DDA Chapter 13

Cape May Breakfast?? Donald is there now besides Minnie, Goofy, Chip & Dale

Are Chip and Dale still there? I thought I read somewhere that Donald replaced Chip and Dale. I hope so...the more characters, the better!

Prayers for Dylan, Theresa!

I just got off the phone with my friend Barbie. Her surgery went well and now she has a rod fusing her femur back together. She also has broken ribs, a torn ligament in her ankle, burns on her face from the air bag, etc. Luckily, the other driver was insured. It is also very fortunate that she had her ten-year-old in the back with the two-year-old, because the paramedics told her a front seat passenger would most likely not have survived the crash.

This is one of my biggest fears for Jonathan.....these kids all think they are immortal.....and I worry that they will drink & drive.

How scary

Oh I am fine with any type of dining, just wondering what others like.

Thanks for the invite we live right down the street from there and have free tickets, but that is Mya's Carnival Day at Stonwall Jackson. We will take a rain check, ok?

We will hold you to that! We just live across from NorthPark. We pass by the school on our way to breakfast at IHOP. ;)

Well, for dining in general we like: Boma (breakfast or dinner), Tusker House breakfast, Yak & Yeti dinner, Kona Cafe breakfast or dinner, Wolfgang Puck Cafe dinner, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Flying Fish, Coral Reef and Cali Grill. We had a great time at the Cape May dinner with all of the DDA gang! We like Narcoosee's but I was coming own with a virus the night we ate there so it wasn't my favorite experience. Citrico's was my favorite in '07 but fell flat this year. We won't be back to Garden Grill or Tutto Italia.

I read a thread on the Dis where a bunch of ladies were raving about peppermint mocha coffee mate.....I bought some today and HATED IT. I am so disappointed....I didn't realize there was sugar in it. I never put sugar in my coffee...so the first sip was a shocker

Haven't tried that one. I always put sugar (just under a teaspoon) in my coffee along with a TON of half & half. I know the pumpkin CoffeeMate is sweet. I had to warn DH not to put sugar in his coffee on top of the CoffeeMate because that would be really gross. :scared: I think all flavored creamer is sweet, for future reference.

I worry about DS because boys seem to drink and DRAG RACE. Or they drag race when they are stone cold sober and just lose control of the car. :sad2:

I am pretty sure you are right...I guess prior to purchase I never really thought about it....and it is REALLY sweet

Off to wrestle Princess into her ballet outfit. (She loves ballet, it is the tights that give us a problem.) Chat with you all later!

Have a great trip Robyn!

Why is it I never get a PIN code, we have AP's but I didn't get the e-mail.

Welcome Home Chanon,

Your pictures are amazing, I wouldn't want to have the task of choosing which ones to keep.

Kristine,

I'm considering doing the VIP tour at Seaworld with Brandon, have you done that one?

I just got my flu shot.
:thumbsup2 I need to get mine too.

Well we don't have date's but I have started booking ADR's late February. Any recomendations?

I got Cinderalla's royal table and I'm hoping there's a Princess/Pirate Party.
My kids love Chef Mickey's.

So did all off you with an AP receive the email with a pin code for Nov. dates for $49 a night at the values? Also being able to shop early at World of Disney & buying some merchandise at 35% off on select dates.

To bad I can't take advantage of it :sad2:
:sad2: I didn't get it. I never seem to get those emails.:headache:

Theresa,
 for Dylan

Amy,
:wizard: for Barbie

yes, we did it in June.....

we liked it a lot. You get reserved seating for all the shows....so you don't have to battle the crowds and get there extremely early. It also includes some behind the scenes stuff...you get to pet a penguin....and lunch was included. We liked the lunch because it very close to the Shamu pool.

I don't remember the cost....but we felt it was worth it

Here's some pics to give you an idea of what I am talking about...

Very scary, indeed!

This guy was 44-years-old. Two people called 911 (before he hit Barbie) to report he was swerving and ran a red light. The guy behind him was honking at him. The car right in front of Barbie managed to swerve out of his path, but then he hit Barbie.

Here's a picture. His Rodeo is on the left...Barbie's Escalade on right.

Should I say the heck with the F&W and go for my birthday so I can see all the birthday surprises?? What about you Deb? Wanna go for your birthday????

When is your birthday? We have to go for F&WF next year or for a DDA meet. There are places that Chuck doesn't want to go without having a group of us. He keeps commenting on how much fun we had with our DDA buddies.

I am so glad your friend & her children came out of this alive  The picture above brings back such a horrid memory for me. Gary & the boys were in a accident like this & that is one phone call I will never forget & the boys(they were 6 & 4)to this day still talk about it. There was an angel watching over them that night, just like there was for your friend
