DDA Chapter 11

Elizabeth, good luck. :wizard: I think the workers know less then the guest most times.

I do think the girl quoted me regular season instead of value. So maybe there isn't a difference in rack rate between MS and CRO, but if CRO runs a better discount than 25% their rooms will be cheaper. Now I have to wait until my 11 month mark and see what's available on points, then I can work on deciding how to do the cash nights. I need to decide if we are arriving Thursday late or Friday early. There are pros and cons to both.

She actually is enjoying herself! The hardest part for her is getting up by 9:00 a.m. and having to be in bed by 1:00 a.m. I think when her normal hours of 12-6 instead of 10-6:15 start she will be even happier. Thanks for asking!! :goodvibes

That's great! I am glad she likes it! :)

Does anyone else have colorful leaves all over their lawn?

Not on the lawn, but we did see trees starting to turn this weekend. It looks like it will be an early fall this year :confused3

We're off to pick up the other boys. Hopefully they had a good day too.

Colby and I layed down to take a little nap and he just couldn't stop talking. I bet it was an hour before he fell asleep :goodvibes

Jennifer, :wizard: for your leaves to start changing. I absolutely love fall, but hate that winter is never far behind.

Deb, forget and early fall, I think we will be getting a very early winter. :(

Terry, glad I am not the only one who cried. Was starting to worry I might be strange.

Well actually I am, but that's moot point. :teeth:

you all weren't the only ones sniffling...I did too.

Aah, don't I wish! I was just telling Kyle I can't wait for the leaves to start turning! :cloud9:

ACK! Jennifer - The leaves can NOT change until a week or two before October 4th in Ohio! No more talk of an early fall. (And I'm not allowed to look at the top of my trees anymore because it just freaks me out that I'm gonna have naked trees in my wedding photos!) :scared: (I know. I'm turning into a bridezilla. I'm aplogizing in advance.)

Theresa, ok so I did kinda figure that you would tear up too. :)

Well, Princess had the most fitful nap she has had in months. She made some sort of a noise every 5 minutes, and now after only an hour she is ready to get up. She was tired, too, because she was falling asleep in the car before lunch. When she finished eating she told me she was tired and ready for nap. I hope she's not getting sick.

Sorry Chanon, may the leaves say on the trees long enough for your wedding pictures. pixiedust:

Elizabeth, hoping princess isn't getting sick. :wizard:

Oh, dear! My vision is doing that weird thing it does when I am getting a migraine! The right side is all flashy and neon-y. Anybody have any suggestions how to head it off?

I figured I'd be all sappy this morning. Strangely it was Chris that got sappy, but more that Nick was going into 7th grade, Junior High that got him :rotfl2: The boys really did change over the summer. Nick changed the most, but Colby looked more like a first or second grader than a kindergartner :upsidedow
The boys first day pictures are great!!

I'm such a sap, I was crying.

Me too!

Well im home from day 1 of orientation--it was a long day, but went well and I met some new teachers. For teh entire district, there are 73 new teachers. We had meetings from 8-1245, then an hour lunch, and a couple more meetings and now im home.

I saw the woman that I needed to talk to about this job, but she was just there to introduce herself at the beginning of the meeting and then was gone. Tomrorow, we have meetings til 1145 then we go to the school we are employed at. So HOPEFULLY ill be able to find the lady i need to talk to in the morning, and if not, ill be calling the district again during a break. BUT on the bright side, there was no one in my orientation that had the kindergarten position at that school.
so thanks for the good thoughts--think them again tomorrow!

Jen-I know the job will work out!! But don't they realize how many people they are frustrating by not telling you already???

Sorry Chanon, may the leaves say on the trees long enough for your wedding pictures. pixiedust:

yes! They should start to turn early, do it somewhat slowly, and then stay colorful for a long time! I like this plan! :teeth:

Oh, I'm sure I'm too late! :( I hope you aren't in the middle of a migraine now! In the future, lots of fluids, especially something like Gatorade. It doesn't always work, but it's the only thing that I think stands a chance. I'm talking a few liters, fairly quickly if possible!

I can't believe they STILL aren't telling you! :headache:

I hope you can figure things out tomorrow... the anticipation is so unfair!
