DDA Chapter 12

Of course I have to take DH for his colonoscopy on Friday, so that day will be shot. He is already pestering me about the billing and how he thought it was covered but they are showing we owe $125 up front. And this is MY problem because HE has a busy day tomorrow. Yet he called to tell me this while I was in the middle of giving Princess a bath. (My phone was in my pocket or I never would have answered it.) Isn't it nice to know that DH is the only person in the world who is actually busy AT WORK? Bonehead.
It has been so long since his last colonoscopy I think he was still at his old job where we had the HMO. We could end up owing quite a bit on this one since our insurance isn't that good now. I will call them tomorrow, because he won't do it. Even if he was off tomorrow he wouldn't call, he would whine until I got mad enough to call. That doesn't always work, but because we are looking at a substantial amount of money if they don't bill it properly I will call.
You are such a good wife. ;)

Theresa - the pictures of you and Glynis were wonderful. You both looked VERY happy!

Theresa, thanks for sharing your pics! :goodvibes Everybody looks like they are having a terrific time!

Glynis, that is one LOW baby you are carrying! I hope he decides to stay put while you are visiting with your mom!

Tell me about it! He's not as low as Jacob, though! His head was pressing on my cervix from month 3! This one dropped about 2 weeks ago. Prior to that time, I couldn't breathe as he was pressing on my lungs. Now I just make many frequent trips to the bathroom!

I think I'm in good shape, as I haven't experienced any contractions for many days, now! I have an appointment with my doctor before I leave, and then a quick check in with my old ob/gyn at mom's when I get there. I'm pretty covered!

Glynis your children have grown so much, especially Katie!(I hope I got the name right :upsidedow ).

Hasn't she??? She's really turning into a young lady. It's crazy!

Mary was so proud of the 2 fish that she caught. Theresa kept trying to get a picture of her, but she was twirling the fish around so much I thought they'd fly off the branch! Theresa and I were squealing, trying to get her to stop twirling the fish as visions of fish in our face ran through our heads!

By the end of the visit, my kids were so in love with Aunt Theresa! Mary cried when we got home from dropping her off at the airport. She got really close to Theresa in just a couple of days.

:lmao: They have plenty of fur left :lmao:

Really? Did they tell you that? Or is that what you tell yourself to avoid the guilt of having a big old naked cat?
It's a shame I am not crafty or I could knit a little sweater for Camy out of the fur Aurora sheds. There is plenty to make a little sweater for Pearl, too.

I am laughing so hard :rotfl2:

Jen (and everyone) - Don't forget to say "Rabbit, rabbit" and make a wish before you go to sleep! When you wake up if you say "Rabbit, rabbit" before you say anything else your wish will come true!

I know what Pearl and Camy will wish for. :rolleyes1

Thanks for the reminder & the laughs!

Since it is still warm enough for shorts I am going to go have some apple pie. When it is too cold for shorts I will be sorry, because I really don't think my jeans will fit. But for now, PIE!

Kristine,

I am so sorry that you had to go to the ER. Not a way to end your vacation.

I, like Elizabeth was thinking, maybe something silly happened but it was enough to sideline one of you for just a couple of hours. Just take care of each other and know that another trip is around the corner.

Tell her I cried too!! I did...I cried because I had to leave family.

you make me giggle Elizabeth!!:goodvibes

Theresa, you took some really great pictures. I am so glad you had a fantastic time.

Remember you need to do this for yourself. Our kids will survive as long as we take care of ourselves. Hal would admit that if I took some time for myself, I was a better person in the long run. He also appreciated what I did because he could see for himself what it took to manage the kids without me. I think the hardest part is not feeling guilty when we do that good thing for ourself.
