DDA Chapter 15

Not to worry! Thanks for taking on the task of getting a new list together! :)

DS never did hold his own bottle. And he kept the bottle until he was 15 mos. old. The other nannies were thoroughly disappointed in me, because everyone knows it is TWELVE mos. to wean off the bottle. Ironically he did hold his own cup, right from the get go. But he never held his own bottle. He kept his pacifier until 21 mos. and then we took it away because his face was all chapped and sore. I had planned to take the pacifier at 18 mos. but I changed jobs and didn't want him to have too much trauma all at once!

Of course the charge I went to was allowed to keep his bottles (with FORMULA in them!!) until he was 3 and his pacifiers until he was past 4, so in the grand scheme of things I think I did pretty well with DS. :rolleyes1

Yikes! If nothing else, why go to the expense of formula that long?! :rotfl:

I got the email for the DDA info, thanks Jennifer. But what is up with Kristine and Debbie being born in 2008? they won't share their age huh? ;)

I might be able to join you in that. :rotfl: My favorite aunt used to always say, "It's a good thing your mother didn't name you Grace."

Heidi, I hope your finger is feeling better. Those types of injuries can hurt for quite a while.
I am quite a clutz....if i trip or something , my family just says "Here comes Grace"

I just answered a trivia question correctly on a radio contest. Now I'm waiting to see if I was the randomly drawn winner. It is for 6 tickets to Disney on Ice In Boston. Fingers crossed here. I will know in just a couple of minutes.
Hope you win tomororw!

Cool! Thanks!

Will someone please PM Chanon's new name to me? I'm getting my cards done.
This just reminded me of something--I THINK i sent their card with no last name--i remember writing chanon and bob and putting it aside so i could PM for the new last name...i now, cannot find it!

Jen - DH said we got your card today. Thanks! :)

Luckily our insurance check also arrived today.

DS just finished band practice. Guess what he found today? His SHIRT for PE. His language arts teacher found the Gap bag in her classroom. When she looked inside the shorts and shirt were there. She put the bag behind her desk to give back to him. When she gave him the bag today his shorts were gone. So some enterprising thug STOLE them out of the bag.   I knew that's what would probably happen. At least he got the shirt back. If the next pair of shorts (the ones I ordered last night) gets stolen I will not be paying for a third pair. :headache:

She got a ballet one last year. I'll have to see about finding something 'theatrical'.

how about a tea cup for your special dates with Miss Elin?? Or an ornament depicting one of the theater shows you all saw this year??

Colby took a nap (so did I :rolleyes1 ) after his nap he was asking to play video games. I told him that I would give him a test and if he could get 3 out of 5 letter correct he could play games. I gave him a sound and the corresponding letter and I chose letters that I knew he had seen on the computer today. He got all 5 correct :cool1:

I've been fighting a sore throat and other crappy symptoms. Nothing too serious. Hopefully a little extra sleep will keep me on my feet. Now is not the time to be sick.

And with that I am off to wrap presents.
Yay for Colby! I hope you can fight off whatever you might be coming down with. :wizard:

Ugh, I can sympathize! Are his hands red, swollen and FREEZING?! I feel so bad for the girls, but it's their own fault! If only they understood when I explained that they shouldn't do it! :rotfl:
Get used to it. :sad2: It doesn't get better as they age.

Hhmmm....I'll have to think on it a bit.

We have finally finished our homework marathon. Both kids worked for 3 straight nights to make up what they missed. WE ARE DONE!

Get used to it. :sad2: It doesn't get better as they age.
:thumbsup2
at least when they are the twin's age you the blank look you get is because they don't comprehend...beats the eyerolls!!

Jennifer - can you go in and add my last name to my info please?
