I took a self portrait but it came out blurry for some reason even though it was sitting on a table that wasn't moving. No worries everyone, you'll see photos soon enough - the bridal shower is this Saturday!

Check this out, on a thread I started asking about replacement tickers...

I'm Jonathan Sadowski, I own the domain v50.net.

I just threw the countdown service on that domain years ago, mostly because I wasn't using the domain for anything else. I have plans for the domain name, so I'll need to shut down the service.

I'll give the source code to anyone who wants it and even help you setup your own countdown service for free (who knows, maybe disboards.com wants to host it?). But a word of warning -- I went through a considerable amount of bandwidth each month, despite only hosting simple countdowns. Each month I was usually exceeding 5 gigs of bandwidth.

I suppose it wouldn't hurt to email the mods/webmasters....? Although I'm pretty sure they use enough bandwidth on their own. Oh, well! I thought it was nice of him to stop in!

Hello, DDA! I haven't had much time to read here, and I really starting to feel a little panic about how quickly the 13th will be here! But I must admit that I took a good chunk of last night and today to read Breaking Dawn, the newest "Twilight" book. I am taking it a little easy today because I think I have otitis externa (swimmer's ear), and it hurts. I guess I'll be calling the doctor's office tomorrow. I HATE going to the dr.

Also, I realized that I never ordered my Rewards card from Disney Visa. I don't really have much on there right now, but every little bit helps, right? Does anyone know if you can get a Rewards card at WDW? I thought I read that once, but I can't find the information now. It takes 2-3 weeks to order one, and I don't have that time any more.

I hope things are going well for everyone! I am going to try to find some time tomorrow to start going through vacation photos. Then I'm off to my parents' house for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

I think that we won't have any special, matching shirts for our trip (Laura will be thrilled!), but maybe I can pull off a couple. We still haven't told Miles yet. I am toying with waiting until we are leaving for the airport, but he may need a little time to adjust to the fact that dh isn't going. I need time to go into super slow motion for just a little while.

Beth...here is the info I found Downtown Disney - by the AMC theatre Downtown Disney - behind Ghirardelli's Magic Kingdom Guest Services outside the park Magic Kingdom Guest Services inside City Hall They can issue a card within a few minutes (with photo ID and the Disney Visa card). Then I call 800-300-8575 and go through the prompts to get to the Rewards menu. Then I press 0 to get a rewards rep who will transfer the points to the card within 2 minutes.

Thanks! I thought I read that somewhere. I'll plan to figure it out when we go to DTD. If not, it's not much, so I'm not really losing anything.
