This morning on "Sunday Morning" they had a article on natural salts and how popular they are. They showcased a store that sells like 90 different types. They have salt tastings where they put it on different kinds of foods. They showed salt cellars (my MIL used to have these - they are so cute - little individual salt cups with little teeny spoons for scooping out the salt).

I have to leave at 7am CST in the morning. The new acting FS director (the section manager I'll be replacing) are meeting in St. Ignace (3-1/2 hours away) at 11:30 EST with one of my staff who we are going to ask to replace me. Once again, this will be an acting position. We all have to interview with at least 2 other people for the position and they have to rate us the highest before we get it permanently. It is kind of interesting that all three of us that are "moving up" will be in the same place together.

If you can find the canned version og Wolfgang Puck's butternut squash soup... buy it! It is in the organic section at our grocery store. It was yummy.

I have had lots of bear encounters. Two of our camps, have regular bear encounters. Everyone who goes there must sign a bear information agreement, with bear safety information All food, toiletries, etc must be locked in bear safe containers. Tables, trash cans and things must be sprayed down with bleach to get rid of the food smells.

I want to see a grizzly bear and polar bear in the wild.
