Olivia pretended to surf every time we went down a hill or ramp. Virginia was taking a nap, thus the blanket over the stroller.

Saw Mickey out in the world showcase area.

Headed to the Character Conection and saw Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Pluto and Goofy. Jeff got a Moosehead beer in Canada and I got a Pina Colada at San Juan. Then Jeff and Olivia rode soarin and then Jeff rode MS while Olivia played on the playscape at the end of that ride. This is about when Virginia lost her voice. I alternated Tylenol and Motrin with her all day. We head back to the room get the girls changed for bed and Jeff heads back to Epcot as it was EM evening and he wanted to see Illuminations.

Elizabeth- I am glad a)that DS made it through today (so far) without a phone call home. and b) that DH's testing went well. But forgive my pooh bear brain (one of my volunteers says this)...I didn't realize your husband had a disease making the colonoscopy a neccesity.

Did you ever figure out your column problem??

He has ulcerative colitis. He was diagnosed sometime after his mom died (she died in 1991) so this has been going on for a LONG time. The last time he had a scope done the majority of his large intestine was covered in ulcers, and the tissue was very red and angry and inflamed. We have decided that selling chips has healed his colon. :rotfl2: This is his first exam since he changed jobs.

No, my columns are not fixed. I have just temporarily given up on trying to fix it.

Saturday we go to MK as we are headed to fantasyland we see the step mother and the step sisters,
PICT0019.jpg

the girls have dresses on that have a cameo of Cinderella on it Drizella calls for a servant which is one of the cast members that the girls have smudges on their dresses. The servant gives her Mickey stickers which she places over the Cinderella Cameo.

We ride the Carasoual twice the second time Olivia got to ride Cinderellas horse.

Time to Check in for Cinderella’s Castle. The food was so so. The girls got magic wands and wishing stars. We leave the castle and go to Ariels grotto.
PICT0067.jpg

Then to ride some rides when Jeff went to get a fast pass for the Pooh ride we got surprise fast pass to Mickey’s philharmonic. We ate lunch at Columbia harbor house. Watched the parade after which I had my first dole whip float.
PICT0163.jpg

Oh yummy, will definitely be having them again. even Virginia waned a taste.
PICT0164.jpg

Olivia would not try it.
Saw Smee, Wendy and Peter Pan. went to play on Donald's boat.

Elizabeth - I hope things improve for DS. I'm glad your mom is feeling okay after treatment this week. Glad that DH's appt went well!!

Bernadette - I'm sorry that Emma is struggling to fit in. I hope she finds that right friend soon. :wizard:

Robyn - Have a great visit!

Elin - Sorry that we missed you too! Our dinner ran late too so I totally understand. I'm glad you had a good time! I was afraid of the scale on our return too as I feel like I ate constantly! (Terra and I did our best to use Phil's credits too. ;) ) Luckily, I only had 2 lbs come home with me and they have already left.

Jennifer - So that explains Olivia's communication through motions and signs. She was quite effective! I'm sorry that Virginia followed suit and we didn't get to meet up again. Terra really enjoyed her time with Olivia. The invitation looks great!

Marci - Congrats to Andrew!!! That is spectacular. I'm so glad you have found the right place for him.

Heidi - I hope John is feeling better this afternoon. :wizard:

Chanon - I'm sure you're gone, but CONGRATULATIONS!!!! and GOOD LUCK and ENJOY!!!

Anne Marie - Glad the appraisal seemed to go well. Good luck with the selling process!

Tom - Glad your first lesson went well! I hope you enjoy your time in Leighanna's class.

Sunday our Anniversary we get a late start. I decided since we could not do the photo shoot we would try to do some Photopass pics at all 4 parks. We only make it to 2 parks as the bus waits were longer then 20 minutes. We head to AK to see Pochontas we also see Jiminy Cricket and Rafiki. Get a few Pictures see some birds eat lunch then head to HS, get a few pics then wait for a bus to Riverside, for Dinner at Boatrights. Then take the Bus to Downtown Disney for a little more shopping.

Monday we catch ME at 8:15 am get back to TX at 1:00 pm.
We did a lot of waiting for buses and I felt we wasted to much time waiting for our sit down meals. I’m not sure if I would do the Dining plan again or not. Jeff thinks we should.

Olivia enjoyed her time as well and kept asking when we were going to see you 2 again.

I'm going to try and get to my pictures and trip report this weekend. I haven't even uploaded the pictures yet. There are only 1400 or so, so it shouldn't take long. ;) I've got Kaylin here today and we've made a last minute decision to take the kids to Six Flags tonight as well. Oh yeah, then there's the part where I promised to help Kristi clean her house tomorrow as we're having a get together there tomorrow with a bunch of friends from high school and Kristi has about 8 hours of case notes she needs to get written up for her internship.

If the poor thing doesn't collapse before the end of the year it may be a miracle. On top of working 3 days a week at Mother's Day Out and class, she's started her internship for her counselling Master's which is about 8 hours a week, plus time to type the case notes from the sessions. On top of that, it looks like the giant cell tumor in her arm is back yet again. We thought it was gone for good after her surgery 18 months ago because they ended up putting in cadaver bone. But, her arm looks just like it did before that surgery and she's in big pain again. Insurance doesn't kick in until Nov 1 so she's got an appt right after that and the dr already has her listed (at least in his mind due to prexisiting issues) on his surgery schedule for later in Nov.

Well, I need to go make sure Kaylin isn't awake yet. I haven't heard her, but it's been awhile too. I'll catch you all later.

Bear with me while I brag...

More than seven years after we learned our bright child has significant learning problems, (ADHD, dyslexia, verbal expressive disorder) we got his first report card...

And he got nothing below a 94!

I cried when the e-mail came in, I guess with relief that we made the right decision for him. I know my Mom must have an extra big smile right about now as well, as she took a big part in Andrew's schooling, grandparents day, picking him up, meeting his teachers. I guess that's another reason I'm so emotional. I also know this is only the beginning of what will be difficult years leading up to high school graduation, but I'm thankful that he's doing well now.

I can't imagine what I'll be like when he graduates...

:cool1: :cool1: That is awesome. Tell him that we are ALL proud of him:goodvibes

I hope Chris is feeling better today!

Better and his is at work, but not 100% yet

One day God was looking down at Earth and saw all of
the rascally behavior that was going on.

So he called one of His angels and sent the angel to Earth for a time.

When he returned, he told God, 'Yes, it is bad on Earth; 95% are misbehaving and only 5% are not.

God thought for a moment and said, 'Maybe I had better send down a second angel to get another opinion.'

So God called another angel and sent him to Earth for a time.

When the angel returned he went to God and said, 'Yes, it's true.
The Earth is in decline; 95% are misbehaving, but 5% are being good.'

God was not pleased.
So He decided to e-mail the 5% that were good, because he wanted to encourage them,
and give them a little something to help them keep going.

Do you know what the e-mail said?

Okay, I was just wondering, because I didn't get one either.
:rotfl2:

Hey, I got that email, give me a minute and I'll find it for you

NOT:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

OMG I'M GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!

I'm signing off ladies (and Tom and Chris) so keep the boards going for me when I'm gone! ;)

Love you guys bunches and I'll be thinking of you all!!!

:cool1: :cool1:I hope that tomorrow is the best day of your life, you deserve it:cool1:

I need to head off to work. I'll have to finish catching up later. I am enjoying Elin and Jennifer's trip reports. It will be a great way to end my day :thumbsup2

Elin - I'm loving your trip report. Sounds like you and Bob had a nice relaxing time!

Jennifer - Your trip sounds like fun even with all the ickiness. I'm glad that the girls had a great time. Your photos are darling! I can't believe how big Virginia is! Time flies so fast!!!

Theresa - I'd be happy to pick up the giraffe for you. I'll try to get up there tomorrow, if not, though, I'll do it next week.

Channon - Have a magical day tomorrow! Enjoy every minute of it!

Well, you can all add Alan to your list of sick hubbies. He's had a cold for several days, and he actually agreed to go to the doctor this morning. He's borderline pneumonia, and is on antibiotics for that. He was able to get out of filming the football game tonight which is good because it's raining here, and I don't think that would do him any good at all! We're still going out to eat to a local deli, though.

Oh, Theresa!!! After dinner we're going to IKEA to look for a bed for Jacob. I went to wake him up for school yesterday and one side of his bed had collapsed during the night. It was scary, because his head was kind of trapped between the bed and the wall. Not tightly, but I had horrible visions of what could happen! So, he gets a new bed, pronto!!!

Marci - I forgot to mention how wonderful your son's progress is! You have every right to brag, and we want you to! Tell him congratulations from all his aunties and uncles!

OOOOOH!!! How fun....IKEA:thumbsup2 You'll have to tell me which cool one he gets.

Thanks for picking up the ornament....I would just order of the website but I know you know which one I want. :goodvibes

Poor Alan...at least you don't have to go to the football game. I am going to take my new cutting boards tomorrow...I figure it was just $2 for them so if they get lost at a tournament...oh well!!

I need to pick up my Z-pack when the pharmacy opens. Went for blood work this morning and had him check my throat and ears because they just starting bothering me. He said I am just starting.

Hope the Z-pack works quicly for you. :wizard:

Hope you caught it soon enough :wizard:

.

Tell Andrew congratulations :cheer2:

(I know I could ask our resident TA on here this question, but I am hoping she is off doing something trivial like enjoying her next few days of partying!)

That being said... I have two packages booked for our December trip, as well as a room only reservation for one night. One of the packages is an AP one with DDP (for Bob and me) and the other is a MYW package with dining (for the girls). Can packages be converted to room only reservations or do you have to cancel the package and book the "rooms only" separately?

After seeing how much we cannot eat any more Bob and I are seriously thinking that with the Club lounge and our normal meals (using DDE/TiW) we will not need all those food credits!

You have to cancel the package & rebook your room only. Make sure you book the room before you cancel the package though, I would hate for your room to be snatched up as soon as you cancel & then there be nothung available.

I'm sure someone has already answered & as I read on you will already have this taken care of :goodvibes
