Amy the photos of the kids with Santa are so cute :goodvibes

Chanon you got some good shots of the parade & the castle!

Debbie, Deb, Jen, Marci, & Kristine Thank you for the Christmas cards! I love the photos, they are on my fridge now :thumbsup2

Janet - I hope Garret feels better soon and that the rest of the family gets passed by!!

My SIL is engaged! I'm really happy for them. This is the SIL that was almost not invited to my wedding because she used to be so downright nasty (and still can be obnoxious, but comes by it naturally :rolleyes1 ) but who is much more mature now ... and the future BIL-by-marriage(?) :) that keeps her in line and whom we love dearly! :yay:

that is terrific for ALL of you!

Look - no garland across Main Street!!
th_Disney2008096.jpg

I am betting (or should I say, HOPING) they will put it up now that the Christmas parade taping is done (or soon will be).

I LOVE your Goofy ornament!

I am unpacked & have laundry going, I also have a pot roast cooking. The temp is already dropping, I was hopping it would wait till later today. I still need a few things from the grocery store, but I will wait to do that when I pick Riley up from school.

I just showed Gary one of my favorite things I bought at Disney. It is like the Staples button but it has the Lion King on it & when you push it, it says "I am surrounded by idiots". I am taking this to work & I am sure I will use it often :rotfl: I know I sound mean :rolleyes1 It just cracks me up

I'm sure the tree will be up soon, but I hope they don't bother with the garland. It looks so much better without & you can actually see the castle!

Janet-hope Garret feels better quickly

Chanon-Welcome home!! (love the pics and the oopsie is quite typical Stephanie...trying not to be photographed)

It snowed about 8 inches last night/this morning and it's cold!! I am headed to the shower and applying for more jobs. I hate answering interview questions on paper...I think I sound so lame.

Good morning. :)

For some bizarre reason, it is so much easier getting up this early when you are in WDW. I can't imagine why.

That is the ONLY time that it is easy to get up early :lmao:

:cool1: :cool1: That sounds like a great relationship :cool1: :cool1:

...and this is the last picture, I promise! This is the ornament that I got from Janet!
Disney2008107.jpg

I love the ornament, but please keep posting pictures. I'm trying to get my Disney fix here :worship:

Despite the fact I want to keep things simple, Kevin still has meetings and holiday parties almost every night for the next two weeks. Thus, we made a trip to the mall last night to visit Santa. It ended up being a great experience, and we had Santa to ourselves for almost half an hour.

Alyssa told Santa she wanted "bad guys" for Christmas. Santa said he didn't like Bratz dolls. :rotfl: She really meant she wants some Disney Villains to add to her princess Barbie doll collection.

You got some great shots. I'm glad to hear that Noah is starting to sleep better:yay:

I need one of those in the car. I'm constantly telling the boys that they shouldn't let idiots drive :rolleyes1

I hope that Garrett is feeling better.

Colby's teacher told me yesterday that he isn't learning his letters as quickly as the other Kindergartners. She wants us to work with him at home. I did work with him yesterday and we even came up with a game to play in the car using all the different road signs. Hopefully he will catch up. Just one more thing to worry about. On the other hand Hunter hasn't taken Aleve for a couple of days and hasn't had a headache. Hopefully the cycle has been broken.

I spent an hour on the phone fighting with Sears yesterday over the bike. We finally agreed that we would hold on the the stroller until they had a bike to ship us. We have no idea when this will happen, but we should end up with a bike in the end. It's amazing how it went from "you need to place a new order" to "you must ship the stroller back or we will charge you" to which I told her she could try, but I would be contesting the charge. After that little bit of info she was more than willing to work with me :confused3 Apparently they don't want to give us a $299.99 stoller for $68.88. She even gave me her email address so that we could communicate directly. I also went online and set it up so that I would be emailed when the bike is in stock again. Hopefully that mess is cleared up.

Oh man! I totally just lost my big reply! I'll try again and hope I don't forget anything.

Elin - Love the gift idea for your sister and BIL. Sounds perfect.

Amy - Great Santa pictures! They turned out wonderfully. I think your simplifying plan sounds perfect for the time and place you're in.

Jennifer - I'm totally jealous of your baking day. I think that I get to have my own mini-marathon on Friday. All other people's kids are accounted for that day in ways that shouldn't change and don't involve me so I should be set. Now to just figure out what I'm making. Outside of sugar cookies, chocolate chip and oreo truffles I'm not sure what I want to do.

Tom - Happy Anniversary!

Theresa - Continued good luck and prayers on your job search. I know it's tough. :grouphug:

Glynis - Enjoy your first week home alone with Timothy. It will get hectic at your house soon enough with Christmas break coming up. Also, Terra got her ornament exchange last week and was soo excited. I got the mail on the way to the car and she managed to get the paper and box ripped open on her own she was so anxious to get into it. I'll post pictures later.

Everyone - Thanks for the Christmas cards. They are really brightening my days! Mine should go out this week as well as our ornament exchanges.

Lindsey - So good to see you pop in! Hope you can do so more soon. Have a wonderful trip!

Tammi, Janet, Chanon, Anne Marie - Welcome home! Can't wait to hear all about your trips.

Kristine - Love the walls in your house. They are beautiful.

Janet - Your kitchen looks wonderful! Gary is doing an amazing job and that hood is beautiful!

I'm sure I missed somethings again, but please know that I read it all and am thinking about your all.

Well, things are predicatably hectic around here. Yesterday I took Terra, Chase and Kaylin to dance class, to get Terra's pictures taken and to the mall. We were supposed to do our Border's shopping there as well, but ran out of time after lunch before having to pick Connor up at school. Then it was taking Connor to TaeKwonDo and stopping at Toys R Us to pick up some sale items for Kristi. Luckily, she's keeping them both so I don't have to take anything back as well. I think I was home for a whopping 45 minutes (split between 2 segments) from 9am to 9pm. Luckily, the little girls were really really good, even while we were at the picture studio, plus I had borrowed a double stroller from a friend.

Today we'll finally hit Borders with Mom, Rachel, a friend, Terra and my charge, plus maybe Kristi's family depending on how she's feeling. She needs work clothes she can wear with her cast and some Christmas stuff, but hasn't felt so hot today. She's thinking Chris needs to push her in a wheelchair then I would take Chase in the stroller. So, we'll see how all of that goes. This holiday is approaching more and more quickly it seems with too many un-holiday related things clogging it up as well. Christmas in CA is sounding peaceful right now, though I know it will be busy too with a DL day, playgroup party, Christmas, etc. My best friend's family will keep us active and celebrating as much as ours would, but it will be fun!

So how is everyone else's day shaping up?

Well, everyone will be home soon and ready to head out shopping so I guess I should go get some things done. I just realized that I never ate this morning which would explain a lot about why I keep reaching for that bag of Mint M&Ms.

Have a good day everyone!!

Alan got our camera fixed last night, so I uploaded some photos. Thought I'd share some of the cute pictures!

Glynis-I love the last picture of Timothy in the stocking:goodvibes

Tia-you are one super busy lady!!

Since Deb asked... :teeth:

I swear he did this on purpose. Not one person was able to get a decent shot of him and I was there for 10 minutes.
