Jen - I'm so glad you're a little more on the mend. Hope the appt proves to be uneventful. I hope that Joe is doing better too.

Jennifer - Our prayers for your current situation. Never a fun thing to deal with.

Elin - Sounds like you finally have a workable first day.

Marci - Hope all goes well with the workman today and the house repairs cease and desist very soon! Even more than things cool down for you!

Well, work is just as odd as always. After two weeks home with Mom, Cinderella is moody as can be and alternately sugar-sweet and very uncooperative. School decisions have not been figured out and the first day for the various options are/were yesterday, tomorrow or Monday. It's starting to look like she's just going to put them in the public school after all. Of course, that's the one that started yesterday and I don't know if it's a permanent solution or just until she can get the tuition together for the private school. I did do some research today and found out that the kindergarten there is full-day so it wouldn't have a huge impact on our day-time schedule which is good. It would also be a whole lot less miles on my car which is very good! Now if I can just get her to pay me the money owed for the last two weeks we'll be good. I think Terra will do a lot better when the kids are in school too as Cinderella has taken to being pretty rude to her on a semi-regular basis. All in all, I guess things are liveable, but we're going to be on the lookout for something new.

On good news front, though, I picked up the perfect cancellation at 1900 Park Fare today. Terra's been talking alot about Cinderella being her favorite so I think she'll be excited. Now if I could just get someone to drop a LeCellier on one of three days, I'll have them all! Of course, with the way talk has been lately, maybe that's not too big a deal. I can get cheddar cheese soup and salmon at F&WF and be satisfied, I'm sure.

Speaking of F&WF...how big are the samples? More specifically, how many would fill you up in between an early resort food court breakfast and a dinner that may or may not be kept? My wish list is looking pretty long with a combo of entree, appetizer and desserts. I'm wondering what is realistic.

Tia-I am sorry work is wonky (say that 3 times fast ) I hope it calms down enough that you can enjoy the time you have left with your charges.

So I found the masks. One thing found. I really gotta pack. It is much easier said then done given my gimpy state. I go to one room to pack, but then realize things are in another room. I get distracted in the other room or decide to sit down as standing on one leg for lengths of time is difficult. Or balancing or both with crutches is difficult. Then I can not take the items to the other room unless I have a backpack to transport things. It is very slow going. Considering it is one of my least favorite things, it is just totally unpleasant.

Also if you could send good thoughts my Dad's way that would be appreciated he has been having stomach issues. He went for some tests today. He has a doctor's appointment yet tonight. I hope everything is OK and he starts feeling better so he can enjoy the trip.

The kids are all packed & so are the essentials, sunscreen, shampoos, toothpaste, etc etc.

I am still debating on bringing very dressy clothes for Citricos...one more small suitcase!

Thanks, Terry. In the long run we will probably come out about even. I canceled our Park 'n' Fly for Friday night and we will park in the economy parking area, paying $7 a day or less than $40. Our room at All Star Sports is about $93 so that comes to $133. Our Park 'n' Fly was a tad over $145, so not so bad in the long run. I guess the only better thing would have been if we could have gotten that additional night at the Poly for $93.

So I have a bed full of stuff I would like to take. I have more stuff to add to the pile. Then I need to sort through what I really want to take. I can only have one 50 pound suitcase plus a carry on, plus probably my camera bag. Although I hope to get my camera bag into the carry on.

I have to figure out the shoe situation, I can not wear many types of shoes given that my walking boot almost demands high heel shoes to be level. Also I guess I could probably only take the left shoes. Hmmm..

I will probably chuck everything in the bag so I can sleep tonight and then sort through it tomorrow or Thursday morning.

Becky-I am with you...packing is no fun...espescially with accessories you weren't planning on!! You will get it all done and have so much fun on your cruise...you will make us all jealous again!!

Once you get through the unpleasant task of packing you will be off on a grand adventure



It seems many of the DDA and or Families are searching for better career opportunities. I wonder if unrest is in the air I wish you all well. I need to get finger printed for the school as I am hoping to be a part time sub this year. The extra money would be greatly welcomed as I am no longer doing daycare for my niece and nephew. I am fortunate at the moment to be getting a lot of nights at the restaurant, but customers are down and even the ones coming have cut back on tips. I am probably still making less this year than I did last year though I'm working more hours. I seem to go through the debate about how I could work morning, but still be able to pick up Colby at 11 AM. So far I have no good ideas other than occasional sub. If anyone has any suggestions please enlighten me
