Since we now have two sets of twins I have the K twins and the N twins :rotfl: Hunter is very happy and has brought the ornaments to his room. I'm hoping that he will end up putting them on our Disney tree this year. If he tries to put that big one on his mini tree I really think it will tip over :rotfl:

:rotfl: That's why I added the second little one. I loved the big one, but it was big! I thought that there might need to be a smaller version if kids wanted to put it on a tree, play with it otherwise :)

Am I the only one who didn't know that PayPal is now charging to transfer funds into your bank account? I am fairly sure that I have done this before without being charged. I think it is a fairly substantial charge too!

Hey Jennifer - Are the various Sudafeds combinable? If I take a 12 hour one that comes from behind the pharmacy counter and it isn't helping much after 7-8 hours can I take one of the 4 hour kind that comes from the sales floor? Does that even make sense? I'm doubting that I can so I haven't, but it would have been nice to be able to do so a couple of hours ago. Thanks!

It does make sense. My first response is that you probably can after 7-8 hours, but maybe not much sooner than that, but I can't really answer without knowing how much of each thing is in each one.

I just looked in our med formulary and basically you can have 240mg of psuedoephedrine in a 24 hour period. It's usually dosed 60mg every 6, 120mg every 12, etc but that's the max.

I'd look at the box, too, and see if it has anything else. I'm not sure about the 12-hour, if it has Tylenol, etc but the same thing would apply. You can take Tylenol every 4-6 hours, but not more than 1g at a time and not more than 4g daily (as an adult).

Does that help at all?

:wave2: Glynis, good to hear from you.

:yay: for new internet service that allows you back with us.
Glad to hear that Mary is healthy again, poor Allen hope he's not in too much pain. (gentle  for him)
Tell Peanut that it is to close to Thanksgiving for him to come now. pixiedust: that he will wait.

Hi, everyone! Long time, no communicate!

My mother has been trying to figure out what to buy for Chris and I. I want the hard drive, but really didn't have any other things. Tonight I decided that it is time to redo the master bath and actually use it  We've always just shared one bathroom since we were all on different schedules, but now there are too many trying to shower in the morning. I've always used the tub in our room to store prebought gifts. I piled all the gifts by recipient tonight so the tub is empty :thumbsup2 I'm going to ask Mom for new towels, bath rug and shower head. I'd also like one of the picture frame jewelry boxes for in there. Can you tell that it will be my bathroom :rolleyes1 Mom is also getting me a hairdryer/curling iron rack for the wall. Hopefully it all come together.

Sounds great! :goodvibes

I think I need to take some motrin and go to bed. I feel a headache brewing from 'negotiating' the holiday with the kids' dad. We've finally settled on him getting them Wednesday night through Sat. night. The kids, Bob and I will have our Tday on Wednesday. This will be the first holiday that I'm without them, but I think I will be okay. I say this now, but who knows how I will feel on Thursday. Having a trip coming up makes it all okay. :) After all, Thanksgiving can be whatever day we make it, right? Just because the rest of the world will be having family time on Thursday doesn't mean we need to.

 You're absolutely right about this, but I'm sure it can still be hard!

For all of you on Facebook, my two sons posted pictures of Howie's dog Jake.
I just could not go yesterday to see him for one last time. In fact, Howie did not go either. he wanted the couple that had Jake for the past two years to have the final weekend to themselves.

No way! They definitely did NOT used to charge you. It's your money, you should be able to 'retrieve it'! :sad2:

A friend just sent this to me and I thought it was quite appropriate for our group!

::yes:: $.79 on a $10 transaction! :confused3 There is a % charge plus $.30 per transaction. If you choose to join their premier status the % is less. There is also a limit of 5 transfers per year now, I think, unless you opt for premier status. :sad2:

Elizabeth, the most scandalous thing I have is that we got snow last night. :sad2:

Of course, any day you want to celebrate with your kids is your holiday. We have done that several times. We have done Christmas Eve with the extended family & then had Christmas to ourselves. :thumbsup2

Good morning. :)

Today is the last day of school and work, then we will all be on vacation!!!
:cheer2:

Have fun at school today, Deb. I hope you hear from the PO today too!
Ditto! Good luck Deb!

Elin,
Hope you are feeling better today.

My cousin sent me this the other day and I love it! :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone for letting me whine yesterday. After spending the day doing the bare minimum I am feeling much better, physically and mentally! Our plan is to go and just take it easy. We called up there and my cousin could hear the cold in my voice (or lack thereof) and said that we can do as little as we want or as much as we want. She said that if we felt we couldn't make it, it was ok too. She told me that if they ended up with our colds it was a small price to pay for the time we'd get to spend together!! Mo and Lu both sound a lot better this morning too. I am hoping that I can get what I need to get done today, which since I did very little yesterday is a lot, and still feel as good as I do now. I told Emma that she must help out without whining or she stays home!!!

So we hit the road tomorrow and will just take our time. No rush to get there.

I need to get the girls fed. I'll try to be back to catch up a bit.

That stinks! All of it!

I have a nasty cold. :(

I have a co-worker to thank for it, I think. We share a room one day a week, and I know she spread her germs all over it for me! ;)
So, off to bed early for me. See you all in the morning.

I hope you are feeling better today.

My mother has been trying to figure out what to buy for Chris and I. I want the hard drive, but really didn't have any other things. That sounds like a great idea. I liked the pic of the frame.

I think I need to take some motrin and go to bed. I feel a headache brewing from 'negotiating' the holiday with the kids' dad. You are exactly right!

For all of you on Facebook, my two sons posted pictures of Howie's dog Jake.
I just could not go yesterday to see him for one last time. In fact, Howie did not go either. he wanted the couple that had Jake for the past two years to have the final weekend to themselves.

More hugs to your family. :grouphug:

Sounds like we have some dealing with the some yicky bugs.

Poor Miss Elin...I hope you feel better in the morning.

I have a headache brewing just like you Deb...hope they both go away.

It is really hard to try and tell people why you are leaving a job without really telling them...espescially when they keep mentioning the fact the economy stinks and jobs are hard to come by. I feel so bad for my poor volunteer who is down in Florida right now. I called and left her a message on her phone so that she wasn't blindsided when she got back. She called me back 15 minutes later, turns out she's more technically tuned in then I can be:rotfl2: . She blamed herself. I told her in no way was she to blame and that I love her to pieces. 2 more days and then I am free!!

I'm really praying hard for one of the opportunities to pan out.

Hi everyone-i went to bed so early and now im wide awake--i dont have to be up for another hour and a half and here i am....
The plan for today is work--then come home and finish packing and getting everything together...While im working wednesday, dad will put everything in the car and we leave as soon as iget home from work...luckily, i got another teacher to dismiss my kids so i can get out of there.

They just said it should be in the 70s on Thursday with a 20% of rain. Of course, that could change several times in the next couple of days. They also said the high on Friday will be in the low 50s.

It is pooring here with temps in the 30s. Many schools around here are either cancelled or delayed, but not us. I guess that is good since the kids will get to have their parties. I am subbing this morning until 11 AM then I'm running the party from 11 AM - Noon. I am working at 5 PM tonight. It certainly seems like it will be a long day. Maybe I'll hear something about the Post Office job today :confused3

Have a great day DDA

I hope you hear from the PO today!

I need this on a sign by my bed, my desk, my car etc.

My cousin sent me this the other day and I love it! :thumbsup2

I'm glad you are feeling a little better. PD that you all continue to feel better and get a lot done today.

Cute ornament pictures! Keep them coming.

Today is Grandparents day at the school, so I'll go with my Dad so that both boys have someone in their class. Andrew has an orthodontist appt. later to have more molds made, and I'm having my gray washed out later this afternoon.

Have a great day everyone!

Vicki - You inspired me to clean out my inbox this morning! I had nowhere near 8000 emails, but 142 was enough for me! Thanks for the push. :teeth:

I noticed this too when I transferred money in to our corporate account from selling tickets on ebay. The fees seem very steep to me.!

Hope you are feeling better soon Elin :goodvibes

Feel better, Elin!

Glynis - I'm glad to hear that peanut is still hanging on. :wizard: that he stays put through the holiday, and that all goes easily for Mommy.

Elin - sorry to hear that you are sick. :wizard: that you get well.

Great ornaments that have been posted!

Man, my kids are saying the most hilarious stuff lately. Tonight we were sitting on the couch and Nicholas was studying the Christmas tree. Then he says "My favorite thing about the tree is the garlic." :rotfl: I've got to start writing these things down!

Is he hoping to keep the vampires away from the tree? :rolleyes1

I'm glad you got it worked out!

Terry, I am sorry about the doggie.

I can go with that. :thumbsup2

Elizabeth, the most scandalous thing I have is that we got snow last night. :sad2:

Hmm. That won't fill many pages, now will it?

Robyn, I am glad you are feeling better!

My head feels weird. Like I have had too much caffeine. But I haven't had any coffee yet. It felt like that last night, too. DH said last night at dinner that his head hurt and he felt "blah". I fear this could be the start of something bad.

I am glad I don't have any money in my PayPal account.
