ugh. My tummy is all wonky. My niece and brother were sick over the weekend and I'm really hoping that I didn't catch it. I gave her a ride to school on the day that she should have stayed home and ended up going home early  I tried to take a nap, but had horrible dreams and I was freezing. Then the oil man came, then one of the other parent's called to see what she could bring to the party TOMORROW  The note went home a week and a half ago. Still no call from the Post Office.

Deb I hope you are not coming down with anything :wizard:

I am more excited than normal..i mean, i love all trips, but this is somethign that i have wanted to do since i was a littel girl ,and its my dad and i ,so its extra-special to me :goodvibes:

Jen I am so excited for you!

yes I am sure that is one of the reasons.

Things are much better this afternoon. I gave her a big hug when she came in from school & we both said "I'm sorry". They are eating now & quite peacefully.

:goodvibes

Tammi (and Anne Marie and Janet) I got the tickets in the mail. Please remind me to pack them. They are on my fridge.

If this keeps up, we will be on this chapter till the new year.

I am clearing off the bed in the back bedroom so I can pack my suitcase !!!!!!:cool1:

After many, many hours of sorting through emails, I have 0 entries in my inbox and my sent items. Woohoo! More importantly, I have a good system setup that should help keep me organized to find what I need when I need it. Tomorrow night, I'll sort through my stack of paperwork. Then I'll be done with the organization that is needed for work. I love the book "Getting Things Done". I also downloaded the info on how to implement the philosophy in Microsoft Outlook (which we just converted to at work). They were a big help.

I'm off to bed now. I need to get some sleep.

Wow! Great job, Vicki! You had so many to do too. I'm very impressed. I'm glad you've got a system down to help you moving forward. I may need to check out that book.

I am seriously contemplating not going to Michigan. I still feel pretty horrible, it hurts to swallow and I can barely breathe I am so congested. And this is 2 days on cold meds. Lucy is coughing and Mo is fighting the same crap I am. I am so afraid of being run ragged when we are up there that when we got back we'd be a thousand times worse off.

I so don't want to disappoint everyone but know that they'd understand. I was looking so forward to getting to spend the time with everyone up there. :sad1:

What to do, what to do? :confused3

Sounds like it may be the right decision even if it is tough. Good luck deciding, but most of all lots of :wizard: that all of the nasty junk leaves you all alone ASAP.

We've got something like that going around too. Terra has mentioned several times last night and today that her tummy feels "icky". I kind of had it last week, Brendan last week and Rachel over the weekend. Hopefully now it will go away before most of us head to Oklahoma.

I'm glad that things are better this afternoon. It's tough, I know. My mom and Erin were very much that was as were my dad and I.

Woohoo!! I am so totally jealous of your trip. I'd love the opportunity to really participate in MouseFest sometime. Enjoy!!!!

Good evening all! Just in case, I'm going to give a premptive Happy Thanksgiving and safe travels to all! I forsee tomorrow being a cleaning day since the dining room still hasn't been touched. Then Wednesday will be a cooking and packing day. Thursday's meal will be served about 10:30 and then we're hitting the road not long after. We'll be back from Oklahoma on Sunday sometime. Now if only I wasn't back to feeling pretty crappy, all would be good. :(

We'll get our exchange items out sometime next week. I haven't had a chance to help Terra make the one she wants to send along as well.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Theresa - have you heard from Glynis lately? It's been a while since we've heard from her.

Deb - I hope you aren't coming down with something.

Anne Marie - I'm glad to hear that you and Katie were able to make up.

Jen - I hope you have a wonderful time with your dad. :wizard: that Dallas wins, just so the trip is extra sweet!

PSA, for those of you traveling in the first part of 2009:

*** From January 9 - April 3, Epcot will close at 8:00pm on FRIDAYS. Extra Magic Hour for Resort Guests will take place from 8:00pm - 11:00pm (11/24/08) ***

Cool. We arrive on Friday Feb. 27 and are staying at Boardwalk. The plan is to walk to Epcot, eat dinner at Yakitori House and stroll around the World. We can stay late and maybe have a little quieter visit.

Hi, everyone! Long time, no communicate!

I'm still here, still pregnant, and doing just fine! We've just been without internet for the last 3 weeks! It's been horrible. We were with one provider, and I would have internet for about 2 hours a day, so we started searching for a new provider. Because of where we live, it's not an easy thing! We found one company, they came out last Wednesday, and discovered that because of all our trees, (and a neighbor's house) they couldn't get a signal. Alan found another company, and they came out today, found a good signal, and hooked us up! So, I'm back!!!!!!!

Things here are really good. Mary had strep throat, but we caught it early, and she's healthy once again. Actually, we all are (with the exception of Alan who has some cracked ribs from helping his sister move and having a couch dropped on his chest). We are ready for the baby to come (any day now, the doctor says, but I'm hoping to wait until after Thanksgiving.), and thought he was going to come last Monday. However, after about 5 hours in the hospital and a shot of Terbutalene, the contractions stopped, and they sent us home.

My neighbors threw me a baby shower, and collected almost 300 dollars on a Target gift card for us to use for things we need. We were so touched!

Becky - I'm so glad that the package made it to you! I wanted to make sure I got them in the mail before the baby came.

I know I'll never get caught up, but maybe some kind soul will give me a condensed version???? I promise that I'll better (at least until the baby comes).

It's nice to be back!
