DDA Chapter 11

A margarita sounds good to me too! But I am not into making one for just myself. Maybe a black and tan again tonight. Theresa... mind your Ps and Qs.... :lmao:

since I've still got the migraine...I think you might be safe (would it be okay if I stuck an "r" in though??;) )

Forgive my non technical terms - but I guess so! His piano can flip the tunes - organ, piano...but I believe it's mainly piano. Definately not a huge wall organ like I see in big old churches. We are pretty much giving him free range on music - since Bob is in the choir they are also surprising us with two songs for the ceremony as well. Those are what I'm looking forward to the most!

He has a digital keyboard! Even better. He can play anything he wants then. I can't wait to hear you tell us what the choir sings for you two. That will be a great surprise.

I saw the cutest 2 pack of Disney onseis at Target with Mickey on them and was trying to decide what size to buy for Peanut.:)

Hmm that would be nice though

A 2 pack (one with a single design and one with a print?) I think I saw the same one, and I love the whole line! We bought a Minnie "born to shop" one, as well as a "princess in training" set and - my favorite at the present time - dopey saying "Bald is Beautiful" :teeth:

Sounds interesting! I liked the Line Dancing thing - class was Thursday at 11am and college night at the country bar was Wednesdays. :rolleyes1 She did that purposely.

Elin bet me to it!

FOUR?! I only had to take one! And yes, thanks for the email! I'm updating now! (Unless you have any other suggestions for songs... )

:lmao:

Just a quick pop in...

Emma started 3rd grade today(I feel so old and just want to :sad1: ) She was thrilled and excited.

I'll check back tomorrow. I am feeling sick to my stomach and am headed to bed. Good night.

what a cutie patootie!!

(and if you feel old...how do you think I feel?? I have a JUNIOR!!)

Boy, I must be tired tonight.... you lost me here, Theresa!

Everybody would love my house right now....Cassidy (and Abi) have Disney and Broadway tunes they are practicing for the first recital of the year. Our piano teacher thinks Abi is the more natural musician (which is probably a good thing since she doesn't practice as much:lmao: ) and now Cassidy is starting to wonder if she really wants to make music her career choice:sad2: (Miss Kathy has never said anything in Cassidy's presence...she just isn't sure she wants to make something she loves so much tedious).

I can definitely relate, and we had Mexican for dinner that night. :lmao:

Hey Deb,
I took the liberty of painting Colby's walls yellow, if you don't like it feel free to say so.

ColbysRoom001copy.jpg

Chris and I love it. When will you be over to paint :lmao: Seriously I will be painting and papering his room yellow, but not until next year. I did run to Joann's. I picked up some light blue ribbon and used it to tie back the curtains. I like it much better. I think I'll get a solid yellow blanket for the foot of his bed and hopefully a yellow and blue throw rug for next to the bed. I think adding a few more yellow touches will balance out the colors. I definitely like the blue tie backs as they help tie the elements together. I'll try to post pictures tomorrow. He was sound asleep when I was putting the tie backs up :goodvibes

Don't even get me started. I'm sending my baby off to college tomorrow for her 2nd year of college.

My mom was talking about this today--she said she cant believe that her son is a firefighter/EMT and im going for orientation at a school district!

sorry...my brain is muddled....so in my head it sounded funny because r is the next in the alphabet. :upsidedow

Please tell Miss Cassidy that if she can imagine herself doing anything else with her life then she should opt out of music as a career. It is a very time-consuming profession with great rewards for the soul, but not for the pocketbook!

If she forces it she will no longer love it.

My baby starts kindergarten tomorrow. I thought I'd be ok with it, but I'm just a little sad tonight. We will take them to school in the morning. Nick starts 7th grade so we have no idea what his schedule will be like or what Advisory he will be in. Hunter will be in 5th and he will have the teacher that Nick had last year and he will stay with her for 2 years. The kids didn't even seem nervous tonight which is an improvement over most years :thumbsup2

I loved PE in high school. Of course we usually had the choice between 2 activities and I always did the more boyish things like rope courses or repelling, hockey etc. In college I took a Martial Arts class and a low impact aerobics class.

that's what I've told her...plus that she's got a few years to figure it out.

Oooooh, can I please see your list?! Picking out the music was hands-down my favorite part of our wedding and reception planning. We opted out of the traditional wedding marches, as well. I'd love to see what you're using, if you'd like to share! :goodvibes
List? :rolleyes1 Ummmm.... Can I use yours? :rotfl:
My lists actually only has three "must be played" songs on it (besides the "assigned" songs at the reception) and those are as follows:
"At Last" - it's a given
"Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress" - the only fast song my dad will dance to
The OSU Fight Song (that will be interupted by the Michican Fight Song which will then again be interupted by Hang On Sloopy because OSU always wins!)
After that, I just want to make sure that people dance. And if they don't, they better mingle gosh darnet!
:lmao:

Unless he decides to come early (heaven forbid!), he should be 6 months then.

We are too much alike! I took all College Prep classes except for PE. Since I couldn't take PE after my freshmen year, I signed up to be the assistant to the PE teacher for the elementary kids during my free period.

In college, I took basketball, basketball referee, ballroom dancing, and don't remember what else. I was in intramural sports and even got a part-time job there my freshmen year until we left. I was bummed that I couldn't get away with more PE credits and still graduate.
