We live in Vermont for many of the same reasons. Other than blizzards we have pretty tame weather.

I suppose I could let you off the hook! I still would love to have you come for a visit. Great camping around here!!!

You are welcome! I hope that you can use them. I tried to pick books that would be good for kindergartners at the beginning of the year, as well as the end of the year. I'm just happy to be a part of your first classroom!

I love all that stuff!!! Snowmen is my theme for my Christmas kitchen. Unfortunately, I have to pick up stuff a little bit here and there, so it doesn't all match. But, I'm getting my snowmen!!!

I hope nobody is to disappointed....I forgot I had a parent's meeting this evening so I will not be pulling the names until tomorrow....along with reading a 300 page book Time runs away sometimes!!

No problem! Tomorrow will be fine!

How's the foot doing? Jacob stubbed his toe twice last night, and the nail is all purple. It's really freaking him out. I told him to just keep his socks on and he won't have to look at it!

Glynis- I'll come to Utah. It is on my list of places out west I want to visit hopefully next summer. I want to visit National Parks. I plan on flying out somewhere in the west and then road tripping it. I would love to do a coast to coast road trip, but I know I will get to do more if I fly out then road trip it and then fly home. Colorado is also on the list as is, Nevada, Wyoming, Arizona, New Mexico, Idaho.

Not sure what I will figure out. But I want to do it.

How's the foot doing? Jacob stubbed his toe twice last night, and the nail is all purple. It's really freaking him out. I told him to just keep his socks on and he won't have to look at it!

It hurts like the dickens...the bruise/tenderness is at the "tight" spot on shoes (what do you call that spot anyway?) so since I have to wear shoes all day and in to the night I see no relief until bedtime.

Elizabeth-congrats on AKL Concierge I warned you concierge was addictive. I should listen to my own warnings. I'm already thinking about booking a standard concierge room for my birthday trip with Joe and then how could I not book it for Emma's birthday trip in Jan 10?

Bernadette - Well, I am too cheap to pay for concierge next December (but we'll be in a hotel room not a villa so the towel thing won't plague me), and if my mom goes with us in 2010 we won't have enough points to do any nights in concierge. I can't really say what possessed me to book all 9 nights in concierge next year. But it was available! I HAD to book it!

I was thinking I would try to make the AKL part a surprise for Lizzy but I already want to tell her. I honestly don't know how she'll react to the surprise. She tends to need to think about things. I know I couldn't surprise her with a trip but I was thinking she could handle this. I guess I'll wait a while and see how our conservations about the trip go. She asked me if we were really going (I had mentioned the possibility on our trip) and I told her I had bought airfare. She asked me where we staying and I told her Pop. She said she wanted to stay at ASMu. She might need a little time to think about it.

Hello all! I keep losing my posts when IE crashes out for no known reason so I don't remember if I've posted anything today. So just in case...(and I apologize if these are duplicates)

Amy and Jennifer - I hope you are surviving okay. I hope power is restored to you, Jennifer, ASAP and that others are doing okay.

Theresa - I'm so sorry about your foot. I hope it is doing better after some rest tonight. Whenever you get the names drawn is great! Plus

Deb - Sounds like a nice weekend. Sorry that the boys didn't place higher, but your costumes were still great! Glad the race was fun save the car issues. I really hope you're feeling better ASAP.

Glynis - I would love to live in Utah! My best friend is already lobbying to get us to move to Montana when they finally get to, but Utah would be great too.

Have I missed where anyone's talked to Karen yet?

The older boys had their annual check up today. They are both in excellent shape. He isn't concerned about weight or growth for either boy. They were happy that they didn't need any shots today

I think I'm actually feeling worse now. I found someone to work for me tonight as I'm pretty sure the customers don't want me hacking or sneezing on their food. Hopefully I will feel better by tomorrow. I plan on taking a nap pretty soon.

Deb - I am glad the boys are growing at a good rate. I do wish you felt better. For you to cancel out on work I know you have to feel lousy.

Lots of for Jen to have her power restored. I know how she feels trying to take care of little ones without power. I packed up and drove to my parents.

Thank you! I had a terrible time deciding which things to buy. I kept putting things in the cart, taking them out, putting them back. It was irritating the daylights out of Princess!

Bernadette - DS likes Pop but he doesn't complain about going to AKL! Of course he talks about wanting to go back to WL and the Poly, but it's not really up to him.

Tia - I don't think anyone has heard from Karen.

And now that I finally got to post something I guess i'm off. Gotta make a list of things left to do before Friday. Terra and I both have dr appts on Wed and I promised to take her to a Talk Like a Pirate thing at the park if we're ready in time on Friday. Also gotta have the downstairs company ready before we leave as Mom's having a MOPS dinner with her table groups here on Tues and she'll be out of town Thurs-Sun. And the sewing, and the autograph cards, and the packing, and the laundy, and the.... Actually, there's not too much of anything left to do, I just need to get it all down on paper so that I can manage my time better the rest of the week.

Oh yeah, and Kristi's power came back on this morning so we're all up and running again from Ike.

Well we both get up early in the morning, and by the time you finish up with the kids I am home from work. so, I guess we are! Couldn't ask for better company, could we??
