfl:

806 unread emails at home. 18 inches of snail mail. :welcome: home

My DGD's school is on a 2 hour delay. However, I'm not. :cutie:

I am back on page 130 or so. I need the Readers Digest version. When I left, the Facebook virus was just happening. :headache:

I just looked the the Today show for the first time in 2 weeks. :scared1: :scared1:

On the home front, my tree is just beautiful. My DD did a really good job picking one out.

We had so much fun. So very much fun. We hated the cruise so much we are already booked for next year.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I won't be able to come back on until tonight. No time to dis while working today.

Anyway, we're home! I'll see you all tonight.:goodvibes

Good morning everyone-

the snow removal crew scared me when they showed up at 3am!!! but at least they came and we are dug out!

we will leave in a couple of hours....hopefully the drive won't be bad.

I'll post some pics when we get there.

Safe travels, Kristine.

Colby is adorable, as usual.

Welcome home Terry and Stephanie.

Good luck Andrew!

Good Morning

It is still snowing here, actually it just picked up again. I knew another snow band was coming through, though I was hoping that it would wait until after I picked Colby up. I will have to go out and do a lot of shoveling before I will be able to get my car out of the driveway.

This was what I saw from my windows at 9 am. There is MUCH heavier snow coming down now

I didn't read the fine print on the JcPenney's coupon. Apparently it is non transferrable. Sorry.

Thanks for all the compliments on Colby. He is quite a cutie. It was a bit strange sitting there last night. there were so many little girls in the oddest outfits. One girl had on a green velvet dress that was shortened by safety pins (one the outside of the dress no less). For the first time in a very long time I found myself wondering what our little girl would have looked like if we had been blessed with one? Oh well, that wasn't meant to be and I did get 3 beautiful little boys

Chris just brought the truck home to me and took the car. He said the roads are not safe so he'd rather have me in the 4 wheel drive vehicle.  I still need to do some shoveling, but I know that I can get out.

Isn't tomorrow the free shipping day that Jennifer posted about. I think there was a website listing all the free shipping sites that were participating

The special personalize commercial link that Jennifer posted the other day has now been emailed to me by the Disney Mom's Club and DVC. I guess they really want to spread the magic around.

Now I'm off to shovel and pick up Colby

What a dittoable post! :thumbsup2

I just got an e-mail from Uncle2 asking if it will be a problem with ADRs if they don't book concierge. That certainly makes it sound like they are planning to join us. Their travel agent is out of the office so they haven't priced packages yet, but it seems to be the direction we're heading. That gave me the opportunity to say that some of my plans are already FINISHED, but I should be able to add them to my other ADRs if they are interested in those restaurants. I am trying to make it clear that they will be responsible for booking some of their own stuff, and they will also be responsible for entertaining themselves on the days we have other plans. I told them we are doing 3 CS dinners, but I failed to mention I plan to do TS lunches those days. :rolleyes1 It is my hope that by NOT offering to include them in each and every minute of my trip that we will ALL have an enjoyable time. On the previous trips Uncle1 has gotten all pouty when I suggested that we spend time apart, but for my sanity I am going to have to get tough about boundaries. I didn't say "You should come with us!" so as far as I am concerned, they are simply vacationing at the same time, not vacationing WITH us.

I thought that was last week. :confused3
