I'll post the picture real quick before we head out to "Apricot" this morning.

Elizabeth's DH isn't in the pictures although he was there.

This is a great photo! Looks like everyone is having a blast!

Here's our place cards! (Or at least the start of them! Once we figure out the seating chart, I'll add "table X" to each one...)
Red is beef....beige is chicken... :teeth:

Very nice!

The camping week-end & picnic were fantastic. Lots of good food, great people, and laughs. I did a lot of cooking but it was actually very relaxing for me. Everyone had a great time (at least they said they did over & over & over).

I'm glad everyone had fun!

I am quite excited. Although there are no better discounts than the AAA one we have for the Polynesian when Bob and I go there next month, I was able to snag an AP discount for AKL CL for our dates in December! CRO was crazy busy this morning, but after 45 minutes on hold I had a great CM who help ed me save almost $400.

Good for you!

So I decided to take the first step in the job hunt. I found a number for the new aquatic center. They have hired a director for the facility, but there will be more management postions opening up. It is going to be quite the facility with a competition pool, recreation pool, waterslide, lazy river and fitness center. I am so excited to have the facility so close to home and we will definitely have a family membership whether I work there or not. I was given the phone number for the director and talked to him briefly. He wants me to email him my resume, but was concerned that I am not certified at anything :rotfl: The pool will not be opening until January so I do have time to get some of the needed certifications. I need to work on my resume as I haven't needed one in 7 years. I also called various places to find out about upcoming classes that I would need. I think that I will take the courses no matter what as they could be useful in the future in ways that I haven't even began to think of. So who can I list as a personal reference on my resume? Any takers :rotfl2:

Here is a link to the Aquatic Center

Wow -- the website is already pretty impressive, and it's not open. I agree with Elin. Shake out that resume and start your certifications.

Good Morning form Disney. We really enjoyed meeting everyone last night, we all have pictures so I'm sure someone will post soon.

It is crazy crowded, but the heat hasn't been that bad. We were are Studios yesterday for rope drop and the run for Toy Story was INSANE!

We rode with a fastpass last night and the standby wiat wes 130 minutes. :scared1:

We're having a good time but definitely looking forward to November.

Glad you are having fun, and thanks for posting the pictures. The pic is awesome!

We're getting rain! It's terrific! The high today is supposed to be in the mid 90s, but then for the next few days the high will be in the upper 80s.

I went and got the school shoes last night. Jake got all black new balance tennis shoes and Andrew got a pair of Johnston and Murphy's. He's in that inbetween kid/adult dress shoe. He's probably a 6 1/2, and the men's start at 7. I went ahead and got him a pair of adult with insoles, because the kids dress shoes were cheap and stiff. I just couldn't see making him wear them 12 hours a day... I figured comfy shoes will help lessen the blow of not wearing tennis shoes. We'll see...

The soccer coach called me last night to make sure Andrew is playing. They've been having sign-ups but we haven't been around. They will probably start practice in a couple of weeks. I'm going to try to go see my best friend tomorrow who tore her Achilles tendon and run a bunch of errands. Sunday will be Church, a back to school swim party in Dallas for Andrew, a birthday party for one of his friends and the Ranger game.

Have a good one everybody!

And finally, a few pics from DC. I'll see if I can find some from Atlantis over the weekend.

Looks like I am in going to be heading into some stressful times...

Bill's last doctor's appointment did not go particularly well....

so far:

his red blood cell count is off....

he is anemic...

so they are concerned there is some source of bleeding somewhere...

so we are starting with a colonoscopy consult...

now we just got word his EKG is "off" so there "could" be a blockage or something....so now we wait for the calls for the next step. I would assume he has to take some kind of a stress test.

All this, and we leave in a month for vacation...

I have to wait and see...im sure I could, but the dr told me I have to heal all the way first (ugh!) Apparently i have to go back in 3 weeks to make sure i am cleared..but im not thinking it will be a problem.

I have to also talk to the teacher and hopefully will get to spend some time in her classroom

It was nice to come on this morning and have pages to catch up on:goodvibes

We have/had a cold front coming through...last week we were nearly 100, today is cold (62) and rainy with the rest of the weekend supposed to be similar.

I could tell when the cold front came in...I was asleep by 6:45 and slept fitfully until 8:45 when I was hit with a migraine and took medication but couldn't fall asleep so I watched the ladies all around...what an amazing night. Nastyia was just magnificent to watch:lovestruc Shawn was great too, there was just something special going on with Nastyia last night.

Let's see what I can remember:

YEAH!! Jen for 1st grade:cool1:

Great find on the shoes Marci (I have to return some shoes for Abi because 9's are too small:scared1: ) Love the pictures. :lovestruc

Welcome "home" Vicki...we have missed you. :goodvibes

Tia-good luck on the job search...I am sorry that you have had similar days to mine yesterday. :flower3:

Elin-:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: on reduced rates enough to pay DDP

Deb-I haven't figured out what I want to be either when, and if, I grow up. I think it's a great idea to recertify...you don't know when those things will come in handy. Your days are so busy!!

Julie, the massage therapist I told you all about in my long rambling post a couple of weeks ago can use the power of the DDA. She has been hospitalized with a temp of 104 that they suspect is viral but don't know for sure. Even though I've only known her a short period of time she's become important to me.

Marci and Debbie, great pictures!

Jen, congrats on first grade... what a fun age! :goodvibes:

Kristine, I hope Bill's tests turn out to be nothing big.

Back to cleaning.... please remind me to tell you all about the Carnival I attended today, it was the sweetest thing!

Have a good afternoon!
