Marci and Debbie, great pictures!

Jen, congrats on first grade... what a fun age! :goodvibes:

Kristine, I hope Bill's tests turn out to be nothing big.

Back to cleaning.... please remind me to tell you all about the Carnival I attended today, it was the sweetest thing!

Have a good afternoon!

This was said so nicely! Ditto!

(And remember to tell us about the Carnival...) :teeth:

Looks like I am in going to be heading into some stressful times...

Bill's last doctor's appointment did not go particularly well....

so far:

his red blood cell count is off....

he is anemic...

so they are concerned there is some source of bleeding somewhere...

so we are starting with a colonoscopy consult...

now we just got word his EKG is "off" so there "could" be a blockage or something....so now we wait for the calls for the next step. I would assume he has to take some kind of a stress test.

All this, and we leave in a month for vacation...

Oh, Kristine. I hope it is something not serious at all and that he is back to himself very soon.

What other company do you all order from besides Garden Grocer?

Like you aren't... :rolleyes1

How did Dana like his interview?

Well they flew him to Atlanta for the day so they must like him.:) He said everything went very well & the person who interviewed him said he was a very strong candidate. We should hear within a few weeks. Thanks for asking. Our fingers are crossed.

Kristine,
I hope all is ok with Bill & that whatever is going on is not serious.

  I hope they can nail down the reason quickly and get him proper treatment:wizard: :wizard:

The other grocery service is Minimus I think

Swimming Lessons are over :cool1: :cool1:

Nick and Hunter both passed to the next level :cool1:
Colby did not, but I knew that he wouldn't. 5 years old is way to young for level 4 anyway :goodvibes

I hit a thrift store and found a new (used) dresser for Colby's big boy room. It is in terrific shape, the perfect size and I was able to paint it yellow :goodvibes I've already go the first coat of paint on it :thumbsup2 I'm off to work before too long. At least I have tomorrow night off:banana:

Colby's mattress should be here tomorrow. I'm still waiting for his bedding to arrive so I may not be able to pull the whole thing together this weekend, but at least we are moving along.

The weather forcast has no rain predicted for Sunday which is the first day in months. Hopefully we can get our deck treated.

Looks like we may be getting yet more rain this weekend. And this weekend was suposed to be the community wide yard sale.

we've got a parade in the morning and a Drake Bell concert in the evening and it already looks like there should be canoes out in the streets. Poor marching band kids:eek:

So i have more good news to share--its early, but I have to tell someone!
I just got a phone call from the head of the elementary department of the district that offered me the long term sub position.
She wants me to come in on Wednesday morning to meet with her and 2 principals. They are waiting on approval for a grant and if it gets approved (which they think it will) there will be an open kindergarten position and she wants me to have it!

Oh, my, Jen. How wonderful would that be!!!! :goodvibes

Hi, everyone. Work is going well so far, and I love being int he NICU. I work Sat, Sun, and Mon. I have a new preceptor as my last one literally ditched me at the beginning of the shift and left me with 3 babies as she didn't like working the "not as sick babies". And she's one of the new Clinicians and precepting is part of her job. She told me they didn't pay her any "extra" for it, and she wasn't going to be stuck with me for 8 weeks... What a B**TCH!

Need advice on Resorts for our next trip. We are definitley not going in December as I won't have any vacation time. So now we're trying to plan for next May.

The kids REALLY want to try the Poly and AK (would do a 5/3 or 4/4 split stay). At AK I'd have to do either 2 connecting rooms, 1 bdr suite (concierge), or 1 bdr DVC. Opinions and advice on either resort please? I think they really enjoyed trying some new places in April.

I hope you all are well! I will try to keep up a bit better.
