Tammi she is jealous because she sees you are a better mom to her daughter then she is.

The fact is, she wasn't helping! Birthday parties are hectic. If she is mad/jealous/whatever then she will just have to get over it!

today ended up being a very sad day.....a lifelong friend (and my current neighbor) died this morning. She was diagnosed with lung cancer and went in for surgery to remove the tumor. She was supposed to be in the hospital for 7 days...instead she never made it out.....I got the call as we were getting into the car and heading out for the day. The kids were all crying....just awful

I am sorry, Kristine! I hope Jonathan can make it to the funeral.

Thanks to Sears & their family & friends sale I will soon have my dishwasher I didn't think I would be getting one till after the 1st of the year, but the price was to hard to resist. Regular price was $269, marked down to $199. Plus there was an additional 20% taken off during checkout & I found a code for another $5 off, so final total with tax $188 I chose store pick up, so no delivery charge either!

Oh btw it is a black Kenmore, no bells or whistle's, but anything is better than me having to hand wash all the time.

Good Morning DDA!

It snowed last night. The grassy areas and the trees are coated in a fluffy white snow. It's beginning to look alot like Christmas!
The roads and sidewalks are clear. This is the kind of snow I like!

My bosses said there was snow like that when they left Indiana yesterday. No snow for me, thanks!

DH is off today. I forgot about that when I went to bed. I kept thinking he would get up for work ANY MINUTE. Nope. I do have to work, so I better go get in the shower. Chat with you all later!

Thanks, now comes the part I hate, the wrapping. Yes it must be wrapped no bags here, problem is I'm not very good at it. I mean it looks nice, just not the professional look if my one aunt did it.

no, the other side of me.....this lady was way too young to die. I was hoping to put it out of my mind for just today....but it's the FIRST thing Kirsten got up and talked about.

Oh no. Was this the neighbor that you took in due to the weather a while ago? I believe she was elderly.

not yet.....they are vacillating as to when they want to do the funeral. They are thinking Friday, which would make it easier to get him in....but I don't want to make arrangements until I know for sure.

Yes, you did! This was Kristin's first major foray into fashion for the workplace and that is what was tough for her, I think. She is not (and her position isn't either) a suit kind of gal and she can't wear most of the junior style clothes that she has worn in the past so finding appropriate clothing that wasn't too casual or downright trashy-looking seemed to be a problem at our JCP yesterday. I think you and the girls did very well!!

I was disappointed in most of the clothes too....for me as I need a few new items (or maybe just I need to repurpose some of my clothes ). My big thing is I do NEED more shoes....but finding those is nearly impossible.

Colby is going to be so excited when he gets home. Tammi's Donald is perfect. I search for some the other day, but didn't find that one. Thank you all. He will have to look at all the pages so as not to miss any of the quoted ones

I brought the kids to school, delivered the brownies to Colby's class for snack (Nick made the brownies for Colby completely by himself, without being asked) and stayed for Nick's award ceremony. Now I'm doing laundry and checking email. I need to get to the post office to pick up my package when I run out to pick up Colby. This afternoon I hope to get Colby's room cleaned and some more clothes switched around.
