DDA Chapter 12

Eric took 2/3rds of the girls over to his parents after dinner for a bit and came home with some news. Apparently his mom had went to the eye doctor a few weeks back and was diagnosed with cataracts. She went today for a 2nd opinion and found out that the blood vessels in her bad eye are burst or severed. Basically it means that she is blind in that eye. From what I got out of Eric there is little they can do. She has had numerous little accidents/incidences and I guess it all seems to make sense now. She works from the mid afternoon to late evening and I imagine that she will no longer be driving at night if at all.

I guess in the grand scheme of things butter seems insignificant!

I figured those of us that have DVC could pool our points to rent it and invite those of you who didn't have DVC! Too bad they only sleep 9!

Just got rid of one, don't need another. Unless he has lots of insurance and one foot in the grave. I would never eat either mashed potatos or broccoli without butter. Next time he wants salad, give it to him without any dressing.

Let me guess....Everyday Math, or whatever it's called. This is our second year with it, and I'm having a hard time accepting it.

It's called Envision Math. And I envision myself having to go back to elementary school to help her out.

Sounds intriguing, would you mind sharing the recipe, please

It's so easy, I'm almost embarrassed to post it.

Here goes.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Place a Boboli bread crust on a cookie sheet. In a bowl, mix 2 cans of drained tuna with 1/3 cup mayonnaise, and 1/2 cup minced onion. Spread on crust to within an inch of the edge. Top with thinly sliced tomatoes. Bake in oven for 12 minutes. Remove from oven and top with thin slices of American cheese. Back in the oven for 2 minutes while the cheese melts. Slice and enjoy!

Dana. I'm Stephanie, the eldest regular poster. I am a Disney nut. I visit as many times as I can afford to. I'll be there in 19 days for 6 days. Then in 80 days I'll be there for 12 days including the Mousefest cruise. I am so excited I just can't stand it. My BFF is Terry aka tinker1bell. We've been friends for many years. I have a DD 30+ and a DS 40. Four grandkids. The best DDIL in the whole wide world. My entire family loves Disney except my son. He only likes Disney. He grumbles the entire time. His wife has to give him a good talking to or he would ruin every trip.

Ok, I know I probably missed this but I don't have time to go back and catch up right now. What does everyone think about the DVC announcement of the two resorts? Surprise, surprise! NOT!!!! Those of us with DVC are going to have to pool points and rent one of the Treehouse Villas sometime!!!!

I have two friends who are blind in one eye and you would never know it. They drive, they work.. you would never know it. I'm so sorry this has happened to her.
