Speaking of that sort of thing, I am FINALLY changing OB/GYNs! I called today and made an appointment with the new one. I really, really hope her billing office is competent and does not bill for procedures or medications that were never provided!

I had my monthly doctor's appointment this morning, and things are really good! My blood pressure is finally excellent, and Peanut's heartbeat was perfect. I'm measuring where I should, and things are right where they should be! I had my blood drawn for a gestational diabetes test (I can't drink the glucose liquid because of my bypass), but they don't think there will be any problems, since I didn't have any with my other pregnancies when I was significantly overweight, and since I've lost all the weight, that is a point in my favor.

I was able to schedule my c-section for December 4th, so unless Peanut decides to come early, that will be his birthday! I'm so excited to have an actual "deadline!" Now, I just have to get everything ready!

Now, I'm off to make tuna noodle casserole. I am craving comfort food, and that sounds good to me!

I'm glad that everything is going well

I came home from work and crashed.

I am really overwhelmed at work. I actually have been working since I got up after my nap. I have to finish review Plans of Work, then create 3 year plans for the units, plus I have to do my self-evaluation. Basically they want it all done so they can do the annual reviews. Which are supposed to be finished by the 20th of this month.

I will probably be working on this stuff this weekend. I am having a hard time motivating myself to get this stuff done. I am mentally still on vacation. But my stress level is probably higher then before I left.

I am also very worried that my foot is not healed and that I will need surgery. I have my x-ray tomorrow and my appointment Tuesday. If I need surgery I will have to be cast for 8 weeks. I am really hoping that my foot is healing on its own, without any need for surgery.

I'm back. Another slow night, and I'm glad to be home. Chris was planning on attending a car show in Lake George, NY on Saturday, but the weather isn't looking great. Of course it depends on the weather station too. Some say the rain won't start until Saturday night while others have Saturday as a washout I cannot imagine driving 2 1/2 hours to walk around in the rain. The amount of cars will be less too if the weather isn't good. I wasn't planning on going and have picked up the Saturday shift at work.

So are any of you onboard the weight loss bandwagon? I've been doing well, but I so want some sweets or a soda I'm hoping to get my intake under control this week then add exercise next week. Exercise is my nemisis though so that will be tougher than eating properly.

Does anyone know what the current incentive to buy DVC is? One of my customers is thinking of buying and he either wants OKW with the add on or AKV. He is thinking of buying resale, but often the Direct DVC cost is better or at least similar. Also what is the incentive for referrals?

I made sure that I had the tape player ready to go for when my DSIL would be introducing Obama. Hal called me to say that there was a live stream on the computer. I bring up the site and the newsperson kept stepping in to practice. He managed to start talking just as my DSIL was talking
My DSIL was interviewed so there will be an article in the morning paper. My daughter said she got to talk to Obama and he asked her where she worked and then a few more questions about her take on the economy. She got a picture with him and her hubby. Naturally she is on top of the world. I think they even had a shot of them on CNN. I am glad my kids are making the point to really get involved.

I plan to do a lot of reading and "GASP" watching some of the debates.

I am still trying to watch my point intake. My treat is a Weight Watcher Ice Cream. Exercise is not my friend, but I did notice I can skip up the stairs at work!!!!

that might be a week too early for us. I think I still will have a couple of recitals to do that week. Unless I am in Orlando for the National Federation of Music Clubs Convention at the Rosen Plaza Hotel. I do believe that is the same week. However... for the cost of my attending the Convention by myself I think I could rent a 12 bedroom home on the OBX for all of us for a week!

Don't ask me where... but I read something on a DIS board today about them trying out a 100 point offer to see if more people would buy at that level instead of the 160 that they offer now.

Hi! I am at work and it's my 3rd of 3 in a row. We leave for MS at noon Friday (today). Hopefully I will nap in the car. My grandmother isn't doing well, so I am glad we are going. I work next Mon, Tues, Wed and class on Friday. I will keep you posted.
