DDA Chapter 14

I can't remember...but, is anyone familiar with these little Flip camcorders? I am thinking of getting 1 for Jackie for christmas

We love TS meals so they are definitely worth it for us. I just don't want to pay MORE on the plan for the exact same thing we could get for less OOP! Since DS waffles on how much he eats it would make much more sense to just let him order according to how hungry he is each time. I am happy to let him order from adult or kid menu, as much or as little as he wants, I don't care. There is no way he needed appetizer - entree - dessert from the adult menu at every dinner, though. At Cali Grill & Coral Reef he ordered from the kids' menu and it was just right for him. He did have some sushi at Cali Grill in addition to his entree.

That's my problem as well. Sometimes I am not that hungry and I just have an appetizer for dinner. Other times Chuck and I share one appetizer, entree & dessert together. Mostly, it depends on my appetite. I also rarely have room for an entree & dessert let alone an appetizer.

What are some of the top things on your wish list?

Time with my family. I really don't think there is any "stuff" on my list this year. I'll have to think about it because I know people are going to be asking.

Mom is at the airport. Still. Her flight was supposed to leave at 12:50pm EST. It's now 2:43pm. Apparently Vegas only has one landing runway open due to construction?! Come on - it's Vegas people! That'd be like Orlando only having one runway open...

ETA: It looks like her flight just departed at 2:35pm.

Okay i joined Facebook and now I am trying to figure it out. When I really need to do laundry but just don't have the motivation for it.

I don't have one but I think they are going to be a hot gift, for sure, especially for the tween/teen group! I think it would be a great gift, and you can find some really good deals on them about now.

We JUST put a load of laundry in. We absolutely have to get through the loads of DS's uniform pants, uniform shirts, and PE uniform tonight. DH is off tomorrow but if I leave anything other than towels for him he won't bother with it. There is a load of his work pants and stuff, so maybe he will wash that himself so he will have something to wear on Tuesday.

They will be upset. My kids understand Mommy and Daddy time, and don't mind as long as it isn't anywhere that they deem fun. WDW is not a place that is acceptable for us to go without them. I suspect that Janet may be in the same boat.

You are correct Deb! They do understand we need our time, but where we are going is there place as well.

I still have not told them. I know I have to, just not sure when.

Janet from POR, you have to take the boat to DTD and then take the boat to SSR or take a leisurely, enjoyable walk over to Turf Club. We ate there during our December trip and it was nice but I'm not sure it would be worth going out of your way like that for it.

Lucy has the older version, the zebra, and she loves it. Even though she can't yet touch her toes to the base. My girlfriend picked it up for me at a consignment shop for $5, and it was in perfect condition.

Robyn - Yay for finishing the painting! I hope things settle down so you can sleep!
