Marci - I would be so frustrated with the folks complaining who didn't do as they were told. That drives me nuts!

Deb - congrats on placing with the boys costumes! I'm glad to hear your camping weekend was a success, aside from the rain and car trouble! We have learned that you can't ever be over-prepared for "emergencies", however infrequent! Hooray fora good appointment for the boys. I hope you are on the mend by now! {ETA: I'm sorry you aren't! } I can sympathize with being "bad at doing nothing". It makes recovery tough, doesn't it?! I cracked up picturing your cat sleeping in your shoes! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! arty:

Beth - I have subscribed to your TR thread, and look forward to reading it (although I don't know when that will be ) I love the graphics!

Chanon, I'm intrigued - What was the Balloon-Dollar for?! We have several small totes for each holiday, so we don't have to dig through any to find what we're looking for! I'm sorry I didn't get you holiday stuff, I had shopped off of the registry before I was reminded A Contiki tour sounds heavenly!

Tia - When do you leave? If I haven't missed you, have a WONDERFUL trip! I'm so incredibly excited for you all to finally get to experience your happy place with Phil!

Terry - Thank you for posting about Karen! I'm glad to hear she and her family are well, though I hope they have power now!

Dana - I'm Jennifer, 24-year-old SAHM (for now) to twin girls (Elise & Avery, 3 months)! When working, I'm a pediatric RN. My DH, Kyle, is a resident physician in both internal medicine and pediatrics, so he's never home. That will change, thankfully, in about a year and a half if we survive until then! I obviously just returned from a random Midwest hurricane We live near Kevin, Amy and their kiddos and see them somewhat frequently (although not enough!) We LOVE WDW during the holidays!! I think you'll definitely enjoy the cooler temperatures, if nothing else!

Tom - I'm glad you checked in, and that you only lost power for a while. I hope your town is cleaning up all right!

Amy & Robyn, I'd shop at your cake shop! I think you should do candy and cookies though, too!

Anne Marie - I hope things are settling down for you. What's the latest word on when you're moving? How is poor Sophie feeling?!

Jen - Hooray for Colorado! You always have such a good time with your cousin, how special!


You all DO make big babies! I was 2 weeks late, and weighed 8lb, 8 oz. I thought I was big!

Well, I'm thrilled to have electricity, etc on this call day of Kyle's! I would have gone to my parents, but figured we were all safer here. By the time they went to stay at their house, I didn't feel like packing up all that would have been required of us. A hotel would have been way too expensive, so I'm glad the outage only lasted a few days for us! Oh, well! We made it through relatively unscathed! I did realize, however, that I'm not cut out for any time period but our own!

As cheesy as I find Deevy See, I was glad to see Disney finally owning up to the Bay Lake towers!


I seriously just took nearly 2 hours to catch up. I didn't go back to bed after the 4am feeding so I can catch up on things around the house, especially now that our water restrictions are lifted. Sheesh! Oh, well.... one thing off my to-do list!

Theresa- I am sorry Jim didn't get the supervisor position. Thanks for taking on the exchange again this year!!

We are in slow motion here this morning. Molly woke up 2 times last night, 1am and 4am. And they didn't get into bed until late. I need to go hop in the shower and start getting ready. It's back to normal this morning. I had Dana's youngest DD Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as her daycare closed so Dana was dropping Emma off at school for me. I couldn't fit all the kiddos in the van!! I'll check back in later.

Elin - hooray for finding a Disney gift card! That's even better than finding cash, because you can't justify not spending it on your trip! What did you end up doing for luggage? Did your friends check in with you ever? Great price on the car rental.... things are shaping up so nicely! Can I come with you?!

Thanks for all of the good thoughts for Mom! I'm a little nervous, but hopefully she won't have any problems. She plans to go straight to work after her treatment so she said I won't hear from her until later in the day. Great.

I called our DVC guide yesterday about the reward dollars. He is going to look into it and see if he can figure out why we don't have them yet. He did say with all the BLT craziness it may be awhile before we hear back, but at least I have made him aware of the problem!

That new Travel Channel show about DVC is on tonight!

Thank you for pointing this out! We used to have a "dish pass" that recorded all things Disney, but now we have a different satellite provider and can't figure out how to do the same thing without recording the Disney CHANNEL 24/7 I'm sure I'm going to miss stuff by having to actually manually set recordings!

I hope your mom does well today, and that she checks in with you in a reasonable fashion!
