Does anyone know anything about Verizon Fios? The are hooking up our entire subdivision and I'm curious if I should get it. Right now I have cable internet and Directv.

Well, I braved going out by myself with the baby yesterday. We went to Costco to pick up the Christmas cards. While I was there, I also picked up a DVD of the HBO miniseries "John Adams" for my dad. I hope he'll like it. I know he loved the book, so I'm hopeful! I loved the miniseries! It was phenomenal! Guess if Dad doesn't like it, I can take it for myself and get him something else.

It was kind of scary being alone with Timothy in the car. I've forgotten so much about newborns, and I got spoiled having Alan home last week. I'm glad I did it, though, since now I know I can do it. Good thing, to, since I have to find Katie a white blouse and black skirt for her choir concert on Friday. Not to mention, finishing up the Christmas shopping.

Yes Daniel has the first book & a pack of booster cards & he loves it. Katie got him more cards from her holiday fair at school & she was giggling that he was going to be so happy.

I know, I spent a ton of money on my kids & it doesn't look like much all over the living room floor right now.

The Wii & DS games are so expensive & they are so tiny under the tree.

Wrap them in larger boxes I understand we have the same issues here.

It was 31 when I took him to school, but it wasn't icy! It was cool yesterday but not cold enough to freeze the ground! I think DS might need to learn a bit more about weather.

DH picked up our Christmas cards. They printed the photos in the wrong configuration! I wanted the group photo in the middle! Oh, well! Too late now! So when you guys get these cards and think "It would have looked better with the group in the center" just know that's what I did on the website but that's NOT how they printed them!

I think we have your weather. It is 51 degrees and pouring here. Of course 2 days ago in was below zero It is raining so hard it sounds like I've got the shower turned on

I can't ride IASW without thinking about it!

When I wonder through One Man's Dream at MGM (just for Tammi ) I always wonder which desk they are talking about


Colby has been on the website that Tom posted for the last hour. He seems to be enjoying it. Hopefully something he sees or hears will "stick"

our tree looks very bare with the meager presents we have under there...but I know it is things the girls will love and that's what is important. I was telling Cassidy that it would be meager under the tree from me (let's face it I am the one who puts the thought in, buys, wraps the presents)...her response was "Does it look like I care?"

For Cassidy: The Louis Vuitton purse (probably fake but beautiful anyway), HSM shadow box, portable speakers for her MP3 player, an "eskimo" hat

Abi gets: Planet Earth DVD set (I got a steal on Ebay $20 ), a booklight (the only thing she's asked for) with a Borders GC from MyPoints, a Tink hoodie and good gracious I can't remember

It is freezing again here today and the air quality is red so no fire for me today

I have an interview tomorrow afternoon that I have to figure out how to get there....not far away just on a side street.

I always get my kids one that has something to do with the past year as well. I'm getting Nicholas a football one. I have no idea what to get Alyssa.

How about getting Cassidy something that has to do with turning 16? A car maybe?

I promise I'll get it in the mail tomorrow. I have to go to the doctor's to have my incision checked, so I'll stop at the post office on the way. Sorry it's taken me so long! I've put it in the diaper bag, so I won't forget!
