Someone who is going to Disney soon, would you please do me a favor?

See if they sell paper towel holders, that is the 1 item I forgot about in Jan. when getting a mess of kitchen items.
If they do sell them, just let me know what shop and I will call and order from Disney Merchandising.

Thank you, Heidi

I am so excited, I now have the song from Soaring as my ring tone on my cell phone!!!! :cool1: :yay:

Does anyone know how to resize all images in Photobucket? Or is there are way to post them here so they are smaller then the uploaded size? Without adjusting the size in Photobucket.

Thansk!

You can upload them "bulletin board" size from your computer, which is what we do, but after they are in PhotoBucket I haven't figured out how to resize more than one at a time.

That is what I did, but they are way too big for my trip report. I am not resizing them one at a time.

So I have started a trip report. It does not have pictures yet til I figure out Photobucket.

ETA: So I have started a new photobucket album and am loading pictures in a smaller size. This will be easier then editing them all.

I agree that you need that milkshake, Amy! And, congrats on the weight loss. :)

I am very happy Matty didn't decide to paint the walls... that is what BOTH my lovely daughters did.

Boy Twin of my "First" set did that one morning as well, as his single mom was literally walking out the door for work. And in response, Girl Twin took her diaper off and peed down the hallway! :rotfl: :scared1: :faint:

Elin, your tree will be lovely! I absolutely adore that you decorate in the theme of the hotel. I need to start a notebook with the wonderful ideas from the DDA! :goodvibes

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROBYN!

Happy Birthday Robyn!

I am so excited, I now have the song from Soaring as my ring tone on my cell phone!!!! :cool1: :yay:

I have this on my phone. Everyone jumps when it rings -- they say they feel they are in a movie theater...

Amy -- Not a good start to your day! Luckily, neither of my boys ever did that, but they did lots of other gross things to make up for it. Have that milkshake and congrats on the weight loss.

Both boys had early soccer games, and they weren't pretty. Jake's wasn't too bad. He seemed to keep up with the 10-12 year olds, even though he's 9. We moved up with his team even though he's younger because we like the coach. Andrew's team got killed by their opponent. Those kids were giants -- I swear they are shaving and driving... He has another game at 7:30 tonight.

Have a great evening everyone! :)

those are adorable!! (If you get those can I pay you for a dozen??)

I already ordered them. BUT when they come, if they are really cute and I think we need more I will order another set so I will certainly get you a set too.

ETA: The order is in process, Theresa, so I emailed them to see if they could add another dozen to the order. I will let you know!

Amy sorry you had such a yucky start to your day. Thankfully Garrett or Riley never did that!

Elin the ornaments are really cute!

Debbie good to hear from you!

I know I am missing some so :wizard: & to all!

Sure has been quiet here today ::yes::

So my Aunt has all of her trees in her saloon decorated in this theme. She has glass balls that she painted a solid color like white or orange and then decorated with tiger, cheetah, zebra stripes. She has a lot of wooden and other ornaments that she has found at various stores. I will have to ask her where she found most of them.

Another idea if you have animal shaped cookie cutters. You could use the cutters with applesauce cinnamon dough to make a bunch of ornaments you do not need to paint.

You could do cinnamon or other sticks and tie them together with raffia like stars. Like in this picture

Or maybe you could do Mickey heads or snowflakes similar to these

Or just print out animals onto cardstock, but they wouldn't be 3 dimensional

Here are some ideas they may be too costly though.

This website has a bunch of ornaments and other things from Africa,

This has ornaments from around the world.

You could probably get some wooden shapes and paint them to look like these soapstone ornaments.

These are pretty cool

All of your ideas are wonderful, Becky. Thanks for all the time you took ti find those! I like the idea of tying cinnamon sticks sticks together, but maybe just in little bundles. I found these this afternoon. They are Polish straw ornaments but I think they would work well.

Plus, on the trees at AK there are flat straw placemats as ornaments. But I bet I could find coasters!

You can go to "edit' and then resize to whatever you want. But make certain to create a new file, not replace the old one. Or at least I can do that. I have the VIP version or some other strange name for it.

You can also type "_th" in front of the file name of the photo on here and it will be thumbnail-sized.

I'm so glad it's almost bedtime.

I didn't sleep terribly well last night as my cough got worse. Of course that made me feel worse again today. Thankfully with a little sudafed this afternoon I am feeling better now. I got up around 9 AM after a restless night. I immediately started in on the housework that I neglected while sick this week. I figured that since people were parking in our yard this afternoon for a wedding up the street we might get some visitors. Turns out I was right. Anyway, I cleaned all 4 bedrooms top to bottom and did quite a bit in the main areas though I really do need to dust better. I never did make it in to clean the bathroom, but life will go on ;) We attended the wedding at 3:30. It was a coworker of Chris'. Colby has always been smitten with his girlfriend (now wife). It was a simple outdoor wedding with a nice reception. I really think they were trying to keep costs at a minimum and they did all the food and decorations themselves. The bride asked to have her picture taken with Colby and that was all he needed to attach himself to her for the rest of the evening. They danced together and he basically followed her around. Everytime I tried to keep him with us she would ask him onto the dance floor so I guess she was enjoying him too. You should have seen him on the stage breakdancing  :rotfl2: It cooled off fast and really became cold so we headed home around 7:30. I'm all toasty in my PJs now.
Chris, my brother and Dad cut holes in our foundations in preparation of the pipes for the new furnace. That took them a good part of the day. My brother and Dad then began digging the trench that will house the pipes. We are renting a little back hoe so the digging needs to be done tomorrow. That means Chris will be tied up all day tomorrow.

Hunter is complaining that his ear is still hurting. The NP that saw him last Friday said that she was giving him a short dose and it may not completely clear it. We also saw the regular Ped in the meantime for his annual check up. The NPs notes are not in Hunter's chart so the nurse was unable to call in another prescription and the Ped's note said that ear, nose and throat were normal even though he commented to me that he could still see fluid and the infection :headache: That means that I need to take him back tomorrow for another visit to get a new prescription. I cannot tell you how POd I am. I'm sure that they will bill our insurance even though as far as they're concerned we were never there

:woohoo: Congratulations! I couldn't get it to work on my Verizon phone.:sad2:

More great ideas, Becky!! I love the Fimo beads. I fear they would be heavy though. We will have to think about that. Kristin has offered to make any crafts I think would be nice. :goodvibes

How about cinnamon ornaments? You make a dough with cinnamon, applesauce and glue and then roll the dough and cut out with cookie cutters.

Thanks, Bernadette. I have some of those little Mickey head ornaments in many colors that I have purchased over the years at WDW. I will certainly use those. As for the cinnamon ornaments... if Kristin wants to make them that is fine but I am not going to do any crafts for these trees. :rotfl:

I did see some bronze and brown glass ornaments at Macy's this afternoon that might look very nice. I have to see how big the animals are when they arrive.
