Hal is gonna shoot me for this, but I gotta post it. He put on the wig and I said he looked just like his mother. :lmao:

Hal and I went to our Nephew's 30th birthday party last night. He is a Penn State grad so the party was themed around Penn State and Joe Paterno.

Hal and I dressed up as Joe Pa and so did Hal's brother Bob. I didnt have a tie but did have a blue jacket on earlier.

What a fun theme! But where are your black shoes???? :rotfl2:
(Joe Pa does need a fashion coordinator, doesn't he??)

Terry - we need a picture of Hal's mother so we can see the resemblance. ;)

I need to make cheap dinners this week

Cheap meal that we make with ingredients we always have in the house.

Casserole Italiano
1# ground beef
1/3 c chopped onion
1 med clove garlic, minced
1/2-1 t oregano
1/2 t salt
1 can tomato soup
1/3 c water
2 c cooked noodles
1 c shredded processed cheese (we just use cheese slices)

Brown beef with seasonings. Combine with soup, water, noodles in 1-1/2 qt. casserole dish. Place cheese over top. Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

does it end up being very runny? sounds good...but if it is too soupy, the picky kids won't eat it

Here's a preview of Mo and Lucy in their costumes. I don't have one of Emma on my camera from yesterday. I'll have to wait until Dana sends me the pics from her camera.

Mo as Barbie in the Island Princess (She better start praying for warm weather on Friday!)

It is not runny at all. I didn't realize it but Chuck no longer puts the water in it either. He has made it the last couple of times so don't add the water and it won't be runny at all. I don't ever remember it being runny even when we added the water.

I will give it a try!!! :)

Stephanie and I have

40 days until we leave for our happy place.

42 days until the cruise.

46 days until we get back to the World :cool1: :thumbsup2  :woohoo: :dance3: :cheer2: :jumping1: :drinking1 :jumping2: :tinker: :mickeyjum

I started packing. Elizabeth should be so proud.....

You know, they tout these pre-AP classes as being such a great thing and then they assign these PITA "projects". I am going to be projected to death before DS finishes 7th grade.

I did get him to agree to the improv class for Spring. I think he will like it.

Stephanie - Glad you got the ME stuff sorted out.

Speaking of ME...
When we were checking out of AKV we didn't get our ME thing. I called down and they gave me our pick-up time, no big deal. The next morning the paper was there and they had printed the tags to put on the luggage, too. I thought that was weird. We ended up having to have them all reprinted because we were checking a bag we didn't check originally. It was kind of a mess.

So I am wondering if that's a DVC thing, or if they print the tags for your bags and give them to you ahead of time now? I guess it would save time at the resort airline desk if the bags were already tagged for the flight.

I always use SW so no resort checkout for me.:guilty:

How about "Scrambled Steak" or "Hamburger Gravy" as Vicki calls it? Just don't use self-rising flour! ;)
I went to Wal Mart and got seasoned tilapia and seasoned salmon. This will be my first time trying this. :cool1: My DD is allergic to chicken, so we are sick of ground beef:goodvibes

I am making easy meals this week, and they are coincidentally inexpensive because they are homemade, Stephanie. Spaghetti sauce, chicken & noodles, vegetable beef soup and chili. They are all in the crock pot too!
Tell me about the chicken and noodles. Since I bought fish, my DD can have that while the rest of us have chicken.:cool1:

Y'all look so cute...:cool1: :cool1:

This darn dog keeps sneezing. It wouldn't be so bad but she's perched on my lap as usual. I'm not liking this doggy wetness on my face. YUK!!!!!!!!
