I just firmed up plans with my parents for this coming weekend. My cousins in MA are holding a memorial service for their dad on Saturday. My parents and I are driving up Friday morning and retuning Sunday morning. Eric is staying here with the girls.
I have told the girls I will not be here but have not told them where we are going or why. I have yet to tell Emma that my uncle died. She has met him all of 3 times, the last time being in 2005. I don't know how to tell her with out it causing a lot of upheaval in her world, even though in reality it really has no impact. She was still upset about my great aunt in May when my aunt died in February. I don't think it impacted her that significantly she just used that as a reason to be upset because she thought it was something she could be upset over.
Oh and Friday is Eric's and my 10th anniversary. Nothing says love/romance like spending the night in a hotel with your parents 350 miles from your DH!!!
Who starts these vicious rumors?![]()
You must pack the maximum allowed luggage! You never know which outfit you will want when you get there!![]()
Nick and I both forgot that he wanted to take a goodie to school with him tomorrow to celebrate his birthday. I thought of it as I was tucking him in at 9:30Needless to say I hurried and made brownies

Good morning all--I get my new student today so my nerves are driving me crazy! Thankfully, we are off ctomorrow, so i just gotta get through today!
So why didn't anyone tell me that ER would make me cry?!
When I was watching Grey's the other night, seeing Kathy Baker on there reminded me of when I used to watch her on Picket Fences. I loved that show.ER use to be a favorite of mine as well, but like some of you I lost interest when the characters were changing.
Which reminds me of an old one I loved to watch, Knots LandingI never did get into Dallas, but I was glued to the tv every week with this one!
Me too!Theresa & Glynis I look forward to hearing about your weekend!
