Thursday and Friday I had no mail. Was beginning to think my postwoman was in cahoots with Elizabeth's postman.
Let's hope not!
Can you get a post office box, instead of mail delivery?
You know, if we had problems like that all the time we would get a P.O. box. It just happened for 2 weeks around Christmas last year. We got nothing but junk mail. NOTHING that was "envelope" mail. I complained over the phone, then I went TO the post office and complained, and nothing ever came of it. I called the leasing office to see if maybe our mail might have been caught in someone else's forwarding order, but nobody with our last name had moved out. Now the only thing we have problems with is DH's
WalMart statement. It shows up about 2/3 of the time, the rest of the months it never arrives. He has called WalMart and of course they have no clue, no record of the statements being returned, nothing.
Tammi - Sounds like a wonderful day for your family!
DH said he wants to cook a big dinner on Thursday after work, so he went to the store today and bought a turkey and some stuff to make side dishes. He wants to try to put up some sort of a tree, too. I just don't know what we will put on the tree, because whatever we put on there will have to be able to withstand the tree being knocked over repeatedly. DH doesn't think she will knock the tree over, but she will. And it won't just happen once.
We had Chinese for dinner tonight. What a PITA to figure out! We lost or threw away our old menu. I looked online, but they don't have a website. We called another place that does have a menu online but they don't deliver to us.

So we called back the first place and ordered stuff we could remember from the old menu. That was fine.
During dinner some JFK thing came on TV and DS kept talking. DH got REALLY frustrated with DS, so he stomped off to watch in the bedroom. Hello? It's a TV SHOW for crying out loud! That footage is 45 years old. It didn't happen today, it wasn't breaking news, it's not like we were in imminent danger and DS was babbling over the information. DS talks over the TV every day. He has extremely poor impulse control and he just blurts out whatever he thinks. DH should know that by now, and NOT have such an immature reaction to it!

I told DH more than once today that I am in a bad mood and he needs to just stay out of my way. Adding fuel to the fire at this point is very unwise. I might just drive away and never come back!
