Right now, amazingly our March trip flight would be less than what we normally pay by almost $100 each.

We had a wonderful trip, but I am exhausted! Next year I am planning a couple of days for down time ::yes::

The weather was much better than I thought it would be, no heat stroke for me lol Riley talked me into riding a surrey bike as well, it was fun but a little scary with an 11 year old wanting to pedal as fast as possible  I also rented a sea racer for Garrett & Riley, they really enjoyed this & look forward to doing it again.

Loved our stay at POR, our plan is to stay there again next year. We were in Oak Manor which was very close to 2 bus stops & the food court. We also had a quiet pool within steps from our door. The grounds are beautiful & I have no complaints other than the fridge not having the control knob :headache: I will be better prepared next year!

I so enjoyed meeting up with everyone for dinner :goodvibes Spent quite a bit of time with Elizabeth & her family. Riley & Elizabeth's ds got along like they had know each other for years! The necklaces that all the kids are wearing in the picture posted were from Debbie. Thank you again, the boys think they are so cool :thumbsup2

My house is a mess & of course have I plenty of laundry to do. The kitchen is tore up & my fridge & stove are in the dining room. Meals will be cooked on the grill, in the crock pot, or in the microwave.

I have lot's I should be doing, but I am laying in bed & getting ready to nap. Everything will wait till later. Gary is knocking down walls in the kitchen, so I think I will stay upstairs for a while :thumbsup2

Just wanted to pop in & say hello  I will be back later!

Good news! Part of my waitlist for December came through. So my entire ressie is on points, but my dad still has 3 nights cash. I hope his comes through as well.

Hooray!

I really have to start training for the 1/2. I'm down to 7 months. I can still do it with the training programs that I plan on using. However, I don't have much more wriggle room. I've already lost two months since I signed up. The plan is to start the C25K today. I need my DDA buddies to help keep me going on this. This is something I really want to do.

Oh Vicki, you can do it! You will be fine with 7 months! :goodvibes I've heard great things about the C25K program. Have fun!

One of my friends did the C25K and had great results!!

YAY!!!

Chuck and I are trying to decide which DVC resort we should stay at during our March trip. We are going back and forth between standard view Animal Kingdom and Standard View Boardwalk. I can't talk him into a split stay.

You can do it Vicki. We are behind you.

I have to tell you that Alyssa was rather disappointed that you and Chuck weren't at Cape May Cafe with some of the DDA crew. She remembers Chuck playing with her at TH so he is now one of her favorites. :goodvibes

Welcome back Janet! It was great seeing you again.

Vicki - having stayed at both, my personal preference would be BWV over AKV. AK just didn't do it for me. After staying at BC, that is our new favorite resort. There is so much to do within walking distance. If you do stay at BW, just be sure to request a room close to the elevator. The walk down the hallway can be EXTREMELY long.

Thanks Tammi. That is what I was thinking. I like the idea of being able to walk to Epcot. I'll definitely be running a couple of days (since the marathon is that week-end).

Thanks for the info on the elevator. I'll remember that.

We definitely want to try out AKV sometime but I just don't think I could handle being that far away from everything for a whole week. Everything would be a bus ride away.

I really was jealous when I saw the picture of all the DDA. We'll have to make sure we make plans to be there sometime when you guys are there in the future.

How does the first week of December sound? ;)

Don't forget that you can walk to HS from BW as well.

I've been considering that. What are the exact dates? I think he would prefer to go for Food & Wine Festival but he also keeps talking about meeting up with DDA friends. He wants to try out a couple of restaurants but keeps saying we need to meet up with people to really enjoy it.

It really depends on flight costs.

We'll be there Nov. 30-Dec. 6. Anne Marie, Janet and Chanon arrive on the 4th I believe. Not sure how long they are staying though.

Gee they should have been smart enough to cancle it sooner.

Hope ya all don't float away.

we went to the concert venue (outdoor) and they cancelled the concert in between the time we left the house and got to the venue:headache: and the rain stopped for a full 2 hours before it started back up!! :headache: :headache:

Deb, our weekend without rain was yesterday and today.
Hopefully the rain will stay away for awhile.
