Deb - Cute ornaments!
The Fry's link says they are sold out of Wii Fit. I found one at Circuit City earlier but I didn't order it because I was running to get Princess. I don't think they are THAT scarce, I am just not looking in the right place at the right time.

Happy Birthday Colby!

Kristine - what's the name of the website for free virus software that you use? Mine just ran out.

I'm not Kristine, but we use AVAST! for antivirus and AVG for antispyware. It has worked well for us so far and we've used it for years

Happy Birthday Colby!

Thanks Becky, I'll show him in the morning. Did you open your ornaments yet?

Theresa did Abi get a package yet? If you talk to Glynis would you ask if her kids received theirs? I'm hoping that nothing broke in the mail.

Nicholas did great during his testing. He does have allergies and mild asthma. The pulmonary function test showed some lung damage. He his greatest allergic reaction was to dust mites (great ), followed by mold and tree pollen. So we got another inhaler and nasal spray, and he has to go back in 2 months. After reading up on this asthma business I've come to understand that the inhaler is for maintenance to reduce bronchial flare-ups and/or bronchitis.

I hope all of you are doing well.

It is cold here and only supposed to get colder. It is supposed to get down to 24 degrees tomorrow. Plus it may do the 4 letter s word.;)

I did not get my ornaments done or in the mail this weekend. I need to do them soon.

I hope that you can control his issues. I am also allergic to dust mites, but really only notice it when I am in a very dust situation. Sweeping the garage or cellar will always set me off.

Yes I did. Thank you very much. I love them. Here is a picture of what I got.

today ended up being a very sad day.....a lifelong friend (and my current neighbor) died this morning. She was diagnosed with lung cancer and went in for surgery to remove the tumor. She was supposed to be in the hospital for 7 days...instead she never made it out.....I got the call as we were getting into the car and heading out for the day. The kids were all crying....just awful

I'm so sorry Kristine. I hope that Jonathan is able to make it home for the service. :grouphug: to you all.

Too perfect so I've got to ditto it again. Happy birthday, Colby!!!

Good Morning DDA!

It snowed last night. The grassy areas and the trees are coated in a fluffy white snow. It's beginning to look alot like Christmas!
The roads and sidewalks are clear. This is the kind of snow I like!

Oooo. I'd love that kind of snow. We had some flurries on Saturday and I was thrilled.

I brought the kids to school, delivered the brownies to Colby's class for snack (Nick made the brownies for Colby  completely by himself, without being asked) and stayed for Nick's award ceremony. Now I'm doing laundry and checking email. I need to get to the post office to pick up my package :goodvibes when I run out to pick up Colby. This afternoon I hope to get Colby's room cleaned and some more clothes switched around.

How sweet of Nick! :cloud9:

Nothing like a Monday.

What a day for you! I hope the doctor is able to convince your mom to heed some advice. I hope that you can get things worked out with DS and homework. I can't believe they still argue that he doesn't need a 504.

Good evening all! Just a fly by post before I completely crash. It's just been one of those generally busy, slightly overwhelming, too much to do kind of days. We did get to have a nice dinner at a local deli that was hosting a fundraiser for a Christmas shopping project that Kristi's church is doing. There were lots of people we don't see often there so it was nice to chat. Mostly it was just nice not to have to cook after a long day.

Tomorrow I'm babysitting and sending the car to work with Phil so that I have no reason to go and do anything. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to work on the playroom, but mostly I just want to sleep as late as I can before the baby gets here. After that, any moments of calmness would be icing on the cake. :cloud9:

Talk to you all tomorrow. Good night.

Jen did you ever answer the question as to whether the cruise friend was becoming a boyfriend or are you taking the 5th :rolleyes1
O i dont think i saw that question--but no this cruise friend is not becoming a boyfriend--if so, i would tell you guys! haha

I had a bit of a scary experience today--it does not sound like much, but it made me worried.
I was at Kohls shopping and I kept noticing the same male everywhere I was. He came up to me and commented on what a lucky guy my boyfriend is and he was noticing my qualities from afar..and it was just freaky. I left and continue dmy shopping. As i was leaving, i noticed him going out right after i did..i got on the phone with my dad and talked loudly to him, telling him where i was and pretending he was on his way to get me..luckily, the guy went the other way, but i was really scared for awhile there

Do you know what was in my box? It was 2 perfect Christmas ornaments and they certainly made me smile.

Thank you Elin. The little camper immediately reminded me of my little signature camper

It did me too! Which is why I bought it! :rotfl2: I am glad you like them both, and you are welcome! :goodvibes

Here are a couple of shots from Colby's party last night.

A big present

Loved this! My girls used to do this. Actually... they still do it sometimes! I will have to try to find some pictures... :rotfl2:

Looks like Colby had a good party! :goodvibes

Hey you got my camper! :lmao: Aren't they beautiful? You have saved me from having to take a picture and post them. Thank you so much Elin! They truly are perfect for Deb & I.

You are welcome, Vicki! You have to take a picture since your camper is different. ;)

(Not really... it is green instead of red!)

That's what we got today and it was yucky!!!!!!!!! I had to drive to Marquette to drop some cables off and stopped about 15 miles from my destination and dropped them off at an alternate location so I could turn around and come back.

I don't think we really got any. It is too dark out for me to tell right now. ;) I am glad you were able to turn around!

Elin I forgot to tell you that Colby said thank you for his birthday gift. What gift you ask? Well when I opened my ornaments he found the bubble wrap and knew that you must have sent it to him as a birthday present :rotfl: :rotfl: I said absolutely and he thanked you :lmao: :lmao:

I made sure to send him lots too! ::yes::
