I believe that is 10*9*8*7 (or 5040). The ones column can have one of 10 numbers (0-9) which means the 10's can only have 9 (because whichever number you choose can't be repeated), the 100's column can be one of 8 numbers and the 1000's column can be one of 7 numbers. Don't take my word for that but I think that would be the answer.

7th grade is absolutely kicking my butt.

DS has that Science Fair rough draft due tomorrow, final draft due next week. He hasn't started it.
His election notebook is due next Friday. He has TONS of articles, fliers, pamphlets, whatever but he hasn't organized any of it. He also has to write a paper explaining why he chose to support his candidate. At least that paper is more of his own opinions and thoughts as opposed to research that requires a bibliography. I detest bibliographies.

I am working late Thursday night, I have Princess starting at 6 AM Saturday until noon Sunday so this weekend is shot. Ugh!

I got a pin code! Of course, it's to my maiden name.... shouldn't matter right? Not that we'll probably use it. Mine is 5-nights/6-days including tickets for $371 per adult (at a value). No dining or gift card included, as far as I can tell...


ETA: I just ran the numbers compared to no pin code.... it would be a savings of about $450 (~34%). Pretty good, but it's only for travel in September-December.

Edit 2: It says there's a room only discount available if I call... I guess it won't hurt to call tomorrow, although I don't see us picking up and traveling in the next 2 months.

Have you ever had another email address registered? The one I received was to my maiden name (been married 4.5 years!) and to an email address I haven't used for at least 3 years. When I logged in today to find it, I had - LITERALLY - 17,603 emails there!

We only have 2 active e-mails. I just checked both of them and I don't have a PIN. I had another old e-mail but the account is closed so I couldn't access it even if I could remember the password, which I can't.

All I have is an e-mail from DS's language arts teacher saying he is damn near failing because his classwork grade is so low. He has 2 assignments that are flat out missing so they are "0"s, and some really low grades on other work because he was careless and turned them in without finishing. Yet they don't think the ADD has any impact on his classroom performance? Whatever.
I know I have a hard time keeping up with all the little piddly stuff he is supposed to keep track of, so I am sure it is really hard for him. But the low average is on CLASSWORK. I can't help him with that, and they took away his guaranteed modifications. Not good. NOT GOOD.

That does not sound good. I hope that you are able to work it all out with DS and the teacher.

Well, unfortunately, it is strep throat. Luckily, we caught it pretty early, so hopefully, the antibiotics will kick in and no one else will catch it. Knock on wood!

We've got the first dose of medicine in her, and she's resting comfortably on the couch while I disinfect the house.

I am afraid, however, that Leslie will come down with it, too. They've been sharing a bed lately, due to nightmare issues. Still, hopefully, it won't be too bad.

I'll keep Mary home from school tomorrow, and send her back once she's been on the medicine for over 24 hours.

Good job being proactive, Mom! I hope the others avoid it.

I had gathered 3 or 4 oatmeal based cookies to consider for "cookie day" this year, I'll let you know if any of them are any good!

ETA: ....But only if I ever get to see pictures of said fez. Rumor has it they're on your computer now.....

You know what's odd? I scheduled a payment to my Disney Visa for last Friday, and I realized I never got a confirmation e-mail. I logged on to Chase to check it and it said an e-mail they sent had bounced back. The payment is fine. There is another account that always asks me to confirm the e-mail because the same thing happens, but this is the first time it has happened with Chase.

Well, after a minor scare last night after losing one of my fares, it popped back up this morning on the third try. So, we are now officially ticketed for CA at Christmas. Even better, we get to fly into Santa Ana which means my friend can pick us up and we don't have to worry about shuttles, etc. So we'll head out there Dec 21 and come back the 26th. I think we'll hit DL on the 22nd. I know it's going to be crazy busy, but it's a must do after all. We'll stay with my best friend and spend Christmas Day with Phil's family. Now if we can just work it out so that Phil actually gets to be there on Christmas Day as well.

Oh, good. I just listened to a rather cryptic message on our machine. It was a mom from DS's school. DS used to be really good friends with her son, but then last year her son was hanging out with a thug and they were mean to DS. This year the thug is gone, so DS talks with her son and has some classes with them but they aren't good friends anymore.

I have no idea why she was calling - she just said she wants to talk to us (she knows DH pretty well, and her message greeted both of us) and for us to call her at our convenience. I just called and got her machine so I left her a message that I was returning her call. I wonder what surprises are in store for me store now?
