Great news Elin!!

Sure is! :) I hope she has twenty more and that one of them is just perfect for her and also pays her tons of money.

And most importantly, allows her to take the time off for Christmas that she needs. :rotfl:

Becky I hope you have a good time at Hershey park!

Kathrin has her first interview scheduled already. :teeth:

That's wonderful! I hope she is able to schedule at least several more interviews, and that when the time comes for offers that she has several to choose from!

I know nothing about golf, is the lower score better :confused3

I see Elin has already replied. :) Yes, low score is the winner in golf. I think everyone had a good time, including Emma.

I have done a few loads of laundry today and that is it. I think I will make DH go to the grocery store and just pick up some bread and that sort of thing. We have stuff on hand for dinner for the next 4 nights so I don't think I really need to go to Super Target today.

We got an invitation to DH's company thing. Last year it was a Christmas party, but this year they are having it in early November. He is still mad about the way it went last year, where it dragged and dragged until he had to leave without ever receiving a prize. At the end of the night they told the people who were still there to take as many prizes as they wanted, so people who left before the end got nothing, not even the next day. :sad2: I would like to go to this one, but he says he doesn't want to go. If he has to work the next day we probably won't go because they have no concept of keeping to their own timeline.

We got the strangest bill yesterday. It is driving me batty to have to wait until tomorrow to call on it. It is a bill for medical services for DS, but NOT from his pediatrician or a lab. Other than his check-up in August he hasn't been to the doctor! There is no date of service on it (it says details were on the original statement, which we didn't get). It has the WRONG apartment number on the address, and it says it is delinquent and being turned over to collections. For $30. I have NO CLUE what the bill is for, how many statements they have sent that we didn't get, nothing. Bizarre. Just bizarre.

It would drive me crazy not to be able to deal with it now too, Elizabeth. Good luck tomorrow!

Mail thief strikes again.

Becky - another great instalment, as usual.

It's just so ODD. We used to get bills from this facility back when DS went to the ophthalmologist at the children's hospital. That was YEARS ago. His pediatric practice does their own billing, and lab services are billed from the lab (Quest Diagnostics). I am curious to find out what this is for!

Happy Belated Birthday! Sorry I didn't get on yesterday to tell you then.

I thought I'd share Brandon's football picture,

Very cute!

That is terrific! I bet her new employer will understand. She just needs to tell them about it, that it's been planned for a while, and they should understand. If they don't, it might not be the place she really wants to work. Randy has always told potential employers when they offered him jobs if we had plans and they've always been understanding.

I had the best time yesterday, and it was a long day. We got in about 9:30 last night and crashed. It was a whole lot of fun. Robyn and Emma are so genuine, and I liked Joe a lot too.

This was the first time I got to meet Elizabeth's DH and DS, and they were fun too. The kids all seemed to get along well.

I'm off to do more laundry. Have a good evening everyone.

Sounds like what I've been going through with the "Doc in a box" that I went to last year. I got a card from collections for $24 that I never got a bill for, I paid the bill and asked to be given a breakdown on the bill so that I could handle it directly with them, I never reeived anything. Then a few weeks ago I get a phone call and could I pay them the $125 that I owed them or they would have to send it to collections, well I insisted that they tell me exactly what the bill was for. She said that they sent me 11 statements, I never got one so I don't know what they were sending. After many phone calls to them I found out that they had sent the bill to my insurance and it was denied because it was a duplicate. The girl said she ould look into it and get back with me, needless to say I didn't get that call either, so I called my insurance, turns out they had double billed for the same visit, using two differnet codes. After reviewing it my insurance determined that I owe nothing, I still have to get with the billing department, I want a statement from them that I an paid in full for the next time they try and harass me.

I am thinking that is all it will take too, Marci.

I am so glad you all had a good time yesterday!

This one is weird because in one column it shows we owe $10, $20 billed to insurance, total owed at this time by patient $30. OK, so, what's up with the insurance? And where is my EOB from the insurance company? It just makes no sense, not to mention that I can't think of what physician it would be.

Official mini-golf scores from yesterday's game:

Randy - 43
Andrew - 49
Marci - 50
Robyn - 50
Elizabeth - 51
DS - 54
Jake - 56
Emma - 76 (She was hilarious! She would swing her club right handed, left handed, one handed, not looking at the hole, anything goes! :rotfl2: )

:cloud9: Too sweet!

Elin, Hope Kathryn gets just the job she wants. Sounds good so far that she heard from the Head Hunter.

If she tells them in the second interview that she already has plans, most places are good about taking that time off.

OKAY this is really Terry not sure how i got on Stephanie's profile!!!!!

Sounds like the Texas meet went without a hitch. Everyone having a good time is always fun. Now we want pictures!!!!!

This is too freaky!!!!!
