DDA Chapter 11

I survived another night at work. This one was actually moderately busy. It has rained here non stop since about 3:30. Nothing seems to be flooding and there is no sign of it letting up. We have virtually no wind. The sky is so dark. Hunter commented on how menacing it looked on the drive home. It should be all done by morning.

He laughed and wondered which game is the big one tomorrow?

You are both even more adorable now. I used past tense since I didn't think you were still wearing the same apparel :cool2: Or maybe you still have that little number that you only take out on special occasions :rolleyes1
I think I saved the stupid skirt, just in case I ever wanted to look like a big dork again. ;) :rotfl:

Well here we go again, this is the projected path on weather underground earlier today, the white star is where I am,

I was just looking at that a few minutes ago. I hope you have the same luck with Ike as you did with Gustav, and that we did with Hanna.

I should be going to bed. But I so love this quiet time.

I'm sorry both you and she are going through this. I know you feel helpless, but I bet if you ask her she would say that you helped tremendously. No matter where she is you are only a phonecall away. :wizard: that she adjusts quickly and makes some very nice friends.

I'm sorry, Vicki. In a backwards way I know how you feel. I have never lived far away from my mom before. I know she isn't doing well right now and there isn't anything I can do to help her. :guilty: There's no way we will move to Kansas, and I don't think she is in any position to move back here.

as if he does not know that I will be watching the cowboys game!

He just checked and it will be aired here so he may watch it ;) We do have a town wide ice cream party from 2 - 4 PM. It seems that someone entered into a competition with Edy's Ice Cream and our town was selected as only one of 2 in VT. It should be fun.

Janet - Love the new siggie, you got some really good pictures.

Tammi - How cute is that?

Vicki - I know just how you feel I hated when I couldn't be ther for them.

Robyn - Mo looked so grown up, she really is a cutie.

Channon - your pillow came out fabulous, what a great keepsake also.

Oh no. It does seem that their models are changing a lot though. This storm may follow a different track and spare you  :wizard:

Debbie - I REALLY hope something happens so that Ike isn't worse than Gustav. We will be watching the updates and sending good thoughts to you guys! :wizard:

Good Night Friends,

I have to make an early morning trip to DD's, Brandon's bday party is tomorrow and she decided to decorate the cake herself, only problem is she has never done one before, so I'll be heading out to "help" her.

Have a good evening

Glad work was better tonight Deb, hope the tippers were a little more generous :wizard: It is raining here now, didn't think we were suppose to get any more till Monday!

Chuck is feeling the same as you. With his dad's ill health, he feels he should be there more. Luckily they are only 1-1/2 hours away. However, he just found out Friday that they have $10,000 of damage to their house from hail damage that they never told him about. I don't recall anytime in the recent weeks where we had hail so it has to be from over a month ago. He is feeling guilty that he hasn't gotten over there to check on them recently. His brother does live in town and does a good job now (that wasn't always true).

Janet you got some great shots. The one with Stitch inserted on the bench made me smile :goodvibes
