Becky I hope your grandpa is doing better and not in any pain from the fall.

He is bruised on his knee and arm. He has been falling over backwards. It seems to happen most often right after he has his shot for his prostate cancer.

He and my Grandma keep going back and forth between their health issues. She just had surgery on her defibrillator a few weeks ago. He was doing alright. Now she is better and he is worse.

I know, it actually says thank you on the bottom. If I make it smaller with Photobucket defaults it is too small. I have to resize him otherwise.

We got our tree & decorations up today. Outside is done too.

I didn't put up my village either..too much work. Next year I will do so in our new house.

Tomorrow we might do some shopping & Sunday we are taking the kids to see Santa at Macy's in the city.

Monday & Tuesday I have to pack & make a list for Dana.

Becky - Good thoughts for your grandparents!

Vicki - I am glad you found some things today! We walked through Macy's but nothing really thrilled me. DS tried on some jeans, but they didn't look like they fit any better than the ones he has (which don't fit well at all) and the line was about 10 people deep. I tried on a pair of jeans but they were those evil "stretch" things so they looked very, very tight. They didn't feel that tight, but they looked like a wetsuit.

I was hoping to see a nice wool cloak for my mom (like the ones the ladies on Nanny 911 wear) but all I could find were coats and lightweight shawl/wrap things. She is short but she is heavy so she needs "petite woman's" sizes. I thought maybe a cape or cloak would be good for her this winter. She won't ever tell me what she needs. If I buy her something she returns it, if I give her a gift card she never redeems it.

Becky glad to hear your grandfather will be ok

I do not know if I will even get a tree up this year Our house still looks a mess, but our hope is to have it in order for Christmas as we are having everyone come here. If nothing else I will at least set out the small tree I used at Disney last year.

After today I am basically done shopping for the boys I just need to get them both a new cell phone & a few stocking stuffers.

I've started the rebate process. Thankfully I only had a couple today.

I swore I would not go out today because I always say there are some crazy, crazy people out there!!!! Since our cruise documents had not come yet, I even went to work to check if they had come there. No such luck. Can't remember where they were to come. ARRRGGGUUUHHHHHHH!!!!! Anyhooooo since I was out, I thought I would stop at a few places to check for anything that looked good. Actually found a few movies for the grandboys. I also found a few pillowcases to get for autographs. Then I went to the local mall to get something to eat. While I was walking around, I found a pair of purple Mammouth Crocs. They are so cute!!!! After showing them to Stephanie, I decided to get them.

Now for some news.



Yesterday at 2:15 pm. a fire broke out at a local chocolate store, said store was connected to a chinese restaurant and a pizza parlor. I have a cousin that is a volunteer fire fighter and his company was called out. Well he and another guy went into the chinese restaurant to try and keep it from catching fire.
Well they were inside when the place exploded. My cousin was thrown into the air and landed on his back/side on the counter, then rolled off. He told his partner to grab hold of his boot they were going out the window. Both men were assessed and then sent home, both are sore but fine.

that is scary, indeed. I am glad they are both OK.

Oh yeah, I told the doctor that I thought my ears and throat problems were my sinuses. When he checked both he told me he agreed with my diagnose.

I took Leighanna and her friend to see Santa downtown tonight. They had a good time. Although Leighanna asked for something I know she won't be getting. I caved and got her that horse last year and she only has played with it a few times. I have learned my lessons on toys like that!

Sounds like everyone got the deals that they were looking for.

I still might get a couple of things on Disney shopping tonight, I have a couple of things in my cart for our trip in February, I just need to check out. Maybe if I procrastinate enough, I will forget it.
