Elizabeth- Continued prayers for your mom and a dose of :wizard:

Debbie and Tammi- Have fun packing!! :cool1: for almost trip time.

Jennifer- Your "staycation" sounds wonderful.

Becky- Have fun today.

Deb- I hope the rain stays away long enough that you all can get things accomplished.

Jen- Enjoy your time out today.

Things with Mo aren't so great today. She is having a hard time swallowing so she pretty much refuses to drink. It's so hard to get her to understand that she needs to drink in order for it to not hurt worse than it already does. She is looking rather pathetic.

My dad and uncle just left this morning for Wisconsin. They have a long drive ahead of them but both preferred not to fly. I feel like I should have gone, at least for my cousin Sue, but with Mo the way she is there is no way I could leave her.

Sure! (And hey, my WDW ticker isn't showing up.... darn signature cut-off!)

It's our "vacation". We aren't going anywhere because I gave up 60% of our income :headache: so I was just calling it a vacation at home. But of course, while I'm at home, it's not like I'm off of work or anything.... so vacation didn't seem right. :rotfl: Anyway, in October, Kyle is off for 2 weeks. He picked the latest Fall block available so the girls will be a bit older and more interactive. It will be wonderful to just spend time with him, but we also have lots of fun things planned around the city/general vicinity, most with the girls, some without -- Segways, Duck tour (of our own city :rotfl: ), golf, apple picking, Fall Festivals, a weekend at our Alma Mater (parks, football game, concerts, etc), Zoos..... it's shaping up to be a fun "trip"! :)
Sounds fun!!!!

How exciting to actually know of someone competing! We'll cheer her on too!
me too!

Im sorry things with Mo arent going so great...hopefully she will be able to drink later. When she gets up, have her get up slowly so she doesnt fall (like someone i know ;)) yesterday, i was able to eat actual foods again so i hope Mo can soon too!

Im sorry you cannot go to Wisconsin when you feel you should be there..but im sure Mo is glad you are home..im 23 and was glad mom came and sat with me in the hospital yesterday!

Invites are addressed! Now to close all the envelopes and verify that the envelopes are written correct and stamp them. If you see me posting anymore - make sure I get this done!!!
WOOHOOO
Hey, DDA! Just popping in to ask for pixie dust for my mom.
youve got it! hope she is doing better today
Hi Denise, thanks for stopping in! I'm glad to hear you're enjoying (and doing so well in!) the NICU. I knew you would! I hope the adjustment continues to be an ok one for you!
Ditto1

so i am at my moms work resting now....see, no overdoing it! :)
We went to the first game, which the boys lost, and they dont play again til 11 so mom came here to do some work since she left pretty quick to meet me at the hospital and i came to relax . It felt good being out, but still hurts to talk and open my mouth. im hoping its just because of the fall but if my teeth still hurt in a few days, i have to go get Xrays...but the ER said that they may be sore i guess...who knows ;)

Pretty much. I washed everything from this week, and just put it in a pile, because I leave again next Monday for another work trip. So that is ready to repack when I get home from WDW. I still have whites to wash and then I can really get down to putting everything in the suitcases. The worst thing is packing for one night in Baltimore before our trip. I think we are going to head up there mid-afternoon tomorrow, have a swim at the hotel pool and TRY to get a good night's sleep.

You will be so ready to come home and stay there after the next few weeks are over! Don't wait too late to head up to Baltimore or you will get caught in the ubiquitous Sunday 95 traffic!!!

I got all my compositions done this morning and have the first of 2 loads of laundry in the washer. I am going to go sit out on my patio and read a bit and enjoy our gorgeous weather.

This afternoon we go back to the winery for the Cheese and Wine pairing. I am very much looking forward to it!

Thanks Jen. I know my place is here but I feel torn still.

We keep pushing the small sips of drink. Up until this morning she had been doing really well with eating. She has had chicken noodle soup, oatmeal, even a hamburger (one of those Lunchable ones that really shouldn't even be considered a hamburger!), cantaloupe and scrambled eggs.

Just take it easy!!!

Poor thing. Maybe you can get some meds in her to alleviate the pain? :confused3

She is on Hycet, which is the liquid hydrocodone. I have been religiously making her take it every 4 hours. But since last night it's been a struggle. I am going to take the meds back to the pharmacy to have them flavor it for me in hopes it will help. She is also on amoxicillin and we have been mixing that with her hycet so it makes it seems like we aren't making her take it as much.

She is dosing off on the couch so we just plan to stay here and take it easy. Emma is at my in-laws and I may see if my mom will take Lucy for a bit.

Im on the same meds ahahha..plus a steroid and nausea meds
Will applesauce work for her? the first day or 2 all i was eating was apple sauce, jello, and water..
Also, maybe apple juice? If she is only getting in some liquids maybe that will help keep her sugar up?

She tried jello and hated it. She will eat applesauce and has been sipping on apple juice through the night.

Poor Molly-I hope she feels better shortly.

I swear I read every post...I just can't remember them :headache:

Hey Deb - where do you recommend getting lounge chairs at BB?

Tammi,,,,,It is for a fun thing coming up!!!!!

Now

GET PACKING!!!

I've done what I can.....kids' suitcase, my suitcase, overnight bag for Baltimore, carry-on bag.

Now that we can't take liquids on the plane, what do you all put in your carry-ons. I'm only packing a change of clothes for each of us in case our bags get lost. I used to take all my bathroom stuff (I would die if that bag got lost, hope I didn't just jinx myself) but now with the restrictions there is no way I'm doing that.
