It warmed up to 47 here but its dark & pouring. Yeah! Katie took an umbrella & I didn't have to say anything. Ok so she'll be cold but at least she will be dry! ;) I got alot of hugs from here last night before bed which was great.

We will be at my BIL's for Thanksgiving. Then this weekend we are decorating. I still have to get my mom & MIL their gifts but I have no idea what to get them.

Have a great day!

A friend just sent this to me and I thought it was quite appropriate for our group!

Powerful Women's Motto:

Live your life in such a way that when your feet hit the floor in the morning, Satan shudders & says..."Oh sh*t .....she's awake!!"
:lmao: :rotfl: :lmao:

My cousin sent me this the other day and I love it! :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone for letting me whine yesterday. After spending the day doing the bare minimum I am feeling much better, physically and mentally! Our plan is to go and just take it easy. We called up there and my cousin could hear the cold in my voice (or lack thereof) and said that we can do as little as we want or as much as we want. She said that if we felt we couldn't make it, it was ok too. She told me that if they ended up with our colds it was a small price to pay for the time we'd get to spend together!! Mo and Lu both sound a lot better this morning too. I am hoping that I can get what I need to get done today, which since I did very little yesterday is a lot, and still feel as good as I do now. I told Emma that she must help out without whining or she stays home!!!

So we hit the road tomorrow and will just take our time. No rush to get there.

I need to get the girls fed. I'll try to be back to catch up a bit.
:wizard: that everyone stays on the upswing. Try not to overdo it today.

I hope you hear from the PO today!
Everytime I read this I have to remind myself that Deb is not on probation. In my world, PO stands for probation officer!:rotfl2:

Why can't you tell them that you are just not happy there anymore? Then let them know that they are not to blame but it has become obvious that you cannot work there.

Because that's not enough for most of them...even the ones who have been my confidants in this mess.

Marci - I hope you and your dad have fun at school today!

Elizabeth - :wizard: than you all aren't coming down with something.

Anne Marie - YAY for hugs and an umbrella!

I can't tell you what a good mood I'm in today. :yay: :yay: Vacations do wonderous things for the spirit!

:yay: me too. Bob is taking Wednesday through Sunday off also. Kristin has to work tomorrow, Friday and Saturday. In her 22 year old mind that is unfair. She seems to forget that she had Veteran's Day off and only works every third Saturday. :rotfl2:

Cassidy had the same sense of unfairness this morning. I tried waking her up at 6:30 and then at 6:45 I went in and told her to get up, to truly get to school on time she has to leave a little before 7. I got "I'm going to be late", tears, the evil eye. When I asked why...because I got her up at 6:45. I still got the evil eye when I arranged a ride for her. It's her last day of school for 6 days....poor baby. :sad1: :rotfl2:

Am I the only one who didn't know that PayPal is now charging to transfer funds into your bank account? I am fairly sure that I have done this before without being charged. I think it is a fairly substantial charge too!

I wonder if that's a new thing? When I transferred last month I didn't have a fee.

Terry

Deb I hope you hear back from the Post Office!

Marci hope you have a fun day!

Elizabeth :wizard: for no sickies!

Elin I get updates from Paypal but never read them, guess I should. Glad I do not need to transfer money or have any money in that account now.

Robyn glad to hear you are feeling a little better. Hope you are able to enjoy your trip :wizard:

Theresa how nice to get the food basket :goodvibes

Becky I hope your day is not to long for you.

Jen I hope the day goes by quickly for you.

Tammi :yay: for vacation!

What Tammi said!!

and

Deb-I hope you hear from the Post Office today

Anne Marie glad to hear Katie took an umbrella today :goodvibes

My problem is with Riley, he still wants to wear shorts to school. 22 degrees this morning & he is in shorts  But he does wear a coat :rotfl:

Can someone who has gotten autographs on pillow cases tell me if I should be concerned about the thread count?

Thanks

It does make sense. My first response is that you probably can after 7-8 hours, but maybe not much sooner than that, but I can't really answer without knowing how much of each thing is in each one.

I just looked in our med formulary and basically you can have 240mg of psuedoephedrine in a 24 hour period. It's usually dosed 60mg every 6, 120mg every 12, etc but that's the max.

I'd look at the box, too, and see if it has anything else. I'm not sure about the 12-hour, if it has Tylenol, etc but the same thing would apply. You can take Tylenol every 4-6 hours, but not more than 1g at a time and not more than 4g daily (as an adult).

Does that help at all?

It does, thanks! I'm going to break down and go to the doctor today. My throat hurt so badly this morning that it woke me up every time I would swallow. That and my ears just don't feel right either. Between the holiday and leaving town, I've decided that I need to just give it up and go in.

Well, that was quick. The doctor wants me there at 9:45. Guess I had better go get dressed and out the door. Have a good one everybody!

The private schools have a rule about how late into the winter the kids can wear shorts. The public schools don't care. I see kids getting out of the cars in carpool all the time in shorts, even when it is REALLY cold. DS has no interest in shorts since it has cooled off.
